Review The Dark Horse - Mairangi Bay

Simon Upton (Simon G Upton)
Have been here a few times, good range of beer on tap and decent food. Lots of screens showing various sports channels. Had a really good steak on last visit but kitchen closed before 9pm so couldn't get a dessert. Location a bit out of the way and not much parking Update: Another good meal, got good dessert also this time and yet again great service from Jessie (sp?), so natural and friendly

My favourite is the hot stone grill but I have tried a few others like the delicious burgers and Thai tacos. The food and service is excellent . And they have 2 nights of poker which is well run by nppl and lots of fun. (Sunday and 6pm and Monday at 7pm)

Staffs are friendly. Above average quality food also reasonable price. They do lunch special ($18.50 or $21.50 with drinks) and daily special everyday. I love their seafood/meat platter ($39.50 to share between two or three) and the Wild Buck lager (very cheap when you pop in at their Happy Hour)! It's one of my favourite place to hang out with friends after work. 👍👍

The staff were great, fast and efficient service. The food was delicious, reasonably priced and very generous servings. Highly recommend the ribs and the mixed grill.

For a pub the food here is 10/10 have tried almost everything off the menu and not one dish was disappointing. Big portions and good price. Always fresh and delicious. Great spot to watch sports and have a drink. Even during busy times like UFC staff are always very efficient.

Surprisingly good pub food. We were in Auckland down from the North and we hadn't eaten all day. I saw the sign which said Bar and Grill and thought that it couldn't be too bad. It was surprisingly good food. It is a bar, so no ambience unless you like that, but the food was really good. I had a hamburger and chips. The hamburger was huge! The meat was very good. My husband had venison sliders which he loved. We also enjoyed a pint of cider. All in all a good place to grab lunch or dinner.

First visit here. Hopeless table service, had to order at the bar. However the food certainly made up for it, it was delicious and the meals were very large. Entree calamari was easily a main meal size. Spicy crumbed chicken Burger was also massive with 2 breasts, huge onion rings and bacon etc. I couldn't finish my meal. Super full. Def would visit again.

Had butter fried prawns and chicken bites(nip) . Food could have been better

Decent food and good size portions. The steak fries are a little underwhelming and food can take a while to arrive. Not much parking available and need to order food at counter. The stone grill food options are pretty cool.

Easy parking and good place to meeting, drinking, the food is also very good. Price is reasonable plus the staff are friendly as well. I am highly recommend this place. VH

I enjoyed the beef burger, it was quite big size. The chicken burger was a bit spicy. I also enjoyed the wild buck lager. The prices are reasonable!

Staff are extremely friendly and the service has always been second to none. Whenever there is an issue (which isnt often) it is sorted instantly, apologetically and with the minimum of fuss. Great food and atmosphere at an extremely good price point.

Recently went their with a girlfriend after finding most places were closed late at night. Expected low quality bar food and service (especially from the reviews I saw) but was pleasantly surprised by good service and really nice tacos and fries. So good (though it gets a bit messy and leaks as you eat them) that I had cravings for their chicken tacos again. I returned with family and there were like 6 of us and though we were the only family there, the staff were again really friendly and accomodating. The sizes and quality of their food felt quite generous. We ordered food to share and I especially enjoyed the tacos (again), criss cross fries (i get excited whenever I see restaurants serving this), nachos (SO generous packed full of meat and salsa) and ribs (not the best, but still above-average). Had a pleasant night. Think I will be back.

Had my birthday dinner here last year, and all i can say is that it was so bad. Me and my friend legit were so disgusted. The service was bad and definitely not somewhere i would come back to. Had to cook my own meat on a slab of stone and it took so long to get there. not happy

Only went here because I saw it in the Entertainment Book. However they refused to let me use the voucher. There is a sign in their menus which I saw, but after you sit down with 2 hungry kids it is too late to get up and find another restaurant that is in the Entertainment book. There is nothing on their website about not being able to use the Entertainment Book voucher. Food was okay.

There has been a major slip in the standard. Dark Horse used to be one of my favourite go to places for steak and beer, but that's all changed now. The food tastes very different compared to the past, especially the buffalo wings! If you've had it in the past you'll know what I mean; won't be ordering that anymore. Also the staff takes forever to just come and take our order, better yet, give the menu... Staff have never been friendly but now even the food quality seems to have slipped.

