A good place to grab a bite on the way from Invercargill to Queenstown. The pies were delicious and you have to try their famous doughnuts too. Either strawberry and cream or caramel flavours. The do a decent coffee which comes ina unique butterfly paper cup, which is very sustainable

lovely greeting by male staff upon entering.. purchased donut each.. before we left staff member joined another team member in a board game they were playing.. donut was fresh and tasty.. good selection of cakes.. large portion sizes . would have given 5* if staff had not been more interested in his board game than customers.

Such an amazing place! Make sure to stop on you way and have some 🍩 with coffee. Owner's are very friendly and won a lot of competitions in NZ for their pies. They just moved to new location and you can find them right on main street opposite the old train station.

Great pies! Tried the pepper steak, be warned-it's spicy hot and if you love hot as I do, you'll greatly enjoy it!! Doughnuts were old fashioned delicious taste. Nice welcome, quick service. Sorry we missed the buffalo pie. Greatly recommend a stop in Lumsden to try these pies and doughnuts.

Couple behind the counter are super friendly. Lots of effort and quality in their food! We had a cream donut and a pork and mushroom pie and both were bang bang They’re also trying to cut waste and using biodegradable coffee cups which is an awesome bonus

This place has great pies with a wide selection but the real reason to visit this place is they have the best donuts in the world they are soft in the middle laden with fresh cream and raspberry jam and crunchy on the outside. An absolute must we went back the next day for more. Donuts are ready from 10am but worth the wait

We stopped in on a whim for a quick sandwich to take out. Ended up sitting by the wood stove thoroughly enjoying the best lamb pie I’ve ever had!! As we sat watching happy customers come and go we couldn’t help but notice the many comments about the fabulous donuts! There weren’t any in the display case when I inquired but he managed to find me two in the back. The caramel chocolate one was to die for! To the people of Lumsden, you are very lucky! To anyone passing through, you have to stop in!! Wayne and Debbie Vancouver BC, Canada

This bakery does top notch pies and fresh cream donuts. Had a lamb curry pie passing through one day, was disappointed it was all they had left (because they are a popular stop) but it was delicious.

You have to stop for a beefalo pie!! I just loved the peppery one. And for the coffee lovers, they have Mojo coffee which is one of the best roasters on the country. I am a coffee lover and the coffee is amazing!
