Good first time here. Atmosphere was nice warm and welcoming. The staff were very helpful and super friendly. The food and dessert was tasty and cooked well however the chips sadly were dry and coldish bit disappointing there but overall good service and had a good time. Will be back and will recommend to others.

Came for a work dinner here recently; It was a shame that the pizza oven was broken and so quite a few items on the menu were cancelled for the night- it would’ve been nice to have prior notice of this inconvenience. My husband and I were gifted a pizza cooking experience. It was really enjoyable, made our own dough (to take home), pizza, a cocktail and calzone (dessert). Food tasted so good. Chef Logan was a great instructor. Friendly and patient. Highly recommend the pizza cooking class, but definitely keen to return and try other items on the menu.

Awesome time celebrating my 4yo’s bday with a pizza making party. Marissa organised and executed everything beautifully leaving the kids jumping with joy every step of the way. Cherry on top was the free face painting and balloon twisting on the first Sunday of the month which worked so well for the party. Awesome time for the adults enjoying our own time while the kids are well entertained. Lots of drinks, food and awesome times. Thanks so much goode brothers for the wonderful experience.

Had a beautiful dinner out with hubby by the marvelous Chef Logan and his crew. My dish was super tasty and my peach ice tea was also nice and cold. The perfect combination and good vibes. They were really busy but I'd still come back again. Love the seating next to the kitchen for great entertainment. Husband said it's the best burger he has ever had at a restaurant. Delicious thick pattie and not dry at all. Definitely would recommend coming here with friends and family.

I did a last-minute table booking (less than an hour away) for me and my son. I mentioned that it was his birthday and I didn't expect anything to come from it...
When we arrived, I gave the booking details. The man (mamager maybe?) looked at the booking screen, gave a genuine s.ile, looked at my son for a handshake and wished him a Happy Birthday and put all his attention on Riley (son). He ushered us to our table, and on approach, I noticed a small chalkboard at our table saying "Happy Birthday Riley." This went way above any expectations I had with celebrating his birthday. Our waitress treated us like we were the most important people there, and our time at The Goode Brothers (NorthWest) changed from just 'having a meal' to having a very enjoyable, personalized, and absolutely unforgettable experience.
Thankyou to everyone who was involved with creating such a great memory. You all went the extra mile, unprompted, and off your own back. I really can't give enough thanks to you all. You made this Birthday dinner significant. I was not expecting much when I booked, but when we left after filling our bellies with top-tier food, cooked by your top-tier Chefs, we honestly felt like kings. It was a perfect way fo my son to bid farewell to teenage years. I will definitely be back

So I came here on a busy Friday night for a friends birthday dinner roughly ten or so people. We ordered our mains and a few bought starters. They brought out the starters but completely forgot about our main dishes. It wasn’t till nearly everyone else had left the restaurant that they asked us if we were ok. They fixed the problem and brought our mains, they wavered 2/3 starters so the people who brought the starters were compensated for the poor service. Meanwhile myself and others who did not order any starters did not receive any compensation and we hadn’t eaten at all, patiently waiting for our meals to come. This to me showed such a lack of care to the individuals. Now I was hoping for a decent meal, I had ordered the fried chicken burger with fries included, the fries were the highlight for me which is pretty sad to say... The burger itself the bottom bun was so toasted it literally BROKE apart not tore but broke like pieces, the chicken was super bland and it costs $25??. It’s hands down the worst burger I’ve ever had, I would have rather gone to McDonald’s literally a few mins away and gotten something there. This place needs to reevaluate their food standards, I’m willing to overlook a mistake of forgetting to serve the mains but making us all wait then serving us that garbage is unacceptable.

Ordered from this store at 11 for an 11:30 pickup. When I arrived at 11:30 I paid (full price for the pasta even though it is clearly advertised on here as being $13.50 on Mondays and Tuesdays) I then waited 10 more minutes before receiving my order. Onion rings were AMAZING as usual. But unfortunately the pasta was just not upto the standard I have previously loved from this store. There were shards of a shattered mussel shell all throughout my pasta which I initially found from trying to swallow a bite of my pasta and having my throat scratched by the shell. Then later I found a whole crab in my pasta...which I am allergic to. Unfortunately this experience has turned me right off and I won’t be coming back.