Having $20 steak special on Mondays becoming my routine. Staff are friendly and attentive too. I like how they have TAB on the side you can enjoy drinks and pool table as well.
Gareth Neilson
Probably ok to catch up for a quick after work beer with a few mates but wouldnt stay for more than one. No staff clearing tables after guests leave, just chatting behind the bar. Average beer selection.
Erica Jiang
The salad was not event fresh. Quality was not event comparable with Tanks Salad. Not recommended at all. Likely short of staff, services was ok. But waiting time for the food was ... Too long.

I don't even wants to eat my order.

Walked in and was not greeted or informed that the restaurant kitchen was closed. The waitress and the guy behind the bar looked pissed off. They noticed us when we walked in and saw us sat down however did not approach. The place was dead empty apart from 2 table outside that was occupied. Service is poor even when the place it’s empty.

Amazing $20 deal on a Monday. This sirloin steak on a hot stone, hot stone is an awesome idea to prevent the chefs over or under doing steak. I came here a couple weeks ago by myself and the staff were super lovely, went out of their way to make sure everything was all good and to see if I needed anything else. So awesome that I brought my partner here Monday just gone and we both loved it! Beautiful set up. Great food. Amazing service 👍🏼

Went there for the 2 for 1 stone grill Monday. Like it~~ Apart from we were only told that you have to purchase a drink to get the deal when we get there, non of us drinks and there isn't alot of non alcoholic choices.

Relaxed atmosphere to catch up with friends. Close to the motorway.

Lovely place to eat, stone grill is always an adventure and it is done really well.
I have been here multiple times and always received excellent service - particularly from John who is very friendly and on to it.
Definitely coming back!
Michelle
The food and service we received for lunch was of a standard we just didn't expect from a sports bar. The prawn salad was light and refreshing, as for the lamb shanks with garlic mash and veg - hearty food at its best 😏. Portions sizes for main meals were generous. Staff were kind and attentive. A partioned corner of the facility provides a tad more privacy when dining in; the noise, on the other hand, is what you'd typically expect at a sports bar. We had a good view of Valerie Adams' throw at the Rio Olympics on TV, awesome food and our fave drinks at the ready - need i say more?
Peter Mathis
A typically sports bar, good place to go and watch races & games.
The kitchen was surprisingly good, didn't expect this good quality. Good size of portion, sirloin steak exactly medium as ordered. Fries nice crispy & golden brown. Yummy was the dessert, deep fried banana with vanilla & chocolate ice cream. We defiantly didn't leave hungry.

Went here for a quiz night
Such friendly staff and delicious bar snacks!
Ordered ale + apple cider along with a bowl of wedges and we thoroughly enjoyed it!
From the bar snacks we can only imagine the food from the main menu being just as good
We will definitely pay a visit !

Went here for a nice family night out with my mum and brother, food was good. Service at the bar was great. But at the Tab terminal the service was shocking the lady was so un polite and made me feel so un comfortable, she didn't greet me or even smile, when asked any questions her replies were so aggressive. Then at 8 o'clock she told me she's shutting tab down while me and others were still betting. 8 clock on a Friday night I wasn't impressed.

As a frequent customer of this bar on weekends when I lived in Albany, I was quite keen on a meal here during one of my rare visits to North Shore. Unfortunately this time the service was so off-putting that I certainly will not be going there again. There were 2 customers and one very sulky looking women in attendance at the bar. My presence was totally ignored and when I asked her for assistance she almost angrily walked over and flung the menus onto the table. I was almost embarrassed by this treatment and was about to accept it when I realised that I don't deserve to be treated that way when there are other establishments that have respect for their customers. I then told her that it's okay and I'd go elsewhere as I'm obviously not wanted here. I took the name of the duty manager as the lady had no name badge, and went on to have a thoroughly enjoyable meal with excellent service at Nandos.

