Review Black Box Pizza Mangere Bridge - Mangere

I wasn't sure if I should try this place due to some low scores but ordered 3 pizza and I'm impressed. 1. $36 for three pizza is great value. 2. The large pizza is a decent size. 3. Cooked well and generous toppings. The bad review comparing to Domino's must have been employees because I think Black Box deserves 5 stars.

The food and desserts are EXCELLENT! Even though there is no seating, Mangere Bridge is such a lovely neighborhood that you might decide to enjoy your meal or milkshake in a nearby park

Customer service was good, didn't have to wait very long at all. The food tasted delicious!

UPDATE - We were tracked down via this review as the wrong phone number was provided to the owners. They not only remembered our order but had been hoping we would call back so they could offer us a 'do-over'. We have since tried the 'Good guys' pizza and really enjoyed the fresh and unique taste. Lovely fresh toppings with just the right amount of spicy sauce. Thanks for your consideration and we will definitely be back to try some more of your flavours. Ordered two large pizza's with spicy topping. It wasn't noted how spicy the topping was and it was inedible for both myself and my partner who is a spice fan. They should at least have a disclaimer or notification of hotness level. We called to complain and they weren't accommodating at all. Wouldn't recommend.

Great Value for money. I choose to go with Tandoori Veg Wrap. It was very good in taste and perfect with spiciness. Good location for eating Vegetarian. Nice and Tidy.

Damnnn reading all these reviews is making me think that I didn't get my pizza from here. Well hands down I'm glad I ditched domino's and went here instead. I ordered 2 pizza a margarita and a garlic shrimp. DELICIOUS!!. First time ordering frm here and I'm not disappointed. Defs my new favorite pizza joint.

Last time it was undercooked so I asked for it to be crispy and well I got it, this time the crust had the texture of a water cracker. My vege pizza was generously laden with toppings but unfortunately those felt like they'd come in a bag from a factory. The mushrooms are from a tin I'm 90% sure. The tomatoes and spring onion tasted fresh. It was also a very salty pizza overall maybe from the cheese or if not that it's silly to salt a pizza c'mon. Less toppings with better quality would be preferred. There's only one pizza place in Mangere Bridge and I for one would eat there frequently if it was decent. 4 stars and my honest opinion because the lady was nice and seemed to care when I complained about the last, otherwise a 2 in my book.

Definitely worth a try because the pizza's here are delicious. Some unique pizza's here along with dessert pizza's too. These guys give Pizza Club a good run for their money. We have used them for catering purposes as well and it all went pretty smoothly. 5/5

Best pizza I have had in ages. I have known this pizza shop has been there for a long time but was sceptical because I never saw many customers coming out of there. I'm glad I decided to try it out. It's great. 5 stars.

Very good quality wood fired pizzas with great flavour range. Not as cheap and as fast as Domino's but is more tastier and with better quality toppings. Would recommend.

The pizza here tastes amazing. Their base is thin and lite and the toppings are very tasty. Gourmet pizza with reasonable price. Highly recommend this pizza shop

I had been there with my Mother and It is a good idea with what their business is selling. Their pizza, drinks and ice cream are so delicious.

Got a waffle, Please guys step up your game. You need to learn how to cook, you can’t just serve crap and expect people to appreciate it. There is a message here on Zomato telling me to be polite, and I think I’m being very polite.

I have had black box a few times now to give it a good chance . Each time I havn’t enjoyed it .Very average pizza for the price . Better off making it at home . Just my opinion .

A nice change from the usual other big Pizza franchises. My order was made in reasonable time and delivered fairly quickly by Uber Eats in which I would say is a good pairing of businesses. My only small issue I have is that I wish the straw for my milkshake was in a wrapper and that it wasn't placed in the cup before delivery which in my opinion could be a potential hygiene risk, but otherwise I had a nice pizza and good service.

Ordered a few pizzas from here, wasn't that good, had hardly much taste in its pizza would rather go to hells pizza. Ordered nuggets and chips as well, there tasted very horrible as was burnt.

Last Friday night we went to get some pizzas from this place, we chose the Texan meat lovers and one of their desserts pizzas, we asked for any recommendations and the staff member didn't have any idea of what this pizzas looked like or tasted... anyways we got the white chocolate and raspberry pizza, when we arrived home i opened the dessert pizza and i notice some little pieces as the topping of the pizza i found it quite strange as the description didn't mention anything about any toppings, my partner thought it was the white chocolate and was about it to eat it when i realized it was peanuts! quickly i took it of him as he is allergic to peanuts, which means he could have get an anaphylaxis shock which can be life threatening. lucky enough we realized on time, we called this place straight away to let them know about the situation, the same guy that took the order answered the phone, we explained what happened and informed him about how serious an allergy can be, with no much response from him he just said "okay sorry, i'll give you a new one", that was it. we were very disappointed of this place, obviously not buying here ever again and will not recommend to anybody, if you are putting toppings of any kind you at least should mention it on your menu, i think it is very important for food places to be aware of allergies or diet requirements as i would think you want to give an excellent service for your customers and of course not to get in a big trouble because someone could end up in hospital because of your ignorance. ps: just so you know a little bit more about this allergy, for the future...