Went here to try out their Bottomless Brunch on a Saturday with the girls and it was absolutely fab! Tried every drink on the menu and the mimosa was definitely our favourite! Food was gorgeous and huge portions too! The fish & chips were so flavourful and portion size is definitely worth the price! Mary was serving US that day and she was amazing and made sure our drinks were always topped up. There was a slight miscommunication where some of our party arrived a bit later and we could see another waitress and what looked like the manager arguing and pointing at our table which we thought was unprofessional. The waitress told us the people who arrived later could get extra time on the bottomless brunch and then we were told 5 minutes later that this wouldn’t be possible which was fine but staff communication could’ve been better more discreet so we didn’t feel awkward and given mixed messages. All in all we had a great time and happy with everything ☺️

We were a group of 6 adults and 7 children, including 3 preschoolers. We went to Goode Brothers for a delayed 70th birthday celebration and needed to find a venue that worked for all of us. Goode Brothers was a great choice for this occasion. Zee and his team gave us first class service. The food was delicious and arrived within a helpful time frame for the children. The extra touch was Zee and his team carrying the birthday cake to the table while singing happy birthday. Thank you for your part in helping create a happy celebration.

The manager refused to serve a whole table of 10 people who just finished work at 7.30 pm alcohol after only 5 drinks were served. He told us that we would get too tipsy because we are “females” and females are light weight . How sexist can a MANAGER be . That is absolutely disgusting . Wasn't the biggest fan because this place isn't authentic Italian food and doesn't hit the spot for a good kiwi style meal either. Sort of hovers in a questionable in between. The food was lacking creativity and complexity. However, as a chain it does quite well. Atmosphere and service is good. I'm just a bit of a pasta snob, don't let this stop you from giving it a shot and forming your own opinion.

We came all the way from north shore to celebrate a birthday in our group. The person who looked after our table was kind enough to ask and take the cake in (as it was meant to be a surprise for the birthday boy) and keep it nice and cool.<br/><br/>To start, we had the golden lager jug for $20 here (so good !) with some garlic pizza bread and polenta chips (good). For mains we had basil pesto chorizo chicken pasta, pepperoni pizza and a couple of other dishes (pretty good I must say).<br/><br/>Post which, we asked for the cake to be cut. Amazing cute (all of the) staff here came out with candle lit cake and sang wishing the birthday boy (happy one!) they even gave us three complimentary sweet box and discounted a few stuff off our order due to a fly issue (we were seated outdoors so).<br/><br/>Overall, had a lovely time here. Would definitely come back, specially for the people who make this place soooo good ! Cheers

Always go there for some good spaghetti, pizza and steak, with really nice drinks. Went there for brunch last weekend, were served a glass with lipsticks on it. The friendly girl changed a clean one for me later. Decided to try their big breakfast, the only juicy thing in the plate was the mushrooms. Never had sausages and bacons were so dry and hard to chew on. Please don’t slice the sausage into pieces then pan fry. Would love to visit again with the spaghetti and pizza that we normally order.

I come here quite regularly and have done since it was open. We come for the cheap pasta/pizzas on Tuesday. It seems every time I find a favourite dish the menu changes and its no longer available. Even ordering the same dish its never the same, they must have different cooks quite often. There is no consistency.

I thought that was very un-professional.<br/><br/>We then ordered the GFC (chicken), salt & pepper squid.<br/>The #6 Chicken Pasta and the fish and chips.<br/><br/>The GFC is nothing like it used to be, not worth ordering to be honest. Visited again on a busy Saturday night with rugby on and no booking! Greater and welcomed, seated promptly with a smile! Ate delicious dessert had a drink and a coffee. Everything was top quality and quickly served! Despite it being a full house we were served promptly and checked on regularly! Our host needs a separate mention though - dear RISHA we learned about you, how much you enjoy hospo world and love to look after the customer, you weren’t pushy, but everything on the contrary! You relate to your customer, deliver a great service and come across naturally enthusiastic and you made us feel like a friend at home!!!!! Enjoyed a family dinner here for a birthday. Good brothers Northwest catered well for our group of 7 adults and 6 kids. The restaurant was nice and warm and staff were attentive and had great customer service. However there wasn’t much room between tables so sometimes felt a bit squashed. The adults shared the Grande Seafood Platter, the Brothers Platter and a Meter long Classic Kiwi Pizza. The Seafood platter was amazing and def worth the price. It had everything. Would definitely get it again. The brothers platter was ok, much smaller portions and not much variety so wouldn’t order it again. The pizza was delicious and a great recommendation from our waitress. My husband and I also had the beef burger and the scotch fillet. Both good mains along with all the other food we had. Steak was cooked perfectly. The kids had combos and enjoyed having a pizza each to themselves. Combos came with a drink and activity pack. They enjoyed the colouring at the table too.

