Review Chilli Masala - Lower Hutt

Lisa Ryan
An awesome indian restaurant, lots of choices on the menu. We had the Hong Kong chicken (mild) and Pasanda (medium); both had a kick to them. Really friendly staff.

Our family had a wonderful time here: great food, service. Recommend the masala chai, not just because it's yummy, but for the performance of the long pour! And the sizzling brownie was also real culinary theater experience. So fun! And surprise happy birthday music at the end. Thank-you! Highly recommend!

Food was delicious I think gravy portion size is a bit smaller which could be made little big.. Overall experience was excellent 👌 I will definitely recommend to everyone 😊

We booked for anniversary dinner last night. The service was beyond excellent also Atmosphere in restaurant is so good and food was so delicious. They made our night an extra special one, especially Mr Manju Nath he is the best attendant ever. I only wish we could give more than five stars.

Excellent food here. Worth the (above average) prices. The flavours of the food are better than most others. My dad said it was the best curry he's ever had. Service from the staff was delightful too. They know the menu, and are confident in recommending good dishes.

I recently visited Chilli Masala Indian restaurant during my trip to Wellington, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience. The taste of the food was absolutely fantastic. Each dish was bursting with flavors that delighted my taste buds. The restaurant's hospitality was top-notch as well. The staff members were attentive, friendly, and made sure I had everything I needed throughout my meal. I highly recommend Chilli Masala to anyone looking for a delightful culinary experience in Wellington. The combination of great taste, excellent hospitality, and a focus on hygiene truly sets this restaurant apart. It's a must-visit for Indian cuisine lovers like myself. I'll definitely be returning on my next trip to Wellington!"

Excellent service, atmosphere and above all very good Indian food. Their menu is just too good and so many dishes to choose from. Honestly haven’t seen such a vast selection of foods in any other Indian restaurant. The food is outstanding. Will definitely visit this restaurant again next time we are in Wellington.

Excellent Food and Service every single time.

The dry pepper goat entree is a standout. Tamil manager was friendly, but dinner prices are high. Lunch special is the way to go. Jai Hind

Superb food and very warm service. Been there after years but still they have the same authentic foods with great taste and quality. Love being there.

Delicious selection, there were so many wonderful choices it was hard to choose. We really enjoyed all of the meals we ordered. The vegetarian and gluten-free options were delicious.
Karl Rock
It's a very good and authentic Indian restaurant. I can recommend the Pepper Chicken Gravy and Kerala Fish Curry. Both delicious and not what you'll usually find in New Zealand. They cook all meals fresh, so it can take 30 minutes for food to come. Enjoy

Amazing food! I just ate the best Jalfrezi I've ever had. Huge chunks of tender, perfectly cooked lamb, a sauce full of flavour and the perfect amount of spice. 10 out of 5!!!

A mistake tonight was made with an order for a vegetarian. I was very impressed with how genuine and remorseful you were with the situation and saw your true integrity in what you do. Thank you

Never have I felt disappointed with the food and service. Wide vegetarian options and they are all made with distinguished flavors. Never ever does 2 or 3 dishes have the same taste like many curry places. (P.S : They have many base gravies to add flavor to curries). Best food. Their staffs are always smiling and welcoming. Take away portions are generous. What not, best in Wellington. Best is their garlic naan and biryani.

Not a best night at chilli masala, we booked the table at last minute, they said yes, we were happy, but when we arrived they gave us table with Red Plastic Chair,we felt embarrassed,we ordered two dosa’s,dosa’s were good but condiments like samber is stale, coconut chutney and red chutney where too much lentil. Issue with the table is common sense before giving something to guest, please put your self in there place. Before booking the table should have informed us about the special treatment, Not happy, very unprofessional.

Love this place! The service is always spot on, staff are friendly. Love the lunch specials! Highly recommended.

The food was yumbo and the staff were amazing , there were 4 of us and we all had different meals which we all enjoyed. Best Indian restaurant I have been too.

