Review Sponge Kitchen - Levin

If you dont already know, the Sponge Kitchen has some of the best food you can get. I was in for a sit down lunch with my daughter. I had a Whitebait fritter. This is the 1st time i have been disappointed. 90% maybe more, was egg. But i will be back, you cant beat their Steak&cheese pie !

Just had the whitebaite omlette, salad and fries with a café latté. Absolutely superb. If I wasn't so full, for the freshness, and flavourful taste, I could eat it all over again!

The pies we chose were very enjoyable. The cheesecake a naughty treat but delicious. Coffee was ok. The layout of the store is a wee bit inefficient. The loos were very clean but not the easiest access for those with a disability. Would be very happy to eat there again.

Pleasant surprise as a pit stop for brekkie fuel for our road trip. Huge portion sizes!

We live in Palmy and often pass through Levin on our way to Wgtn. The food here is just superb. I had scrambled eggs on toast, and the toast is their own fluffy white bread cut in thick slices. Just delicious !! The staff are very welcoming and helpful, and the atmosphere is lovely, with the artwork on the walls and the relaxed, semi art deco atmosphere. Prices are very reasonable and the Coffee is superb. Definitely our go-to eating place in Levin. Can I give it SIX stars?

Truly one of Levins little gems in amongst all the eateries. The service is on point and always with a smile. We've been going here for over a year now and cannot fault the team at Sponge. They make magnificent pizza like no other, seafood chowder, the best nachos EVER and a mean triple decka sandwich and coffee. If you're looking for somewhere to grab a bite or a drink, enjoy a relaxed atmosphere and great service, then look no further than Sponge Kitchen ❤

So good to come back after 3 years and find my favourite's (Chicken Potato top pie & butterscotch slice) and still on point 😋

Consistently great food at great prices. Goes the extra mile, doesn't just have same old boring items on offer. Breakfast meals are massive at such a good price and came out quick for the amount of people they were serving.

Good cheap food. The team were awesome on getting our orders out quickly. Would recommend to anyone wanting a fairly priced meal. Good serving sizes also

We stumbled across this cafe today and was most impressed. The sizes of meals were of great value. The toasted sandwich almost filled a full size plate. Great coffee to boot and friendly staff. As regular travellers through Levin we'll be back

Nice meals, if a little on the large size (for me anyway); shoulder have ordered one small Macaroni Cheese between the two kids instead one each (and did not think to check if it came with 'extras'on top, ie, the Breadcrumbs! Grandson was NOT impressed one bit. Would have enjoyed my lunch (again, lovely Pumpkin Soup but half would have done) but for my two complaining and tired grandkids

We came from Wanganui for short trip to Foxton. In early cold morning woke up, and we decided to have big breaky in Levin, the hunger buster was kickin my hungry tummy and the mochachino was best in town 👍😊😍 thank for your friendly service 👍👍

Best pies in the horowhenua district hands down, the wedges with the cheese and all, mmmmmmmmate!!! Only one minor problem, need more space but anyways FOOD! bloody awesome