Celebrated my mums birthday there and it was awesome! The food was on point and the burgers are massive!!! Def worth my money and we'll be back! Great service too 😌 (quiz night was also interesting)

First time here. Had the steak on the hot stone. It was lovely. Staff friendly and attentive service v.good. Chips were old and either overcooked or twice cooked. Couldnt eat them. I would have put the salad seperate to hot stone to be honest. Not a usual place to chose to eat with kids but good price food deals.
Toru Tres
Great choices of beer. From locals to Asahi, budva, etc. Noisy crowd as always, TAB here and I wish it is not... but good food availanle as well.
Yasmine Barry
100% poor service. Food was delicious but service let the place down. Very unhappy. We got ribs and lamb shanks. Was so good except waited 30mins in an empty rest/bar and no one saw to us all night
Clint Jacka
Walked in with three..was like two staff on bar side, was Sunday and was like 2:00pmish.
So no one greeted us or asked us what we wanted, pub wasn't busy either..so went to bar to find a mess, menus spread over bar,not in a ordered fashion either.
Tried to order fish,no fish..so ordered steak, ribs and chicken burger. Tried order a bourbon and l&p..no l&p..tried coke..no coke?..said just lemonade..so went with beer and sat ourselves down.
Itsa. Pub..so the floor was sticky and gross, whole place around where we sat was dirty and sticky..food came, was good and yum..however my hot stone comes with salad in same plate, so salad started cooking from heat wilted and was warm.
There was water at bar, staff didn't bring us any?so had to get ourselves, nor did they come and ask if we wanted more drinks,so had to go bar and get..guess that's either lazy useless staff? Or how it goes in a pub?.
Service was terrible, produce availability was terrible
Staff were un friendly and terrible
Venue un clean, bar messy, floor gross..saving grace was the food, really enjoyed that and the price was good..if the rest was sorted,id certainly come back and recommend it..but as it stands, sorry..but wont be going back.
Pity because the food is good

Best ribs EVER!! Price is awesome for the amount of food you purchase. They are always have different specials for each day of the week. I've had dessert once (it was gooood) as the main fills you up well, too well!

We visited one Tuesday evening a few weeks back with my partner for dinner, only to find their kitchen has closed 2 hours early due to cost savings + quiet night - We were there at 8:20pm...

Staffs were polite and did offer their late night menu, but it was just a limited selections of bar snacks.

Disappointed and went elsewhere.

Came on a Sunday night with my daughter. Ordered the pork ribs and my daughter got the stone grill. Service was friendly, however 3 separate groups came in, sat down and ordered the Sunday roast only to be told they has a busy lunch and had no roast. One couple left and the other 2 groups did not seem pleased, Surely if your Sunday special is a roast, you make sure you have it available. My ribs when they finally came, were absolutely the worst I have ever tasted, they were a really weird texture and the sauce on them was awful, not caramelised and just tasted weird. My daughter tried them too and agreed they were inedible, I mentioned this to the waitress, however I was not offered a replacement or alternative and was charged full price for my meal. I've had ribs in plenty of restaurants and never had any close to that bad. My daughters meal was fine and her garlic mashed potatoes were divine. However we would not return here.

Full house this evening (Super Rugby Final: Hurricanes v Highlanders). No doubt a fantastic atmosphere for such a match, but service was a bit haywire.

We had two separate orders: first was our nachos and wedges to share, then after five minutes we decided to order our mains of 3 steaks + 2 chicken burgers.

We were warned that our mains will take a long time (about 45minutes), but we were happy to wait. Instead it took around 1+hour. A lady did come around to check at around 50mins after I ordered.

Our nachos and wedges which was supposed to arrive before the mains ended up arriving after we finished the mains. Defeats the whole idea of us ordering both the sides to enjoy while watching the match.

Food: 4/5
Drinks: 4/5
Service: 3/5 (judging on how they handle for a busy evening...could be improved)

Suggestions:
1. During days with big games, they should provide customers who are dining an electronic ordering device where it beeps/vibrates when an order is ready and customers can collect. At least some waitresses can help in the kitchen or something.

2. At times like this, there should be a person who solely be in charged of snacks, just to speed things up.

Other than that, good food and drinks and a great sports bar around Albany/on the Shore!
Garry Roberts
Sadly lacking atmosphere along with service, the food was served on heated paving stone so hot it was impossible to dare even touch as most likely this would have resulted in very serious burns, the meal kept cooking along with splattering patrons.
Maybe this establishment views serving meals this way to be pleasant and a gimmick for the customers but I ensure you all our table were totally put off by such a method of serving meals.
Does management consider how older aged patrons cope with such a dangerous situation as there were four patrons over 80 of age amongst our group.
The service waiter requires more training as to providing better attention as to enquiring if the patron would care for dessert nor even coffee which was sadly neglected.
Wont ever bother again with this establishment

This is a North side of the south side Celcius stone grill sports bar slash restaurant.