Tasty food, but the entire evening was destroyed at the payment counter. We were charged an extra amount on our bills which was not justified. Being an entrepreneurship professor, the kind of behaviour witnessed today is the last thing for a business to succeed. We had a detailed exchange with the waitress before going for a banquet, and at no point were we informed about extra charges for naan bread. In addition, this was not mentioned anywhere on the menu either. To top it all, we were in a group of friends who are very frequent visitors of the restaurant. The least one could expect from the management was to keep goodwill. I don't think a good product can ever overtake the quality of service, which in this case was highly inappropriate.

Useless service and home delivery waiting for my food still not received its more than 1.10 hour now since no food, i can imagine now their service n quality
Geoff Hanlen
This place is always busy, and its not surprising! The range and quality of the menu is awesome, always leave here more than satisfied. And the staff are fantastic :)

After going to the grand re-opening of Chilli Masala (Lower Hutt) yesterday (18th May), we would highly recommend this restaurant to all food lovers, specially Indian food lovers ! Amazing food variety added to the menu, restaurant space increased, awesome ambiance, the quality of food has always been good and it is just getting better ! :) Go and check out guys !! :) The website doesn't look like it has been updated yet, so go and check out guys !! :)

Our local tasty meal for a reasonable price. Chicken lollipop entrees are a must! As is the lamb madras
Octagon Pie
Soo delicious, a must try if you are looking for curry in Lower Hutt. I had the butter chicken, never disappoints. Very noisy and busy though so if you want a quiet atmosphere to talk, this might not be the right place :)
Veeral Patel
I was really impressed with the friendly + prompt service as well as the high quality of veg and non veg curry dishes 🍛. My personal favourites was the fish masala 🐟 and chicken tikka masala 🐔. Each curry was tasty, well spiced, and have good portions of boneless meat.

The chilli cheese naan was a family favourite as well. You can really taste the cheese and chilli and was well portions to the amount of naan bread.

If you want great Indian food outside the Wellington CBD, should definitely check this place out and drive down to Lower Hutt 🙃
Alec Bach
My partner and I love this place, no other Indian restaurant in Lower Hutt compares. Our usual order is paneer tikka masala and a chicken do pyaza/bhuna/butter. Very consistent quality. My partner thinks the naan is too chewy some times however I love it. The only bone I can pick is that their onion Bhaji comes in balls, not flakes. That is just my preference though.

Definitely give this place a chance, you will not be disappointed

Looking for perfect indo-chinese food? Head into this place! They serve the best info-Chinese food in town! Chicken lollipops were crunchy and delicious. Their goat curry is also one of their best dishes! Highly recommended.
Sheryl
We enjoyed the food and the vibes! We have been here many times.
Recently we tried their lollipop chicken and masala chai and it was delish!

for more check out @wellymunchers on the gram

I decided to go here because I wanted my friends to try out the Chicken Lollipops and Paneer Chilli - two things I absolutely love! 😍 It's also the only place around here (that I know of) that serves both.

We also ordered the Palak Paneer, though it wasn't creamy as I expected it to be,
and the Mangalore Fish Curry which wasn't authentic at all and no flavour from the fish. These came with some rice and butter naans which were very good!

Also, since we went during lunch hours, we paid lunch special prices which were completely affordable considering the portions. Note that if you order the lunch special, the portions are lesser than usual as well, however more than enough for one person.

Between the 3 of us and all this food, we paid $17.30 each

While we were there, the songs kept alternating between Punjabi songs and a few English ones. Indian music (a mix probably) would be nice. But that's just me.

Service is quick and very good!

Definitely going back for the Chicken Lollipops! ♥️
Mark Christopher
It's a very good Indian restaurant, that serves authentic Indian food. Not really close to the city, but worth the journey, if you like some authentic Indian food. Price is very affordable, the decor of the restaurant very simple not too flash. Very nice place to catch up with friends and family.
Emily Janus
Their paneer curry is the BEST. The paneer is soft and small pieces. The spices are perfect. Huge portions, yummy fluffy rice and fresh naan. Decent price for what you get!

