It’s a handy pit stop to grab something quick to eat while you’re picking up things for your DIY projects from mitre 10. Staff were friendly and meals were a good size too

Love this cafe, been here several times now, lovely after wandering around the garden centre. The selection is excellent, they make very nice food to order, lovely presentation. Have cabinet food also for something quick, l can not fault. Staff lovely, take a look at those 5 gorgeous faces. Please come to COLUMBUS COFFEE at MEGA MITRE IO MASTERTON. Worth a visit Louise.

Popped over to Masterton on a Sunday and the first two cafes we wanted to visit were closed. Ended up going to this cafe in Mitre10 (thanks to the entertainment book). Expectations weren’t high, but the food and coffee were great. Super tasty and great portion size. Outdoor setting was really nice. Price was a little up for a hardware store cafe, but it’s not really a convenience cafe like most hardware stores have, but a fully featured cafe that just happens to be in a hardware store. Definitely recommend giving it a shot if you are in Masterton. In store kids play area is right beside the cafe too, which is handy.

Great staff friendly as.. We see they have to close on certain days off the week due to lack of staff..that's sad.. Best of luck