I’m sad to be having to write a bad review for this place- we have been coming here ever since this place opened, and sadly after tonight I don’t think we will be coming back. Informed there has been a change in chefs/kitchen staff- this was evident. Pasta was extremely bland, lacking any flavour, and a mouthful of over cooked chicken skin. Burgers were burnt, and dry as hell, chips over cooked too. Service was average compared to usual. Also found it strange to see a chef pre cooking up two huge deep fryer baskets of fish assuming to be reheated for later service. Table next to us got served their entree and then 5 mins later their mains were brought out- which were told to be taken back as not ready to eat them yet. Such a shame! :(

We arrived on a Tuesday night with our 3 and 1 year old and did not book a table. Was greeted by Junior our waiter and we were happy to wait for a table. Junior sat us down by the bar and while we wait offered some food on the house to keep our hungry kids entertained. A short wait later and we were seated at our actual table. I'm giving 5 stars based on the high-quality level of customer service from our waitress Risha, she was lovely and easy to have a conversation with. The child-friendly atmosphere was awesome too! Only issue was that I called the day before to ensure there would be GF bread available, and was advised they had ordered more but sadly had not. We were given hashbrowns instead which were quite greasy and made me feel a bit queasy. Otherwise, overall was okay but will definitely make sure they will 100% have bread next time.

We had a very pleasant dining experience at Goode Brothers at Northwest , it was our first time, but our friends are regular customers. I really like the ambiance , the decorations, and music was nice with right volume, perfect for us who love to chat. We were greeted cheerfully by staff named Bronte, i find her very friendly and corteous. Thanks as well for Junior's fast service. Food were very tasty, i love the fried chicken and the calamari. thin-crust pizza was also yummy. We grabbed the Monday- Tuesday deal, it's really worth it. Thanks

Very disappointed! I have rarely evaluated other people's food. Because I am also a chef. This Sunday my family went to the store for lunch and ordered two Beef burger and fries kids menu.duck spaghetti, a beef scotch fillet with French fries. The hamburger patties and beef scotch are over cooked and it is very bitter to eat. It is very likely that the grills are less clean. The spaghetti is very salty. Will not go back and eat again！

Really good service and food at Goode Brothers and no surcharge for the public holiday. <br/><br/>The seafood platter (small size) is amazingly huge and so well made. You can see how they put effort into this dish with simple ingredients, but assembled it to be so nice! The battered fish was my favourite from the platter, definitely worth it. <br/><br/>The salad was a “choose your own” one we put together, they forgot the feta originally but added it to the salad when we let the waitress know. <br/><br/>The meatballs were also delicious, served with tomato puréed sauce. <br/><br/>After our meal we decided to also get dessert, the Nutella and marshmallow calzone. It took quite a long time to be served, but very yummy!

Really awesome place for a catch up with mates. Lots of parking and spacious. The service was also excellent. In terms of food we had their pizza’s, pasta and fried chicken and the serving portion sizes were huge! Very satisfied indeed. Their pasta was pretty good and pizza had generous filling. But not that authentic. The only let down was their desserts we all had ice cream sundae, portion was huge but nothing special and it was like those ice cream from supermarket tub which was a let down. and no fudge? But will def be back as we enjoyed the service and ambiance and food wasn’t too bad! =)

We went in there and were promptly seated and given menus that looked like that has been used since they opened! 10 minutes later, after others who had arrived after us having had their orders taken, and not one person seeing if we even wanted a drink we left. What made it worse was that fact the 2 of their waitresses were standing by the door engaged in a very private conversation. We won't be back.<br/><br/>

Had lunch last Sunday there, everything went alright untill I cut the last big pieces of GFC chicken and to my horror the chicken is way undercooked and still raw in the middle!<br/><br/>The management team is apologetic and the chicken is taken off bill but we feel slightly sick after that thinking that we might get sick from undercooked chicken.<br/><br/>It's a cardinal sin to serve undercooked chicken and it's against NZ food safety, their chef better check the food control plan properly.