Love this place. Highly recommended. Have been there so many times and it never disappoints us.
Went there on a sat and ordered butter chicken, chicken tikka masala, lamb madras, lamb korma and a tandoori chicken. I have tried other tandoori chicken before and I did not like it as it was blend. The tandoori chicken was well seasoned and tender. It goes well with the cucumber yogurt dip.
Definitely one of the best indian restaurants I have been to. Almost all my indian friends love this place as well. You know an indian restaurant is good when it's recommended by indians right!
Nitisha Arora
Best Indian food in Wellington. Loved their info Chinese dishes and daal makhani! Will try their South Indian dishes as well soon.
Would definitely go back!
Highly recommend.
Peter Grindrod
My wife and went on Monday evening for a quick meal after work.
I had my starter of Onion Barji which was very filling with very subtle taste.
Main was a medium heat Chicken Tikka Masala it is a favourite of mine and the meat dish was full of big chunks of chicken in a beautiful thick sauce.
This restaurant continues to rank at the top of the list for many of the local Indian community. No prizes for guessing why.

🍛Fish Masala - it tastes amazing! With its special spices, it has a mild touch of chili flavor but strong and lingering tastes of fine curry.
🍛Vegetable Jaipuri - I ordered hot and it is truly HOT🔥but it goes perfect with naans and rice! Finished them all without guilt.
🍛Service - staffs are friendly and nice. But you need to wait at least 20 minutes to be fed. Prompt service of offering water. By the way it’s a really good place for vegetarians.
🍛My husband’s friend (a native Indian) highly recommended this place and it seems his favorite restaurant in Wellington. Worth a visit if you like Indian food!

Brought my boyfriend here telling him that this is the best curry I’ve ever had, but they had since moved from takeaway shop to restaurant, so we dined in. I had lamb saag and he had butter chicken with naan and garlic naan. Was very disappointed in both dishes and haven’t been back since. Are now looking for our new favourite Indian takeaway. Such a shame.
Max Freer
Lived in Wellington for 25 years and this is the best Indian the city has. Hands down. Awesome service and food everytime - good tip is to order in advance for lunch and they'll reserve a table for you
Theresa King
This is the go to place for lunch. Food here is always delicious and as this is our go to place we have tried a lot of their dishes and all have always been on point.
Jono Arraj
Best Indian Restaurant in Wellington!! Dont ever waste your money going anywhere else. If you want a decent curry and leave satisfied and happy then this is the place to go.
Divyarajudantuluri
For a good indian food if you are in Wellington, this is a place which you can choose with out second opinion. Especially the biryanis and naans are apt for our liking.
Steaksammie
Yum yum yum!!! The best curry ever!! We love this place! Have tried lots of different things on the menu and they are all great! Wonderful to eat in or takeaways. Great food and great service!
Loveheart1955
We always go here for lunch because dinner time it gets really busy n food doesn’t taste the way it suppose to be anyways
We went with my family
Food we good but we wanted to try Masala chai the person behind the counter said they can’t make it so we asked why as we were the one in the restaurant left he said we about to close but it was only 12pm something.
So we pay n went away then we saw dad got over charged. We really disappointed with the service.
But food at lunch time they make is really nice.
Johann Go
A menu with great variety, from entrees and sides through mains and sharing platters. The service is prompt and friendly, and the prices reasonable for a sit-down a la carte establishment. The decor admittedly needs some work here and there, but this can be forgiven because of the fresh, tasty food they provide.
Aman
Food is good some of the best Indian food I have ever had but by far the worst customer service I have experienced the owners are extremely rude and don’t know a thing about customer service if it came and hit them in the face I would recommend just take aways if that the customer service is letting down the business. theres a response from their management down below just showing what it’s like
Richel Tan
Good Indian food. Cheap good lunch deals. And they deliver too! We had curry lunches organised at our work place ever now and then. They take a long time to cook the food though so you have to order ahead of time. Its the same when eating in the restaurant but its worth the wait. For takeaways better to call them first for your order, then drive to supermarket to buy drinks, then pick up the food. I recommend their biryani.
Kiko Vergara
Bang for the buck. Did the lunch banquet and I came out stuffed. Made the mistake of finishing off the entrees which left me too full to really enjoy the main course. Great food. Would probably revise my review next time I get to really critique the main course on a slightly less full stomach.
Sapphire Crystal
Now this is what I call an outstanding restaurant with the very professional service.food is the best in town.cant compare their meal with anyone.no one matches their standards.highly recommended.
Lorbucky42
It was okay, nothing to rave about though... butter chicken was way too tomatoey and not creamy enough. Decent naan bread which was nice but still no where near as good as maharajas!!!
Sravan Santhosh
Too much aginomoto ...... I would rather call restaurant as aginomoto specialist !!!! rubbish and waste !!! Yes service is good but food ....
S
Ordered a banquet for two of us at 35pp, we were slightly afraid it would be too much and would have to takeaway left overs. To our dismay we didn't have enough to fill us up. Included two pieces of 4 entrees all of which were average. Then had 3 curries to share which were very small serves and two of which were average and bland however the goat curry was exceptional. We finished with desert which was nice but too sweet for me. Service was good but for 70$ and not even filling us up was quite disappointed. I would go back but would never order a banquet or reccomend to anyone. Better off to order seperate curries. I have had before and food was amazing but not sure what happened this time but the taste was a big disappointment to what I've had previously.

