Review Coco Kai Cafe - Lower Hutt

Delicious food, and great service. Respected my dietary requirement and remade one of the burgers which had bacon in it. Would recommend coming here!

Really enjoyed everything I ordered. Had a beef burger, pork burger, butter chicken and kids cheese. No complaints from anyone. Burgers were fresh and homemade. Beer burger had a very slight Oriental taste which I really enjoyed. Chips would have been amazing if I lived closer but I still liked them. Burgers are a little messy for bed eating but totally worth it. 😂 Going to work my way through this menu.

Very yum, and great value food. Will happily return to work through the menu. Decor is an interesting mix of Burger King seating and tiles, with pictures on the walls of Bob Marley and The Joker - certainly unique.

Tasty and fast food! Came for the burgers and will come again for the Indian dishes I saw on the menu. Interesting place with a fusion of flavours and cuisine. The burger did have a yummy Indian-spice dressing, I liked it. Interior decor is basic but does the job - has potential and is a nice big bright space. Friendly staff.

I was HANGRY so ordered the tower burger & ribs. Not HANGRY anymore. My vanilla shake was superb; the ribs melt-in-the-mouth tender; and the burger so huge I ate it twice! The staff were very friendly & attentive. Will be going back to dine in :-)

Amazing Kerala Indian style food! Kasava and pork and butter chicken was amazing! Was told next time to try their pork belly burger which I am so excited about when I pop around next time! Thank you so much for the goods!!! Definitely coming back again!

Excellent, outstanding burgers. My son and I had the beef burger and the fried fish burger. The fish was a massive slab of delicious, very fresh hoki. Their homemade sauce is outstanding. The burger price it turns out included fries and salad. The fries had this delicious seasoning. Definitely going back here.

This place exceeded my expectations. Mainly because I didn't have any. The food was delish though and reasonably priced. Definitely a must for first dates or to bring your wife and her boyfriend.

This will be approximately the 10th time of going to Coco Kai and delicious everytime! Fantastic food and really nice staff. Catering for all occasions. So cool to have a place like this in Lower Hutt.

If you are Tandoori fan, you must try this, Authentic South Indian test with whole spice aroma. Price was very reasonable for quantity Very satisfied…

The Coco tower is all the burger a man could ever want. Tender, Juicy meat, delicious fried chicken, a splash of mango and some great sauce. Might have to be Tower burger thursday from here on out... Chips are great too.

Have ordered multiple times from here, and have been absolutely impressed by each dish. The philly cheese steak was by far one of the best I've had in wellington, along with the carbonara being super creamy! I ordered a seperate time and got the pork belly burger, and my god it's incredible, super messy but what good burger isn't! The fries were well seasoned and delicious. I'd recommend this to anyone any day. Keep up the good work Coco Kai team!

I discovered this cafe on google with good reviews and a great looking menu. However when I arrived I noticed they were different owners and also had a different menu. (The cafe was empty at 1pm).<br/><br/>I ordered Eggs Beni. When the food arrived My beni was served on muffins. The bacon was really bitter because it was burnt and really oily and my pouched eggs were very over cooked as my yolk was hard. The hollandaise sauce tasted like sour plastic. What on earth was going on?!

The best place for burgers in the Hutt, I also highly rate their ribs and roti wraps (no kidding best roti bread I've ever had, they make it themselves). Such nice people always happy to have a chat. Super friendly service. If you thought you'd head to Burger King across the road, don't bother - CocoKai is 1000% better.

Amazing food always. Can’t say a bad thing about the place. You definitely need to go try it there if you haven’t already. My favourite place to eat.

Remembered some good reviews and posts of Coco Kai Cafe in Lower Hutt so decided to stop here, now the menu wasn’t jumping at me, it was mainly ribs, burgers, salads, and pastas, so we settled on burgers Shane’s well the name was something like, beef,chicken, pork bacon egg .....burger, think it was the Tower Burger it looked amazing and tasted  awesome according to my husband, I just got a fish burger but check these pics out <br/><br/>And yes that’s a knife hiding Shane’s burger together,<br/>the place is quite tiny but has a welcomed feeling to it, the service was great he was a very nice friendly man, even welcomed us with a free plate or fries i forgot the name of them curly or crinkle but they were definately good, and ill definitely go back

Menu food is delicious. If you get the hot wings go spicy AMAZING. The bang bang chicken is served on a hot plate. The sauces and spices are home made which puts a nice twist on the meals. Great prices. Only down side is there are no toilets and will need to ask Hells Pizza to use the toilets.

BEST milkshakes. Awesome burgers chips and ribs. Looking forward to trying more on the menu 😁<br/><br/>The staff are great and the wait is never to long, highly recommend.

Coco Kai when they first opened I had to go & check it & OMG amazing choice ! Food is amazing RIBS man to die for!! Great customer service, service the dude is top man!! Took my kids in & they loved it too ! Visit this place often will continue as well 😁

I was HANGRY so ordered the tower burger; ribs; and vanilla shake. <br/><br/>Not HANGRY anymore. <br/><br/>My vanilla shake was superb - cold & flavoursome - I just wish there was twice as much! <br/><br/>The ribs were fall off the bone, melt-in-the-mouth tender with a very tasty sweet sauce - and they are huge! <br/><br/>The burger so huge it has to be held together with a skewer - two meat patties, bacon & egg, chicken fillet & pork belly all in the one burger with minimal salad. I ate it twice! <br/><br/>The staff were very friendly & attentive. <br/><br/>Will be going back to dine in - so many other things to try :-)

The food is really good! Have one of the biggest burgers I've ever seen! The Coco Tower! <br/>Place is small but not too busy. Can get really hot when the sun hits that window.<br/>Parking isn't the best but then the food is awesome!