We come here on Sunday for my MILs 50th bday. And what a disappointment. Not only did we have to wait OVER and hour for our food (8 adults & 4 kids) only 1 out of 4 of our entrees come out. The other 3 come out and hour later with our mains. I went up a couple of times and asked what was happening as people coming in after us were eating and leaving before we were even served just to be told "you're a bigger group so it takes a little longer" being a chef myself I know you DO NOT keep customers waiting over an hour for food especially when the restaurant wasnt overly busy. After receiving our food it was a huge let down. The tortellini was undercooked. Aricini was cold, the chicken on the kids burgers was pretty much non-existent. 1 little tender that didnt even cover half the burger bun. And the chips on the kids plates were so overdone they were brown. The gnocchi wasnt very nice and neither was the dish it come w (vegetarian option) $380 down the drain. I did talk to a couple different waiters to say how unhappy we were with the service recieved and also emailed but havent heard a thing back. Definitely wouldnt reccomend going there with a big group. We were to scared to even order dessert because we had already been sitting there for over 2 hours and didnt wanna be waiting any longer.<br/>

The fam bam loves coming here on Mon/Tue for their half price pizza and pasta. They worked out to be about $14 each and the portion is massive. Always leftover for lunch the next day. Waitress are really friendly and accommodating. We came here couple of times for birthdays. We have ordered their vege, pepperoni, chicken cranberry and spicy prawns pizzas. The last two are our favs. The seafood linguine, creamy gnocchi and romana pasta are the best out of the lot. We have tried almost all their pizzas/pastas. The food can take quite a while but definitely quality food! They do Joylab rewards too, so you can accumulate 10% points for your next visit!

Everything was delicious but the standout was the steak which was cooked perfectly and presentation was above our expectation for a family-friendly restaurant. Went here for valentines day with a group of friends, when we arrived we were seated but nobody came out to take orders so we had to go in and ask again. The food was alright - we ordered the vegatariana pizza which we received with what seemed to be store bought black olives rather than the kalamata olives that were mentioned on the menu. We also ordered the nutella calzone which I would recommend. Overall vibe was nice, food was okay and service wasn’t great.

Workmate’s leaving dinner done justice by the team at Goode Brothers, NorthWest 🙏 Last Sat we booked a table out for a night of good laughs, good company, good drinks and good food. Needless to say the former 2 were easily achievable with my awesome work family however, the team at Goode Brothers provided for an amazing hospitality and environment to ensure the latter two were nothing short of. From the relaxing deco to the music to the exceptional staff was just spot on. As for the food and drinks (cocktails), wow 😮 over exceeded our expectations and it may have just have become our local fav for our Friday night drinks 🍸

Came here this morning for brunch expecting it to be great as we are regulars at the New Lynn branch and love it. We were very wrong because it was a terrible experience and wasted our morning! The kids hot chocolate was bought out in the biggest cup possible and as hot as possible after the waitress specifically said it’d be just “warm” in a takeaway cup for our 3 year old. (and thank you but we don’t need all those marshmallows and chocolate fish!) Then there was no kids activity pack for the kids meal which it states on the menu, I had to question this when it wasn’t bought out and my daughter had been waiting. They had “run out” of my first choice so had to get something I didn’t really want. We then waited about 40 minutes for some crepes and avocado on toast; seriously they weren’t at all busy and it took that long especially waiting with a little girl who was hungry. One of the “chefs” looked like she didn’t know what she was doing and looked plain dozy, the other was standing around gossiping with a waitress drinking coffee! The man was working but I don’t understand why it took so long especially with THREE in the kitchen!!! Their attitude was crap too. They can not tell us they were busy because we could see how many people were there and who was eating. Slack!! So we definitely won’t be back. Didn’t even get offered a discount or a free coffee for the wait. One thing positive was the new trainee waitress (lovely Indian girl) thank you for your service. Those chefs need sorting.

Great overall vibe and the ladies who work there are lovely. We had the Verde pasta, where pine nuts were plentiful and the pasta was cooked right. The pizza, vegetariana, had a good flavour of truffle and was not soggy. Overall the pasta was our favourite. Squid and fries, standard fried flavour, although the chips were better seasoned compared with other places. <br/>Monday and tuesday $13,50 pizza and pasta deal makes them an even more attractive option.