Honestly loved it! Very busy but excellent service. Took a little while to get our food but they were very very busy. The hosts and staff were amazing. The food was brilliant. Price vs quality is also very good ☺

We ordered Takeaway- Mix Uttapam, Vegetable Biryani, Samosa. Out of all the 3 times samosa was fine.

Mix Uttapam was brown i.e. burnt

We specially asked for Vegetable Biryani to be mild but it turned out to be very spicy and we couldnt eat it and had to order pizza at 10pm.

Last time we went there was dine in and the guy at the counter over-charged us for the food.

Really sad to see the quality of the food is dropping. Not going back.
Anupama Samantroy
We ordered veg and non veg food.
Paneer Chilly was quite nice. All the chicken curries were really tasty.
Desserts are bit expensive but the Gulab Jamun was delicious and very authentic. Gajar Halwa was also nice. We wanted more but they were running out of stock.
Busy place with nice and friendly staff. Would recommend and will visit again if in town.
Martin Carla Lazenby
We had lunch at Chilli Masala in Lower Hutt today & we were very impressed with the prompt service, Price & ambiance in the restaurant. There were many people already when we entered but the tables were quickly cleared, the bathrooms were very tidy. The food was out of this world & of a very high standard. We had Mild Butter Chicken, Medium Butter Chicken, Chicken Saag & Lamb Saag with Garlic & plain Naan. The naan bread was freshly cooked & thinner than we had at other restaurant which made it crunchy but soft. The Price was very reasonable for Lunch which included naan bread with an average of $10 per person. We will definitely visit the restaurant again.
Ashish Khttri
Like the service and food.. but sometime their sitting arrangements are not so good. Chef is great though without any doubts! I would highly recommend if somebody looking for nice food this is the place
Mighty Will
This is the best Indian food in town. Had the prawn briyani, chicken fried rice (for the kids), mixed platter for entrée (highly recommend). The garlic naan is also best I've had. Its a bit sweet, but I like it. Service was so great too, probably a bit too much actually. We'll definitely be back for more.