Quite a few locals hanging around for a feed while all the tennis and cricket is in season. In saying that, not to noisy and friendly staff too.

Stone grill you cook your own medium rare so can't really go wrong, what makes it special is their pot of port wine sauce sizzling on the stone along with your steak. This sauce goes so well not only with the steak but also my two sides that I've chosen - Portobello mushroom and garlic mash.

Proportion was bang on, it was quite rewarding after a long day of outdoor activities. Well done north side!

Went there with family to celebrate my 2 yo birthday. Seafood and steak stone grill is absolutely amazing! Kids enjoyed chicken fingers, salads and chips. Very child friendly restaurant. Will definitely come back.

We revisited the Dark Horse for the 2-for-1 stone grill Monday special last night. We had the Angus rump steak and the Dark Horse Trifecta (Chicken, Pork Fillet and Beef Rump Steak) which were both accompanied with salad and fries. The 250 grms of Angus Rump was a prime tender cut (and beautifully cooked). The Trifecta of meats were fat free and tender, and an ample quantity. With grilling the meat at the table yourself nobody can complain that it is not cooked to their liking. The staff were attentive and the service was good. As a TAB-Sports Bar-Restaurant, the clientele and related activities are diverse, but blend well together in a bustling atmosphere.

Racist staff. Asians are not welcome.

Stone grills were great, service not good at all very rude!

We went on Saturday night, booked for 7pm (6 people). We may have made a mistake by letting them know we had a grabone voucher BEFORE we ate (but we live and learn). Besides that was the first thing they asked us on arrival. The voucher entitled us to a stone grill (except for the 2 most expensive option - which is fair) and a house wine or beer, no complaints so far. The girls ordered the surf'n'turf or the Ribeye. The boys all ordered the trifecta (Pork, Chicken, Beef). My wife isn't a huge fan of fries so she asked if she could exchange the fries'n'salad for potatoes and veg (same-same you would think but No she was told the grabone was fries and salad only. Somewhat surprised this was accepted with a shrug. The food arrived after a long delay - we had already had our "free drink" and had ordered quarts for the boys and a bottle of wine for the girls (seems the delay tactic worked there) The girls got their stone grills first. A good sized thick Steak with a skewer of prawns and scallops for the surf'n'turf, And a BIG steak wrapped in bacon for my wifes Ribeye, they were well pleased, the boys were like WOW! But now the boys "trifecta" came out - seriously disappointing!! Looking at the steaks on the girls stones then back at ours was laughable - in fact the table next to us did laugh (probably at the looks on our faces of utter disbelief). Each piece of "meat" took up no more area than a standard desert spoon - so roughly three decent mouthfuls. When I questioned the waitress with "Are you serious??? we were told that each grill came with a minimum 250grams of meat, when I pointed to ours then to the girls she admitted that they did look rather small and she took my plate back to the chef. To their credit - the Chef sent out another plate each of 3 pieces of equally small pieces of meat (total now 6) so we were relatively happy with that, although still somewhat amused. For dessert we ordered the crème Brulee but after 30minutes waiting for that we gave up on it and I went to the bar to tell them it was taking to long I'll just pay the bill. The waitresses response was - "fair enough"....wtf!?My rating is low because I felt that the trifecta (same price as the others) was significantly smaller in portion size and given that Chicken and Pork is so much cheaper comparatively to Rib eye beef you might expect a better or at least equal sized portion. The service was slow - and No it wasn't a busy night, we were the only table seated when we ordered dessert, and we had to keep getting up to get our own drinks from the bar. One might expect the waitress to offer drinks when they came to clear the table.Having said that the stone grills were good - the meat was tender and the flavour was good however the salad would be better served in a side dish so it doesn't wilt against the hot stone - the chips were good (but I do wonder what the potatoes would have been like...lol)Points learned - don't tell them you have a voucher until after you have eaten maybe the service would be better. We will go back on a "normal" night to give it another go - hoping we will see an improvement.Note to the Dark Horse - If you read this - it wouldn't take much effort from you to make a big difference to the customer satisfaction - make the effort! Better service, Faster service, side plates and EQUAL portion sizes.

