Friendly service, good choice of cabinet food.

We love this cafe. A relaxing drive from Greytown through beautiful farmland. Staff are so welcoming and food is fabulous. Love the little shop as well.

Such a lovely and friendly place to visit and share some kai. All staff friendly with plenty to korero about regarding nature and environment. Scrummy food, we will definitely make a return visit.

There aren't many cafes in New Zealand with an atmosphere like this. A beautiful place to stop & refresh, if traveling this highway. At the time of visiting about 2.30pm, they were a bit light on what hot foods were available, but we weren't there for a pie. The Croissants with ham & cheese were delicious. Coffee great.

Great day out with family, coffee was burnt, but the muffin was tasty.

Getting fresh food mid afternoon and watching the birds soaring as we ate was wonderful. Excellent quiche reheated perfectly, fresh salad, great pie and great coffee. The service was excellent, friendly and helpful. We'll be back and highly recommended.

Always our first stop on our visit. Coffee is always good, staff are friendly, and the toasted sandwiches are hard to resist. Especially after a trip or two round the reserve.

We arrived right on opening, they were busy from the onset, organised staff were courteous, efficient and friendly. Coffee great and the food fresh and tasty. As a regular traveller will stopping by again soon.

Great place to rest before having a hunt around the rest of Mt Bruce. Janine makes a lovely coffee!

Great location for a break from driving on SH2. Stopped for a pie, ice cream and iced chocolate. Lots of parking, nice outdoor seating area and friendly staff.

The most friendly staff ever, toilets were clean as! Coffee was great too, 10/10 would recommend