Wonderful. Been here twice and both times service and food was brilliant while also affordable. I love most things in Northwest, which is the best neighbourhood asset this side of the city, but having a pub which also doubles as an above-average restaurant makes it that much more special. Last night, they were packed inside so we sat outside where they had kindly put blankets for those unable to enjoy the heaters over the deck. We enjoyed the atmosphere of lights and the square in Maki St at night. While service was slightly slow, we understand why as it was a full house becoming fuller - quickly became packed outside too. Shout out to polenta chips, aracini bites and the Kiwi pork belly pasta with gnocchi. The truffle oil in particular makes that last dish amazing. Good portion sizes (both food and drink) for what you pay too. Our new neighbourhood watering hole, I reckon.

First time at Goode Brothers and it was a busy Friday night but the service was good and didn’t have to wait long for our meals. The meals were yummy though there could have been more chips with the burger. The beef burger was delicious as was the lamb salad. It was a bit too noisy for our liking but we probably will be back on quieter night. Under $60 for two of us but note the menu on here is different to the current one.

Love the atmosphere here everytime we come. The staff are so warm and welcoming and the food is always made fresh. We've slowly been working our way through the menu and are yet to find something we don't like! The scotch with mushroom sauce is definitely the best thing we've tried so far, but the pizzas are a close second! We love coming to eat at Goode Brothers NW and would highly recommend it!

We were greeted with a smile and friendly service by Kacy! (Waitress with plait). She was so awesome, and enthusiastic :) I've eaten here 4-5 times and haven't had service that friendly! It's good service usually, don't get me wrong, but she just went the extra mile! 🌸<br/>From making sure I got a clean teapot (the first one had old tea leaves in it), to pouring me my hot water and then filling my husband and my glasses with cold water, to having friendly, authentic conversation! I've worked in customer service before, so I understand that good service requires intention, being genuine and authentic and perseverance (esp towards the end of a long day at work!) I cannot praise Kacy enough :) I hope she gets a lot of recognition for her hard work today! She's an asset to the team.<br/><br/>The food was amazing too! Hats off to the chef 🎩 We ordered a meat platter and it was more than enough for 2. Super impressive, I was so surprised at the size when it came out lol. They had to bring a wooden stand thing for the food to stand on. Each dish was on point and cooked to perfection, I honestly can't fault them. I love this place!!!! Definitely on my list of restaurants to go back to :P<br/>

Since all the supermarkets were closed for Easter I couldn’t do my weekly shop, so going out for dinner it is! Goode brothers has been on my list for a while since I live close by and I’m so annoyed I hadn’t visited sooner. The staff were so friendly and accomodating! I love that they have an option for grilled fish because I love fish but not a fan of batter. All the food came out quite quickly and it was so fresh! Loved how juicy and flavourful the fish is. Also loved the caramel and chocolate tart, caramel was creamy, chocolate was not too rich and the biscuit was delicious. Can’t wait to come back for dinner again!

Food is average not too impressed. Seafood chowder is too creamy. I like the lamb rump being medium well but it's not proper flavored, and the knives were not sharp made it really hard to cut. The chips were crispy though. <br/>Good customer service.

When I visited was greeted with friendly staff let us choose our table. I got the fish and chips (beer battered) it wasn’t the proper crispy batter I was expecting, the chips were average. My friend ordered the calamari which was delicious. We shared the choc torte. That was really nice with the mascarpone on top. Definitely couldn’t have finished one each as it was quite rich with the sauce added too. Great night :)

i do not have any words to describe about food . last week me and my friend had a food in goode brother restaurant (north west). it was like we were eating a shit and the same food dish i already had in newlynn branch that was really nice. i think this kitchen need to improve. but the service by f&b was really nice. i am really shocked how they are facing the customers while serving the terrible food.

