Review Park Cafe - Marahau

As I said to the personal: i actually ought to complain that they serve the best pizza I ever had (I am 64 years old) and it has to be 20.000 Km away from my home in Denmark!!! Thanks for a great meal. Great beer. Superfriendly personal, lovely place.

Lovely place. Beautiful view, nice setting, very friendly service and best pizza I had since my 6 weeks of travelling AUS/NZ. Would definitely recommend

We arrived without a booking at around 5pm on a sunny Monday evening in November. We joined a small queue which the manager moved through quickly. Those with bookings were sat first. We only waited a few minutes and were given what I think is the best 2 person table in the house - right at the back of the restaurant on high stools looking towards the sea - fantastic. Service was incredibly attentive - I dare say the best we have had in NZ so far. We had a pizza and burger - both were very tasty and we were warned they would likely come at different times as the pizza kitchen and main kitchen are separate - this was fine with us. Drink service was rapid and staff were super friendly and seemed to work brilliantly as a team to cover everyone’s needs. Views towards the sea towards Abel Tasmin were fantastic. All this and áranos le pricing too ! We’ll done - if we ever make it back this way we will definitely visit again but would book ahead and ask for those same seats.

We had a couple lovely wood fired pizzas! Medium size so roughly one per person if you like your pizza. Gorgeous huge wood table tops. Loos are in the cafe area but I'd recommend the public doc ones outside as they are more spacious and better facilities

Great food for lunch, arrived very quickly. Customer service was excellent.

Stunning location by the bay and national Park entrance. Pizza is beautiful. Great place to relax before or after a walk, kayak, etc. and fabulous for live music, for dancing with the cool locals and tourists.

Quite possibly the best pizzas in New Zealand along with everything else on the menu!! The Vege Frizbee is the best pizza! Homemade dough and tomato sauce!! The staff are incredibly friendly and professional. The best restaurant in Marahau by far!!

Awesome experience! Lovely place, very nice staff, great crafted beers and food. One of the best pizzas I’ve ever had in NZ. Thanks for this delicious experience. We will definitely come back again!

The lasagna has been amazing, and it is not easy to find it so well done (been in Italy a few times). I’ll come back tomorrow to try the pizza! Special thanks to the staff that were so nice and helpful ❤️

Matt Bygate and the team provided excellent customer service. The fish tacos and nachos were great. We left behind our jacket and Matt and the team shipped it to us in Queenstown. We are forever grateful of that excellent customer service. Highly recommend this cafe!
