Great locale pub , kids and animals friendly. Good range of craft beers and food's. Monday is the only closing date and can book table in an advance. Apollo cinema is in the same building

A restaurant made out of earth quake wreckage. What they have done is amazing. Special thanks to Aki, our day manager. He is world famous in Lincoln.

What a delight! Popped in to check the beers and had a wonderful experience. Great, welcoming staff, fantastic, quirky, reconstructed building and good beers, including 3 real ales on handpump. Only had chips, so can't really comment on the food, but they were tasty and served in measuring cone! The tasting paddles of beer were served in glass laboratory beakers. Love it!

A brilliant place for our lunch. Great choice of lighter foods and friendly, professional staff member served us. My mate has a bit of a disability so finger food options were great for him. Would recommend.

Absolutely loved this place! A wide selection of beers with 3 real ales on hand pull along with an explanation what a real ale is for those unfamiliar. Most beers are their own, with a couple of guests as well. The place has a lovely vibe to it, with friendly staff and intriguing artefacts about the building. Tasting flights come in scientific glass beakers which caused some amusement, and the menu is based on a periodic table! The most interesting part for me was the history of the building itself; constructed from reclaimed materials from old buildings and those destroyed in the 2011 earthquake. There is also a small cinema on site, which time prevented me from exploring. I wish this was my local...although that would probably be rather bad for my worklife!

We had an awesome experience here! Super friendly staff who whisked us to a table and took orders. Food options are great and once ordered, our pizza came very quickly! We loved both the margarita and the Carne was especially good!! Nice beer aswell. Great music too and cosy atmosphere. We would definitely come here again!

Great night out at The Lab for our Lincoln badminton club. 24 of us for dinner. Super easy to just order at the table with friendly and efficient staff. Despite it being a busy Friday night, food came out promptly & was delicious. Thanks team for great social night for our club.

Excellent. Venue awesome and food and beers perfect. We had the fish with salad which was delicious. Would definitely call in again. Thoroughly recommend.

Great food and very friendly staff. We went at lunchtime and we had the place to ourselves. We had a range of pizza and snacks. The food was delicious and reasonably priced.

Customer service at The Lab is fantastic. Very polite, helpful and accommodating staff. Lovely casual atmosphere suitable for adults and children alike. Very happy with the food which was delicious. Price as expected.

Went for a family late lunch. Service was superb, with our waiter offering options to make sure we fully enjoyed our meal. Food was delicious and cooked perfectly. The Hazy was the ideal match.

Our meals were very nice. The food was hot and didn't take long. The only thing was the ice cream desert. 2 scoops in a glass. Could have done better. The service was friendly and the place nice warm and cosy. We went next door to the movie after our meal. A good night out. Will be back.

Great selection of beers and beverages. The barstaff are very welcoming which made the experience wonderful. Loved the Greek pizza we had today along with some handcut chips. Yum!

Love coming here! I Every time I’m in Christchurch it’s worth a visit. Their range of craft beers is absolutely fantastic. If you’re a fan of the darker range, go grab yourself a Black Hole. I had several pints and can’t recommend it enough. The service is fantastic with the bartenders joking with out table. The pizza we had for dinner was superb and complements nicely with their beer. If you’re in Christchurch you should definitely head out to Lincoln for a craft beer and their amazing homemade pizza!

Had a work dinner at the Lab this week. Often there picking up a takeaway Pizza this time sat down with a bunch of work mates. Fantastic food the Wood fired Pizzas are the best in Selwyn - I've been going to the Lab for pizza for Years now. The entree's were delicious perfectly cooked. One of our party had an on-site brewed Beer flight - Brilliant! Staff are friendly, atmosphere is genuine and warm. There is even a dog friendly area. Full Marks to the Lab!

Always enjoyable to have a pizza in the atmospheric bar/lounge before heading into the atmospheric cinema to enjoy a film.
