Honestly some of the creamiest and best Butter Chicken and Garlic Naan I’ve had in the whole of Wellington! I asked for Mild with a little bit of spice and they gave me a medium and it was perfect! Had to order again as soon as I tasted it for my partner because he loved it that much and likes it spicier!

Omg the food is so yummy.i always go here to get my takeaways.The owner Tara makes my favourite paneer makhani and my kids love his butter chicken. He always serves with a smile and caters for your tastes. Such a lovely family owned store in Waterloo. I highly recommend this takeaway place for a great and decently priced, Indian food.

The best curries, mango lassi and nan bread, ever. Really friendly staff and good prices. Fantastic service tops it off. Have tried their butter chicken, tikka masala, and garlic chicken tikka dishes. They do kiwi hot and indian hot curries. My fav indian takeaway.

I used to come here when it opened but I moved away. Went back last night after 5 years and it is even more delicious than I remembered! I will now go out of my way to come back even though I'm no longer local. It is worth the trip for sure!

Have been going to curry star for over 6 years, it is my go-to curry. I stayed in Melbourne recently and could not find one curry place that was as good as curry star. They will be the first place i go after lockdown. Best butter chicken and naan i have ever had!!

Best curry around - tender juicy meat dishes, beautiful flavours and half portions available. Also complimentary rice and cheap prices! More like $35 for two than $50.
