New owners Mandy & Dave are doing a great job. Previous owners (Tony & Holly) were a tough act to follow. Our recent takeaways of fish & chips, including kids meals, were delicious. Highly recommended-still 😀
Delicious fish and chips - fish was delectable and chips had a crispy case around soft potato inner. Just how I like them. Food was out quick.
Without a doubt, the best takeaways in the Nelson region. The fish is always perfect, and my favourite larb gai chicken salad never disappoints. It ain't cheap, but you get what you pay for, the best feed in town, cooked by a passionate world-renowned professional chef.
Lovely fish n chips, batter was lovely and light on the fish. The curry sauce was tasty and the chips well drained. Highly Recommend .😁

Super delicious fish & chips! Actually I am a vegetarian, but made an exception for this. The fish of the day (Blue Warehou) was totally delicious, nicely breaded and had a good bite. The chippies were also fabulous and perfectly salted.
The portion size is compared to other fish & chips restaurants not quite as huge but you get pleasantly full and the taste is just awesome!

Very simply .. the best fish and chips in our living memories. Cooked to perfection - light batter and juicy, sweet, tender fish complemented by the crunchiest and tastiest chips we have had in decades. We watched the careful "plating up" of our meals in boxes with care and dedication. 1,000% perfection.
This is a fledgling theatre still finding its feet. It attracts top-class entertainers who enjoy the intimacy of the thirty something seats. It is going to be a top destination for Tasman and I hope it will be well supported.
Took me a while to finally visit. Was not disappointed. Tony’s pasties are amazing. Loads of other options including Thai, curries, burgers etc. A must visit.
