My mother always says 'precious things come in small packages'. That describes Alicetown Espresso exactly. What it lacks in size, it more than makes up for with fantastic hot beverages, a delicious selection of sweet and savoury foods, a cooler-full of cold drinks, and lots of heart.

The Espresso shops are all same same but different. Same great coffee and food at each one with a slightly different vibe. Love dropping into this one after dropping the kids at school due to a fantastic location. Highly recommend!

Discovered this wee gem while working in the area and looking for a good coffee. Not only did we find awesome coffee, but awesome tasty food and amazingly awesome super friendly staff. We visit every time we are passing and go out of our way to come here.. it really is that good.

Popped in for coffee and a snack. Had the chicken toastie and was superb. Great coffee and friendly staff. Next time I’m driving past Alicetown, ill pop in.

Fantastic food and service. Pandoro brand is unbeatable, for a petite cafe they have an incredible range of food. A weekend favourite for sure. Probably one of the best cafes in Wellington. Highly recommend.

Efficiency, quality and service, they know how to do this. Easily best coffee in Lower Hutt, front runner across Wellington region. Whenever I shout a work colleague a coffee, after they taste it they're like "Daaaim! Where'd you get this?!" 🤯

We have been coming here a few times a week for the last three months and we have a great experience every time. The service is always quick and friendly. My husband loves the coffee, I love the chai latte and the mint hot chocolate! Highly recommend!

The fact that they were still serving groups of customers something non-essential after a lockdown was announced is appalling.

This is a regular for me. There have been changes over time including a change of ownership. I have always found the staff to be very friendly, the coffee good, and a wide range of food.

Been here several times and never had an issue.  Dropped in on Saturday, went out of my way to go.There was one person ordering coffee when I went in, they placed their order, staff member chatted to them and started to make coffees, I was waiting at the counter.  Staff memeber did not say a word to me, despite looking right at me.  Continuted to make coffee and ingore me, not even a hello, just be a second.  2nd staff member appeared from out the back, looked at me, turned their back on me to wash their hands. Then turned around and just stood back from the counter watching me.  I asked if anyone was going to serve me, and I got no answer.  I waited a few seconds, I asked if they were always that rude and walked out.  Other customer in the shop said 'good on you' as I left. I will never go out of my way to visit there again.

Great little cafe, with good cabinet food to eat in or takeaway. Good prices, friendly staff. Small fenced in area to the side with 3 small table settings.👍

Walking past we decided to stop in for a quick coffee. The drinks menu was good and we ended up getting an iced coffee (so good that it was finished before we reached the end of the road) and a flat white (savored). There was also a good range of food including fresh breads and salads. At first Glance I though there were only the two small tables out the front however there is a sheltered area beside the shop.

Delicious coffee with speedy and friendly service. Great food selection which I'll stop by to get one of these days! It's very handy on the way to work.

This is a find in the coffee desert that is otherwise Alicetown. A little gem both figuratively and physically. Recommended if you find yourself needing coffee in this part of the Hutt.

The coffee is terrific, the food is really nice, but its the staff that makes this place a real gem!! <br/><br/>Last Sunday, my wife and I popped down for a coffee. Unfortunately we were 25mins early, so they weren't set up for the day. The stools were still up, the bread wasn't unpacked, so we turned around to walk home. As we walked away, the staff yelled out to us to come back. They were more than happy to serve us. I wanted to share this story because its typical of the excellent customer service you always get at Alicetown Espresso.

Awesome friendly service. Great Coffee. It is great to support the local provider. Good to see they are increasing their capacity to get coffee out quicker. All food looks and smells amazing. Hope they are doing a roaring trade and stay in business.