Have come here for both lunch & dinner. The portion sizes of the mains is quite large, you won't go hungry. The spearribs taste really good, and only took about 20 mins for food to arrive on Friday evening. Service wasn't the best, waitress didn't even look at us when showing us our table, other staff were more friendly though. Good ambiance, not too loud and many TV's for watching sport.
Trayc C
If you love steak. Hate having to specify how you want it cooked this is where you need to go!
We loved the few times we have been here, also had great service even on the busier nights. Food always comes out looking amazing and very nice sized portions.
Highly recommended for anyone who loves ribs.
These guys have the best rib portion I've ever seen and my partner loves ribs so we will be back!
Heather Mciver
Truly the worst restaurant I have ever been to. They mixed up my order, by the time I finally managed to get the waitress to get me the correct order everyone else had finished eating theirs. I cancelled my order in the end. The 7 year old at our table cleared the plates as the waitress was nowhere to be found and we wanted to have the birthday cake. It was only around 6pm so it wasn't even that busy. Awful, awful, awful!
Mike Sayers
Went tonight for all you can eat chicken wings arrived at 6pm and ate for about an hour till we were told around 7:30 that they had run out of wings. It's meant to be all you can eat from 6 to 9. We had booked for 25 people but in the end didn't even have that many. They weren't even particularly busy tonight so I see no reason for them to run out. To make matters worse we weren't even offered any sort of discount or compensation and all my friends were still charged full price. I only received a $2 discount off each of mine and my girlfriends meals after I refused to pay full price. Will not be returning.

Thought we'd try The Dark Horse as we haven't been since the Pass n Punt days. We had a fantastic evening. Our meals were excellent and we all thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Our waitress was outstanding - we left her a tip, which I never do, as we all kept saying what a fantastic job she did and she went out of her way to make sure we enjoyed ourselves! Thought prices were very reasonable. We'll definitely be back!
Maxine Phillips
Six adults and two children for dinner last night, and honestly not much to complain about. I read the other reviews before going for dinner and was left wondering why anyone would not be happy to eat at the Dark Horse. The lay out is great, the staff and service was excellent. I ordered BLUE eye fillet and am an absolute fuss pot about BLUE steak, while it was not perfect the portobello mushrooms were the best ever so my slightly over done steak was overlooked. Everyone at our table left full and happy and the prices were very reasonable, we will be back.

Wow. Read some encouraging reviews and the menu looked good - steaks and ribs - perfect! It certainly is a better done up place than the previous passnpunt. And the staff were pleasant. But there endeth the positives.

Firstly the place is confused - is it a sports bar, bar, games venue or bar and restaurant. Judging by the full dinner menu it seems it wants to be a bar and restaurant - but it doesn't seem to work at all. Pick a theme and do it well! I think a sports bar with bar snacks is maybe the extent they should try to achieve here. Maybe just stick to fries.

Went on a Thursday - rib special night - yum. Ordered a plate of ribs and the scallops as starters for the 2 of us. If they had the room they could open a squash court next door, as I have never had scallops that could easily double as squash balls. They were like eating erasers wrapped in bacon. I'm not actually sure how long you need to cook or microwave scallops for them to become bouncy rubber balls! And was that a plastic packaged pre made supermarket coleslaw - which is fine if its ok...but not....if it's not.

The ribs - I love ribs! Slow cooked fall off the bone saucy ribs - yum. Yeah not quite. They were intriguing. Ours arrived semi cold, in places, and warm in others. Microwave suspicions aroused! I'm afraid microwaving some ribs and plonking on some average sauce at the end maybe doesn't quite cut it. Why ruin such good food! Was intriguing to spot massively steaming hot ribs arrive at the next table. Maybe we only got 2 mins on high and they got 3.

Stone grill steaks. Steak arrives on the grill on a plate - on the sides of the plate are microwaved portobello mushrooms with no seasoning, and salad or potatoes on the other. No oils either so peeling the steak and seafood off the stone was fun - but leaving half stuck to it not so. With the steak cooking no side plate to remove cooked meat. We asked for a side plate and the response was 'o you want to do it like that'. Hmmm. 'No - I'd rather leave my meat on the stone grill to continue to die a slow death before burning my mouth with it'. $33 to cook a eye fillet where you are recommended to chop it up in slices and cook it with no-where to put it once done. Would you cook a steak at home in a smoking frypan and eat it as you go?

There was something very well cooked though. The mesculin salad that came with the steak was nicely placed against the smoking stone grill. The ensuing crispiness of the burnt lettuce and wilting warmness of the remainder was a great finish and palate cleanser.