A friend and I visited for dinner. As we arrived at 5:45pm we were greeted and advised that 95% of the tables were reserved so opted to sit outside (no biggie). We ordered the calzone to share as a starter (everyone should order this... it’s delicious!) we ordered some drinks which half the order was messed up. We were offered water initially and had to ask for the second time cause the first person never returned. Main was a beef ragu and my friend had a duck pasta dish. We were first served the completely wrong meal & so sent this back. The weather in Auckland is unpredictable and so when it began to rain we asked to be moved inside. I was offered a table at 7:20pm but was told I’d need to be off that table at 7:30pm as it was reserved. That gave us 10mins to eat a dinner that was not even handed to us yet (as we were given the wrong meal). We chose to sit outside in the cold as it seemed impossible to begin to eat a dinner in 10mins that hadn’t arrived yet. Dinner: the duck pasta was undercooked and in the end my friend opted to not eat it. My meal was tasty but as we were left to sit in the rain outside, my meal was cold fairly quickly and I did not finish either. Overall, I have rated a 2 due to the delicious calzone and the half a warm meal I got to enjoy in the cold! This is the 4th time I have attended Goode brothers Northwest and have left disappointed. Would much rather travel out to the Botany branch as they seem to get it right every time without a doubt 😩

This was the second time we've had an early family dinner here. While the food is good, the service tonight was really lacking. We basically didn't get served at all! The wait staff are young and seem to not know what they're doing really. A shame as it's nice food for a family dinner at 5pm!

FIRST IMPRESSIONS: I've been here several times over the past year and love the fresh and inviting decor. It's always a good sign when you see a place filled with people! It did feel a little cold sitting in the dining area though. <br/><br/>FOOD: The warm lamb salad was tasty with interesting ingredients and flavours. The tangy and sweet tastes gave it a great point of difference. Also ordered a side of fries (as one days after a hard day!) but found them a tad undercooked. For dessert I ate the chocolate torte and it was heavenly - it was a generous size and I actually struggled to finish it! #positiveproblem<br/><br/>SERVICE: friendly and very efficient. I've always found this to be the case when I've visited. <br/><br/>OVERALL: trusty, reliable and well-presented. Ok, the fries were a let down but I can totally vouch for how great the food usually is! <br/>

I've had my 5th great experience here and so this 100% warrants a positive review. Each time I've come with a different group of people-- my visiting parents, my girlfriends, date night, and a couple of times with my toddler and husband. The food has been delicious every time, even when I've ordered snack, family size portions, sharing plates--across from pastas, pizzas, antipasti, "make your own" etc.For parents of toddlers, getting them out and keeping them engaged is a serious hassle but this place is super family friendly. The menu is versatile and delicious (yes, the kids menu too). Not to mention, hearty portions sizes. <br/>... and OMFG the chippies with bacon jam *drooooool*.<br/>If wasn't enough- Lovely beers on tap (craft beer lovers may be slightly disappointed, but hey the blackdog(sp?) always seems a winner), and a good wine list to boot! Oh, and a big tick for the service too. I don't give out 5 star reviews often, but all things considered, this place totally deserves it.

Extremely disappointed with last nights dinner. I have been to Goode Brothers NorthWest a few times now and have never been amazed however have kept going back to give it another go though last night was definitely the last straw. To start we order a few drinks which took over 15 minutes to come. I then order the Bravo pizza as have seen this come out a few times and been told it is delicious. Well mine was far from that. The chicken had a dark off looked to it and smelt revolting and tasted even worse! Thought it could have just been me however our whole table was disgusted by it. Tried picking the chicken off to eat the pizza but it had already contaminated my pizza and the smell would not go away. We sent the pizza back and told the staff but not much was done about it or offered back. Carried on with our night then went to pay and here was the pizza on our invoice, making us pay $25 for the 2 slices of just cheese pizza. Disgusted by this service and won't be recommending to anyone. <br/>Poor service and poor food

Came here for a friends event. The atmosphere was nice and I know their pizza is usually pretty good. However, I had the Beef Cheek with with Polenta chips.... I felt like I was eating dog food. They cubed the meat so small it cooled down too quickly and became like a gelatin texture. The polenta chips could do with a tad longer. Poor value for the price too with very little meat. I tried others around the table and only liked the pizza. Someone had a fish dish which smelled so strong... I think I would only have the pizza here and nothing else until they get the other dishes sorted better.

We came here as a colleague had won a work place shout, they were quick to help us organize a day and time and we were pleasantly surprised at the quality of food. We were provided free pizzas that were all different flavours, the pepperoni one was amazing and the crust was delicious and crisp. Very generous with the cheese too. The music's a tad loud but the overall atmosphere is nice and I'm definitely keen to go back to try their $10 cocktail mugs and their pasta. The herb pots as decoration on the tables were cute too.