Weekend dinner and very unprofessional management, cant manage walkin for 3 people. Felt like we hav been thrown away without considering for any option for being seated. Asked to hav dinner in 20mins or just leave as all tables are booked, when clearly there are 2 table left for dinning. Managed to take away, poor quality and overrated and baised customer service.
Goblin
Recently went back - Three curries were all bland and disappointing. Maybe they have become too popular

We have been going to this restaurant since it was a tiny little take away shop. The lunch special is very reasonable. I think they are the best Indian restaurant in Lower Hutt/Petone.
Sujatha Bhumireddy
I have been to Chilli Masala a couple of times with my spouse to experience the taste of the best (overly rated and untrue) Indian food in the town. I was disappointed the first time as the food was not delicious. I convinced my spouse to visit again and give it a try, only to be disappointed with the never improved taste. This time I ordered 1 vegetarian and 1 non-vegetarian curry. Unfortunately, the food was much worse in taste than the first time. The service was poor and the staff seem to have some problems with Indians visiting the restaurant. I am sorry to say that the staff are keen to attend the non-desi customers, please experience it yourself if you think I am biased. Needless to say we will neither go there again nor recommend any.

Used to be a regular goer, specially dine in. This is my first ever review to any food place coz I am an ex hospo professional I know things go wrong at times but you can fix it before customer steps out unhappy. I have downloaded the app just to write this review, honestly, Todays dinner was my worst dining experience ever in any restaurant. Food quality has gone down big time, service used to be average, but today, I made the biggest mistake as I took a group of 12 on a very special occasion, the restaurant happily accepted our booking for 9pm and said pre order entrée which we did 20 minutes before reaching, ok we understand. Upon reaching order was taken for mains and was told 30 35 minutes coz of a dish from the order, ok. Entree was served in time however, Almost 55 minutes, no one checked or informed about delay in mains. It was a complete mess n huge embarrassment for me as a host. On top of this the manager or owner took the full bill payment and just said sorry for the delay. No knowledge of customer service, neither food service. Thank you for the great experience, will not be returning for sure!!!!!!
Priyadarshini Kulkarni
We are, actually now we were, a very regular customers for the variety and good taste they offered. However we went there as a group today and received a really poor service. We were first asked to order the starters over the phone before we arrive. Order for mains was taken as we arrived. (Waitress was not aware of what MSG or aginomoto is). After the starters were finished, we were told that mains will be another 25min. However after waiting for 45min when we asked we were told that it will be another 6 to 7min. Then the food on the table was incomplete. I got the shezwan noodles which we started eating as we were starving, but the chilli paneer gravy was not bought till I finished my noodles. Same happened with my other friends on the table. After all the mess there was no apology from the owners neither anything was done to fix the mistake. The way this situation was handeled was very unprofessional. (Waitress was arguing instead of apologising). Absolutely spoiled the evening.
Eating My Way Around
Seems to be a popular and well liked local Indian so I would recommend booking in the weekend to avoid disappointment. Food was flavourful and not over spiced. I ordered butter prawns for main but the gravy was think and tomatoey instead of creamy, wondering if there was a mixup. Didnt mind so much as it was still delish. Marked down for portion size, especially for the price.
Rajat Goyal
Extremely poor service. Waited for more than 45 mins for our food and it turned putto be average. There is a lot of hype around the restaurant but I couldn't see why. The place is highly under staffed. The staff were running around having a hard time keeping up with the tables. Wouldn't recommend the place if you are extremely hungry as you might have a millennial wait to sit through for your food.
Keertika Bhatt
We regularly go here for lunches and dinners and we really like the place. Love the ambiance, lovely staff and of course, the food :)
The thing that I recommend the most is the chicken pepper curry, thats like my favorite and I almost always order that.
Rosie
Can't really fault, the only problem I would point out with my dish was the fact that I got more 'sauce' than I did meat (but that's a typical Indian dish anyway). Good food with nice flavours wasn't too spicy nor too mild which was nice. Haven't had a meal sitting down yet which i would like to try next time. Take away portions are decently sized.
Wendy M
My friends and I go here on a regular basis for lunch and it is simply delicious. Lamb is always tender and the naan is amazing. Staff are friendly, restaurant is lovely and the lunch special is very well-priced. Highly recommended.
Pramod Tailor
Good food and music but terrible customer service. After entree arrived the waitress continuously nagged us about ordering the mains while we were clearly eating starters. Came up to the table 4-5 times to ask which became very frustrating. After starters were done, waitress took half the plates, went to another table and took 10 minutes to come back to take the rest of the plates.

