I had the black forest waffles and they were fantastic. Good prices and friendly staff.

Yum, yum, yum, yum, yum! What a fantastic cafe. We will definitely be heading back to have breakfast there again soon. My Eggs Benedict was superb, and hubbys big breakfast looked fantastic. We both eyed up Master 7s waffles, so aherm.... we ordered a second breakfast of waffles!....Oh yes we did! The coffee was the best I have tasted anywhere! Hubby (usually a 1 sugar man) said he needed no sugar as it didn't taste bitter. If you are on SH1 and passing through, please stop and support this incredible establishment. You will not be disappointed. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, the cafe was clean, and the food was very reasonably priced.

Location - quiet (regardless of being next state highway 1), lots of free parking, no hills (good for older generation), beautifulky maintained grounds, kid friendly onsite, cutely furnished with local artwork on walls for sale. Previously booked for baby shower smorgasbord which was the BEST DECISION for us, returning for our daughter's 1st birthday party to do it all again. Service - food is AMAZING (fave is any waffles or chicken burger), iced chocolate drinks are a WINNER, friendly local customer service with family friendly atmosphere. Cost - suitably priced for the high quality of food that is served, not expensive. Support small locally owned and operated businesses!

The best waffles that I've ever eaten. Lovely warm atmosphere with friendly and helpful staff. Reasonably priced menu. Eggs Bene waffles are my favourite and they're always consistently delicious.

Good old small town diner fare - come here for breakfast. The savoury waffles are a guilty pleasure - the smothering of thick rich chicken and mushroom ragout might not be to everyone's taste but hits the spot when I'm in the mood

First time visit and really pleased we did. Another cafe in Horowhenua providing genuine fresh tasty food & coffee was piping hot just as requested. All the food is made in-house & it's yummy. Next time we'll try the waffles.

The kitchen was closed when we got there at approx 2.30pm but the coffee was excellent and the cabinet slices and cakes delish. Lovely atmosphere, friendly staff/owner and a nice green view. All in all a great place to visit.

This place should be a destination, not just a stop on the road. Beautiful building, with stain glass french doors and windows. There is a covered area at the front , which would benifit from instalation of fitted blinds from Canvasland, creating a place for small tables, sheltered from the traffic noise, and inclement weather. An area for children to play, perhaps under the trees at the back of the property. The shop is in fact a hairdressing salon, which doubles as an art gallery, craft type sales. Actually has some very nice things, but needs a better display area. We had coffee , and cake which was delicious, and the prices were as you would expect. Staff were very obliging, and chatty making you feel welcomed. Would visit again.
