Amazing quality, quantity, and very reasonable prices - for really delicious food! Pop here for lunch most days and they have a great selection, plus staff are so lovely! Even called for book a last minute morning tea and they made an amazing selection for the company. Worth popping in!

A great cafe with amazing treats and pies! Only negative is there is no where to sit or even perch.

Truly selective array of delicious baked items. Well presented store and well stocked. Tried cream donuts, apricot danish, sausage roll, mince & cheese pie, sourdough bread & tiger bread. I thoroughly enjoyed the sausage roll, wasn't to thick with pastry & tasted well. Mince in the pie was flavourable. Donut & danish 👍. I've heard stories about their sourdough bread & it went down a treat.

Wow!!!!! I just ate the best donut of my life! This place is spectacular. The prices are very fair and everything I've tried has been amazing.

Stumbled on this most excellent bakery by chance in need of a quick fix of on the go lunch. Was totally surprised to find such a hidden gem of baked goods in the far reaches of Southern Lower Hutt. Hyperbole over, it looked amazing. Truthfully. I only had time to buy 2 fairly reasonably priced press but will come back. The pies were tasty, chocker of meat and filling, in nice pastry, and very good.

Cannot get enough of this place and their amazing food! The toasties are a favourite of mine, sooooo good. VERY well priced too, keeps me coming back. Super friendly staff and short wait times despite them being super busy all the time.

Steak and Cheese pie plus sausage roll was very tasty. No designated bicycle parking nearby. Car park and street was clogged so I'm glad to have cycled. They also have paywave.

Best pie in Wellington! Not too salty as other pies and very delicious with the rich stuffing. Buying one steak & mushroom pie as breakfast then going to the riverbank market has already been a Saturday routine!

Award winning bakery in the Hutt, the donuts and pies are a sure bet. My vote's still on Daily Bread's Lamingtons.

I ordered two pepper 🥩 and 🧀 pies. I enjoyed. Would like them to be extra peppery. Seemed a bit light. 4/5

Food is amazing, however I’m afraid the coffee was very mediocre. Would normally give a four star rating on balance but given the very high ratings have indicated three stars to help out anyone who particularly likes coffee with their fresh baked goods. (Edit): Appreciated the quick response and eagerness to improve - have bumped to 4 stars. Judging by previous reviews I’m guessing the barista was having an off day or it wasn’t very experienced compared to other baristas at the same place.

Quick service during busy lunch period. Bought a couple of pies both were great with a perfect portion of meat to gravy/sauce.

Awesome steak and cheese pies, they're $6 but I'd definitely pay that again. Yummy dounuts and different cake options.

Don't visit if you are dieting. I have not as yet managed to eat my way through the goods. I purchase my bread weekly and get tempted with the cabinet food, the range is astonishing. Whether you have a sweet tooth or prefer savoury it's all there. Suggest a visit, you will not be disappointed

Whenever I shop at Mad Butchers which is once a week. I always pop into Federation to buy their White Chocolate & Raspberry Brownie. They are the best brownies EVER!! plus their Sour Cream & Bacon Potato salad is AMAZING! and not only that their coffee are awesome too.

This Sour Dough Fruit loaf Is great for sensitive tummy's With walnuts,peel and sultanas I prefer it cold spread with butter Thanks Highly Recommend HUGE donuts! Yum!

One of the Wellington regions best bakeries with excellent filled French rolls, ficelle, amazing pies, patisserie and other cakes. The flat white was also excellent

Delicious pies with fluffy pastry. Awesome baguettes and sour dough. Excellent hot cross buns during Easter.

The first thing you notice when you walk into Fix Federation is how amazing the cabinets look fully stocked with delicious food. I've tried a range of items here and can personally testify to the deliciousness of their: toasties, pies, meringues, sour dough bread, Belgian biscuits, salted caramel cookies, slices and of course the legendary DONUTS.The biggest problem with this place is only coming out with what you went in for. It's inevitable you will end up grabbing a whole bunch more.

They have a lollycake donut which is absolutely genius! Sold out on my visit so I opted for the salted caramel & oreo. It was good but not as good as the lollycake would have been. All the slices looked spectacular, as did the giant cookies and artisan breads. I will definitely be back for lollycake donuts, pies, breads and all the rest. Oh and the staff are all super friendly.

One of the best bakeries to grab a treat in the Hutt by far. The stars are the gorgeous, massive donuts for sure! They have a variety of other sweet treats like cookies, caramel slice, salted caramel brownies etc, and a full cabinet of savoury foods too like filled rolls, salads, and pies. Everything is super fresh and delicious. The small shop is mainly designed for takeaways but there is a place to sit in front of the window to enjoy a coffee if you like, it's a nice bright little place. Friendly staff too. I like to hop off the riverbank path to grab morning tea on my way to or from the riverbank market on a Saturday.