Coming from India, I find it hard to appreciate Kiwi Indian restaurants. Chilli Masala, thankfully, stands apart.
Give the south indian and bombay chinese cuisines a definite try (their masala dosa and veg manchuria are as authentic as they can get).

I'm not a big fan of their rice dishes, but their curries are better than the other lot in the Wellington region. And with very reasonable pricing for lunch specials, it's hard to resist trying them out.

That being said, although their waiting staff are polite and composed, their ambience isn't the best you could ask for. Not an ideal date restaurant. But if you're foodies, does that really matter?
Mike White
Yummy one of the best eating experience I have had with Indian food the staff were nice and friendly and the food is 10/10 I will be returning .
Berg Nodder
I used to love this place as it was authentic as it gets in lower hutt but since it has remodeled it has really turned to the dogs. I had an amazing curry a few months ago and have gone back twice hoping it would be as good and tonight was the worst I've ever tasted. No flavor at all,I've had to lash it with salt to make it taste like something and the garlic naan is very bland as well. Will not return
Kate Thompson
Had dinner here. The service was fast and friendly. Food was delicious!!! We were so happy with our food we took the leftovers home which we never do. Best garlic naan I've ever had. The place itself was very clean and had a nice atmosphere. Would definitely recommend this place.
One Way
Had lunch here. First time in this place cuz of friend's recommend.
Clean dinning room with a waiter in suit. Glasses on hanger were very clean. Counter was so organised. Feeling respected. The kitchen is half open. We can see what Inside is. All the chefs wearing high hat with clean chef uniform. Clean equipments, celling and all surfaces. Giving me a feeling their food is guarantied at good hygienic condition.
Mango chicken, with naan and rogan josh (lamb) were what I order. Waiting time is a little bit longer than what I expect but because of this nice food, I was happy to wait for it.
It was Fresh everything. We were quit enjoyed

Only thing I don't feel great is the interior fit out or I would say interior design that gives me cold feeling. I mean the atmosphere is a little bit cold feeling. But this is only my personal opinion
Muffin Mum
Met friends here for dinner. They had had take away from here many times but never eaten in. We enjoyed our meal and it was good average Kiwi Indian food. The restaurant itself was very busy and there were many pick ups for take away. It is a very loud open space and wasn't the warmest, I could have easily sat with my coat on.
The food was good, nothing flash, just good. The mixed starter was the highlight and was huge. We all particularly enjoyed eating our way through it.
The mains were good, nothing to write home about and the same for the naan.
I would return and we will defiantly go back for lunch one day.
Defiantly falls in the give it another try category.
Adarsh Jupudi
The Biryani has been consistently good over the last 8 months. There has been a change in the taste and I hope it will be as good as it was over the last few months. I have never eaten anything else here though.
Foodie Mallu
I once accidentally had a chance to have food from here . It was a horror to my taste buds. D chicken biriyani was terrible.so was d lamb seekh. Wen we had asked den to make d dish spicy , dey just added ginger paste without even adding salt . It was d worst ever fud experience I had in NZ till date.
PeterMS
This is an excellent restaurant. Chilli Masala is now a licensed restaurant with enhanced modern premises. The photos accompanying the prior entry are no longer current.

I have purchased great takeaway here several times, but today my wife and I had a really great lunch in the restaurant. The chicken tikka and tandoori were the best we have had in years. Then some great kedai vegetables and a very good Kerala lamb stew. The naan was really good.

My wife and I unhesitatingly recommend Chilli Masala, something we rarely do.

We visited again on 16 Oct 2014 and had another good meal. The service was pleasant and efficient.

The okra (bhindi) was excellent, as was the Garlic Naan and the Kerala Stew.