Went here for lunch today and found the experience rather disappointing as have been here before and enjoyed it. I understood that it's a public holiday so delays with food are normal as it was busy. However i ordered the 'Warm lamb salad' and a side of haloumi- half the lamb in the salad was just fat and the haloumi was overcooked and dry. My partner ordered the 'Ceaser salad' and side of haloumi- his ceaser was missing a poached egg and haloumi was the same as mine. Complained about the lamb and was offered more lamb but i declined, was a bit annoyed that we werent offered a discount at the end especially considering we also had to remind them about the fries we ordered on top of this.

I was drawn to this place because of the graphic design and contemporary fit out. I really wanted to like this place, so I was happy to find that the portions were decent and service was good.<br/><br/>However, I'm afraid the quality of the food didn't quite stack up. The best food we had that day was a side order of fries (the aioli was perfect) and my ice mocha was nice too.<br/><br/>The seafood chowder was more watery than I would've liked, and we found it a bit salty. Overall, the flavours were just not there compared to seafood chowders we've had elsewhere. We weren't impressed by how the toast came out very burnt, either (though the waitress was very apologetic and genuine when we pointed it out).<br/><br/>For my main, I was excited to try the 'Make your own Pasta' meal. Unfortunately there weren't many white sauce options, so I opted for spinach fettuccine with seafood sauce. While the seafood was fresh, I wasn't blown away by the dish as a whole. That being said, I'm open to coming again to try more of their pasta meals – perhaps something a bit more conventional next time?

Very impressed with the service staffthey were polite and helpful.Drinks ordered and delivered quickly,food order taken and delivered pretty quickly too seeing as they were quite busy. Excellent pasta and pizza and decent sized portions and nice quick service. Will definitely go back👍☺

Went here last night for dinner with a friend. The restaurant itself is very nice with a bar and eating area, plenty of tables and a good atmosphere. <br/><br/>The Maitre'd on was very nice and knew what he was talking about (I am guessing he is also the manager though). We asked for a table, got seated with water but then didn't get spoken to or orders taken for around 15 minutes even though there was plenty of staff around (just standing and talking to each other) and it wasn't busy. I had to pull aside a waitress and ask as the normal menus closed in front, looks around the place didn't work. <br/><br/>I ordered a pasta; spinach fettuccine with the #4 and my friend ordered the pepperoni pizza. The food came out surprisingly fast and was very tasty. I really enjoyed the pasta it is what made the night. <br/><br/>From this experience I would be hesitant to come back as the service is just not great however the food was so would probably depend what I felt like eating.

I really enjoy Goode Brothers in Botany so was quite disappointed with the food out here in the west. The food came out quickly but really didn't have much flavour. The wait staff are quite young and not as experienced as the other Goode Brothers. Really just there to take your order with no banter or advice on what is good.

Ordered fish and chips. Fish was rotten and had been off for a prolonged period of time but was still cooked and served. The stench was unimaginable. Guaranteed food poisoning waiting to happen. Staff took the dish back, could not give a straight answer. Front counter was advised to not take any further orders for fish. Dine at your own risk

Went here for a dinner with friends. Four adults and four kids. Great venue for family friendly dining inside as well as lovely outside seating. Grassy area for kids to run around on. Good kids menu. Good pizzas enjoyed by adults but I have to say the pastas (we ordered 3 different ones) were really disappointing. Lacked flavour, seasoning and any depth of flavour in both the pasta and the pasta sauce itself. I was very disappointed as it is rare to find a family friendly restaurant and thought these guys had nailed it but unless they improve their pasts dishes which make up a fair portion of their menu unfortunately we won't be back. Salt, pepper, garlic, onion it was all missing.

Came here for Lunch on a Saturday. The restaurant its self is really clean and tidy and the decor is pretty modern and has a relaxing vibe to it. Staff were friendly. The food was quite average. I got a create your own salad. It was something I could of made at home nothing amazing. My dad got the steak which was alright nothing flash. The food was quite pricey for what it was. Probably wouldn't come back.

Quite loud music and average food. Still enjoyable but probably won't come back anytime soon. It's nice to be able to see the chefs working with the open kitchen
