The food here is delicious. There's lots of variety and the price is reasonable. The lady on the front counter is efficient and friendly. We are thrilled that they're now also on uber eats. Recommend the lamb roast with crackling, Love the roast potatoes as well.

The older lady is quite rude she might want to greet her customers with a smile too she looks angry all the time. Lucky I love there lamb roast I would take my business else where otherwise. Poor customer service that's for sure. Better watch out if there's another local roast place I'm gone..lol

Delicious! Going directly to them is much cheaper than going through uber however as uber add extra costs to the meals before the delivery and service fees.

For a first time experience visiting this place totally your moneys worth for what you paid for dining in. We ordered the large roast meal $18 they did not disappoint generous amount of meat, chicken, pork, lamb. We ordered pork it was moist not dry and the veges we're yum service was friendly I recommend this place if your looking for comfort food.

Great. Don’t go through Über though, go straight to them. Über adds $5 per meal before you even add a delivery charge. Good kai and sizeable portions.

They offer roast meals, pork, lamb, beef and chicken with roast potatoes, kumera, pumpkin together with beans and carrots with gravy, and apple sauce for pork. Their small meal is $14.00 (April 23) with beef an additional 50c. I get one as a takeaway every couple of weeks or so. The small roast meal is value for money, tasty and plenty for most adults. The only time I have had their roast meat in a long roll I was very disappointed with the size of what I received. They have a few tables for eating in.

That's a straight up 5 stars from me. Not only for the delicious lamb that melts in your mouth, and the plentiful quality vege, but also to the beautiful people who create these meals. They don't need 11 different herbs and spices. Their secret ingredient? Love. It's also better than my Mum's roast but DO NOT TELL HER THAT. Thank you so, so very much x Sarah.

Great roast place, not far from our overnight hotel. Good size to fill our tummies with meat and vegetables. Go try them, just a few minutes from airport, when in Wellington. 😀

Don't sleep on these guys, they never miss! People don't mention this enough, the gravy is on point! Perfect amount, consistency and flavor every single time! Crispy af Kumara and potatoes everytime and the meat always slaps. Also I have a tip of value if you made it this far through the review, these guys are significantly cheaper on Doordash than all the other food delivery platforms, you're welcome. 😁

Best roast in Wellington, lamb always sooo moist and delicious! Would recommend to everyone, such friendly staff and worth the price for the portion you get :)

Been here a few times and been happy each time. Meats are great, especially the Lamb. It's a nice takeaway option that isn't loaded with grease.

I’ve had their lamb roasts a couple of times and they’re really good for what they are and I think prices suit the size. Have had the apple crumble once and think you’d be better off buying one from the supermarket and whipping your own cream though. Will definitely come back here for their lamb.

I've don't usually give reviews and never have used zomato before, but I'm motivated to support this shop because the roast is the best I've ever eaten.  I'm extremely fussy with my meat and which is why I don't usually eat out, frustrated with dry and over cooked meat even in restaurants. This friendly Asian family have some secret that I can't work out because I cannot cook the lamb the way they do it, moist and melts in your mouth. I've been eating here for about a year now, usually about once a week, and they're very consistent. Sometimes the potatoes aren't as hot as they could be, but they're delish. I've also had the chicken, which is just as amazing. I've tried every roast shop in welly and this is easily the best, they claim on their window best roast in town and they're bang on with that plug. The gravy is also excellent. The decor, chairs and tables, while not high class, are comfortable and adequate, but its the meat thats the winner and will keep me going back and telling people that its worth the journey.

Pleasantly surprised by here. Got a roast beef sandwich and roast spuds and my friend the roast pork meal. Both were really tasty, staff very friendly and very cheap and fast. Would definitely come again

With a lack of city roast takeaways in Wellington I decided to make the small journey out to Kilbirnie to try this out. <br/>This is your classic roast takeaways with the various cuts and vegetables in the bainmarie at the front of the shop. <br/>I'm went for the roast pork which was really moist and had the right amount of fat. The crackling was excellent. The vega were good although they do suffer quite badly on the drive home when covered with gravy, I would suggest getting the gravy in a seperate pottle. All in all a good friendly experience from this family takeaways. <br/><br/><br/>

Friendly and eager to please guy behind the counter. I asked how much chips n gravy would be and he just charged be for the chips. 2x serves of gravy free! I know it was a small thing but, I the unexpected freebie made my day!<br/>My mate ordered a roast pork meal and seemed quite happy with the portion size. Hooray for chips n gravy!!!<br/><br/>Update: ordered the small lamb meal. This box is choc a full - beans and carrot underneath. Gravy is epic, and so is the Kumara. Yum indeed!