6 Nov We had takeaway for lunch, beautiful Lamb Keema Dosa a lovely light dish. This was followed with lovely Chicken Saag and Bombay Aloo.
Jessica Lane
This former takeaway has recently expanded to full restaurant service. We had never tried their takeaways before but there was a steady stream of pickups while we were there and many seemed to be regulars which is a good sign. The restaurant has been decorated in a very modern style, it is very clean and attractive. The service was excellent, more formal than one might expect which was a nice touch. The food is top notch. We had the Chicken Pasanda, Bhuna Chicken and Lamb Korma and all were excellent with very good quality meats used. Servings were very generous. We have since been back three more times and the quality is consistant. Definitely a great choice for Indian food in the Hutt.
Lin
Lovely friendly staff and great food. Best Samoosas. Wish they did a meat one.

Only negative is that the charge a lot for a delivery even though there is a minimum order as well
Vidhya
I am never disappointed with the food from Chilli Masala as the dishes are always consistent and they offer not only your standard Indian menu but also dishes outside of this. My favourite dishes come from their Indo-Chinese section of the menu which isn't available from most places in Wellington - especially their prawn and vegetarian Hakka noodles and Schezuan fried rice. Recently we tried their Chicken Biryani which was very good too. Great takeaways that can be relied on when having people over too (as they deliver). All topped up with friendly staff!!!
Melissa
Me and my partner frequent Chilli Masala regularly. We have tried most of the food on the menu. The staff are super friendly and i have told many of my friends about your restaurant. Food is very good. =)
Amanda
My friend recommended this restaurant...It was yummy thankyou :) Best samosa ever actually had filling, everything was sooo yummy! I will definitely tell people about your restaurant! Chicken tandori excellent...I have been to many Indian restaurants and this is by far the best :)
Srikanth Dhondi
This is a small take away place although there is an option to seat.

I was there couple of days ago. Ordered Chicken Dum Biryani. Knowing very well what a good biryani should taste like, I was pleasantly surprised by authenticity of the food. The staff are friendly, nice people. I will go back there again!

Bottom-line:

Very good food. Friendly staff. Authentic.
Jessie
Chilli Masala is our favourite takeaway place, not just because of the superb food (the best butter prawns ever!) but also because of the amazingly happy and friendly staff. Keep it up guys! You are doing an amazing job.
Ramila Patel
i use chilli masala as my regular takeaway because, because i am a business owner, sometime get busy, no time to cook but i can still have my Indian food at the taste i want, you ask how you like they will make it for you the way you like, so, you will never be disappointed. i like the dishes they make for us as nice and spicy as we like, i give them a time to pick up and it's nice and hot just from the cooker, i will specially recommend to try their garlic nan my favourite from this place
RL
Not impressed with the vegeterian meal I had for lunch takeaways. I ordered a Vegetable Korma and it doesn't deserve to be called that.
There was no flavour to the sauce which was a pale white yellow colour, and the vegetables included were peas, carrots and beans - from the freezer as I could tell by their shape/cut. Nothing fershly made about this meal, a total disapointment and will not eat there again.
Harprit
Got my dinner from here today. The chicken tikka masala was mind blowing and the lamb rogan josh was good too. Service was excellent. Clean little place. Will definitely come back again, havent had so good indian food in a long time. Keep it up!!
Stephanie Isaac
Great wholesome and comforting food. Great service too as the owners are very friendly! This little restaurant is always on my list of top takeaways! I especially love their IndoChinese dishes and the Chicken Saag is amazing! It's a small restaurant but a very good one. =)
Amber Tam
I go here regularly, and am usually not a huge fan of indian food, their food is fantastic and I love the Tikka Masala. Also they do half and full sizes which is very handy. Friendly and fast service and a very tidy store.

It was delicious dinner. I had prawn masala it had no much oil and the spices were excellent. I would love to again go their. It is small place but get the best service.

I ordered chicken Biriyani with indian hot. He just added more chilli powder to a already prepared dish to make it hot. its not the way to prepare dish. It just ruined the flavours of the dish the only thing my tongue & my stomach felt s chilli powder. I am very disappointed not going back again
