Great we lunch spot in the new Mangawhai shopping center. Sushi was delicious and the miso spot on. Will definitely be back to support local buisness BK Sushi.

Great Sushi, fair pricing and a-lot of choice. Definately in the top 5 sushi places I have eaten at. Whole family found what they liked.

The sushi was really nice, great price and very popular. Well worth the visit.

Sushi pieces are $1.40 each. We found the sushi to be particularly dry and a bit less flavorful when compared to other similar spots, but overall it was a good lunch with a large selection of pieces and savories. It’s also the only sushi parlor in mangawhai so if you don’t like it, tough luck!

Wow!! I love sushi and eat it frequently, but I have never had salmon nagiri that tasted this good! I was so disappointed after lunch that I was full because I wanted to many more pieces of that! Also I loved the setup where you could pick and choose what you wanted.

Good to have this option when looking for a well priced healthy quick lunch option in a small town. Slightly above "mall-quality" but I have no complaints and am particularly a fan of the chicken nibbles and the portions generally. Extra points for cardboard not plastic.

Listen, for what it is intended, it does the job. We had a good lunch at a decent price. Nice selection of hot stuff and sushis. Friendly and smille staff. It’s not designed for a romantic date obviously. Seems popular with the locals as it was quite busy on a Monday at lunchtime. Would I go back? Y

I was visiting Mangawhai all the way from New York City and this place has the BEST SALMON NIGIRI I HAVE EVER HAD IN MY LIFE!!! And I do not say that lightly! The owners are super kind and treated me like family. I will definitely come here first for a meal if I ever have the chance to be in Mangawh

Exceptional food, fast service. I've been here a few times and it's my fave sushi place. It's part of a good complex, there's ample seating around the complex, toilets and a fair amount of parking

A bit expensive but sushi is pretty good and plenty of options available. Staff are friendly

Best quality fresh sushi and amazing service!

A really nice sushi shop, pretty good value as well. The girl who serves is always smiley (pretty sure she smiles under the mask, hard to know these days!) And the place is always clean and neat.

Quick stop off here during the long trek back to Auckland. Great selection (plenty of veg friendly options) and amazing quality sushi! Was exactly what we were looking for after hours of driving with pretty few options. Staff were super friendly too!

Good Sushi shop. Nice selection of what you'd expect and they didn't scrimp on the salmon. They also have a selection of hot foods and my wife seemed to enjoy the Teriyaki Chicken Bento. Would certainly go there again. Not cheap for a back street sushi shop but well worth it.
