Review Ichiban Asian Fastfoods - Lower Hutt

I just want to say that we absolutely loved our food from here tonight! So delicious. It was the first time we ordered from here and the closest to authentic that we have tried in the Hutt. Well worth the price and the flavours are just scrumptious. I ordered takeaway and unfortunately got there late. The two workers were so lovely and accommodating. Will definitely be returning.... so yummyyyyyyyy. Thank you so much for an amazing dinner after a long day. Definitely recommend this place!

Went out as a big group 11 adults, 1 teen, 2 toddlers. There were only 2 staffs. I could not give more praise to those 2, who has to make 1 dozen plus dishes. Even with other customers as well. I felt bad honestly. It took a while to prepare the food, which is understandable, but they still delivered with great quality dishes. Would not recommend going out here in such big group just to not stressed this folks out, BUT would recommend this place to anyone who wants to try out Asian dishes. 4.6 would come back here again. 5/5 for the service.

Good tasty food @ reasonable prices. Great selection on menu for either small or large meals. Quick and friendly service from staff and owner. Give it a go, you will be pleasantly surprised.

Good Chinese food (plus other Asian styles I haven't tried), that is a bit more authentic than most Kiwi Chinese food. Reasonable prices, friendly staff. Best Asian food I have tried in Lower Hutt.

One of my favourite takeaways. A fair price for food and a large and diverse range. It gets out fast and also BYO.

Love their Beef Brisket and salted fish fried rice. Great service and cheap. This my go to fast food on a lazy day. Now that they do Uber eats,it makes more easier.😊

From cape Reinga to Invercargill. ...this is the best place I have had my takeaways from.simply the best.i'd highly recommend this place.its a must try if you stop over in Lower hutt. not a very attractive shop but the food is amazing.

There's not a dish so far I haven't loved. The hot and sour soup is amazing, for me it has a perfect balance of heat, sourness and sweetness. The beef brisket was coated in mild flavours complementing the beef, perfectly cooked rice and a large portion of bok choy. My partner loved his duck dishes, perfect duck. very happy customers. Can't wait to try them all.<br/>

Fantastic food at great prices (love the singapore noodles and sechuan style chicken). Even the sushi was great. I'm not a chinese food fan but this place rocks! Super lovely staff too

My family have been eating at this restaurant for years. Always excellent service, good food and a friendly atmosphere. The duck is the BEST in Wellington and so is the combination chow mein, fried beef & noodle, etc...YUM! <br/>Good to see they have new furniture as that would have been my only complaint.

Hands down, best Chinese I've ever had!<br/>Their duck is amazing and the sweet'n' sour pork is SO delicious.<br/>It might not look fancy, but don't be fooled, the food is great.<br/>We often go in a big group and share plates. The staff is friendly and the cooking time is fast too.<br/>Can't recommend this place enough. 👏😋

I love this please, best duck, pork belly and dumplings. I have tried so many different places for duck in Wellington and Petone and nothing compares<br/><br/>The chefs are lovely and now we go there once a week <br/>amazing :D

They make the best black bean stir fried noodles and the duck is always succulent and juicy. The service is also top.