I have never left eye fillet on a plate - until now. I'm not sure but we could see into the kitchen - and judging by the looks I'm not convinced it was a chef in there. Maybe he called in sick?? I hope so as if that's the best then.....

They've done the place up, made it better and the potential I thought was there. Maybe focus on what you can do and do it well. They have obviously tried and full credit - but maybe stick to a sports bar - do chips, snacks and burgers and do them well!

Shame - will keep an eye out on future reviews and will return if they look promising. Good luck to them.

** we are regular restaurant goers and this is my first review on this site. It was just so promising and so disappointing I just had to provide the feedback.

Have been a few times, it's a long way for me to travel, but I will definitely be back. The beverage selecting is great, the beer is always cold, the staff are always smiling, and the food is fantastic!! I have had the stone grill and have never been disappointed, the sides around cooked perfect, and the meat is so tender. The chicken burger is amazing, the marinated chicken goes very well with the manuka flavor from the bacon. Oh and the aioli, is the best I have EVER had. The Thai salad is delicious and fresh, especially the dressing! I have also had to try the eye fillet it was cooked perfect, so tender and the mushroom sauce was WOW! I can't wait to go back and try something else!

Came in this week for a work function... the boss was paying so we all had steaks. The service was great, the steaks were spot on, but a special mention must go to the platters we had for entrees. We all enjoyed the meal... especially as the company credit card picked it up!!

Visited this place on 14/12 as I have driven past numerous times and work colleague suggested it was an ok spot for a quick to eat meal.

As we arrived, we ordered 3 drinks. Upon order the waiter joked around about drinking alcohol, in a manner which made all of us feel uncomfortable. The hint was, what the hell are you doing here if you are not going to order alcohol or a shot of "jagermeister" Since when is it illegal to go and enjoy some food somewhere with out being hassled for not drinking alcohol, terrible service, and we should feel guilty because why? This happened all three times we ordered. Good sales technique! (this is sarcasm)

With the first round we ordered starters and mains.
Greek Salad, Chicken burger and Ribs.
We waited for 1 hour for the food to come out, ok I have no problem to wait when the restaurant is pumping on a Saturday night and it's packed. It wasn't to be, for dining but more so for the drinking.
When the food came out, i don't know where to start.

Greek Salad; Feta was off, Beetroot in "season" was from a can and the lettuce, not sure if it was washed.
Ribs didn;t taste like ribs and had zero flavour, if an animal had a bone density problem it would still have more bone than what was on a plate, what I am saying is that I don't think what we received were ribs.
Chicken Burger, I didn't touch myself, it arrived 5 minutes after first two dishes and didn't want to experience flavours myself.
We left and not a chance we would pay for anything like the service and meals provided. It is by far the worst, food and service experience I had.

The best service my husband and I have had in a long time, excellent band, friendly staff, but most of all the food ROCKS!! oh my gosh had a stone grill which you know you cook yourself! but the meat was excellent, sides so fresh awesome and the entrée well you have to try the crispy peppered squid rings to believe it, honest your missing out if you don't eat here and best part the prices are affordable even for a family : ) this was not bar food. We will definitely be back.
Johnathan Teh
Loved the service; which was friendly, and, of course, the food (stonegrilled). The lamb was exceptionally good; Surf and Turf was excellent too.

Nice relaxed ambiance. Will definitely patronize again.

Layout presentation of building is great. Burgers were good and acceptably priced. Pint of Carlsberg was $10. Most of my group said they wouldnt go back because of how expensive drinks were.
Sharon
May 2013. Very smart looking bar and eating areas. Really friendly staff, thank you. Loved our Stonegrill meals (1st for us). Apparently a huge difference to the old bar in way of meals avail and overall look and feel of the place. If you are into your sport they have heaps of screens, well positioned for all to enjoy. Now if they had Masterchef on a couple of them, we'd all be happy :):)
Would be happy to pop in there for a quick drink or a meal with the family. Good luck, I wish you continued success.

Great beer, food and service.

Happy staff make a big difference as well.

Great package with separate areas for the bar, dining

gaming and TAB.

Huge improvement over the old Pass n Punt.

Enjoy

Have eaten here twice for dinner. Both times the food was very good. Good value meal for the price. My Favorite is the fillet steak on the stone grill and the garlic mash. Atmosphere isn't ideal, but the food keeps us returning.

Went here for a quick bite to eat - really good value bar food, especially the stone grill options.
