Best focaccia I've ever had in NZ. Very authentic~ Heat before eating would be better.

We stopped by Matakana for lunch before heading home. The markets weren't running so we had to forage elsewhere and found this place. It is on the main road. We grabbed a few items and walked down near the river to enjoy them.

First time in and YOU have to go! It’s the cutest little spot with amazing food. Always wondered why the bakery had such a long cue outside it. The food is to die for. IT WAS FIRE!! The service we received was so amazing and we will definitely be back again.
Got the whole package, a loaf of sourdough, delightful pastries, a yummy galette and delicious pastrami sandwiches, fantastic!
Not the cheapest bread but delicious nonetheless.
Get in early as the few times I have been in here the shelves run out quick and are occasionally restocked.
They intermittently have other pastries such as croissants and pain au chocolat which also seem to sell out quite quickly.
Opens pretty early, staff is super cool. Good coffee but croissant was pretty sweet for a plain bakery.
Definitely the best bakery I experienced during my 4 weeks travel through NZ! Reminded me so much of French bakeries. That smell of fresh bread and croissants! Coffee ist excellent, too.
Awesome coffees and my favorite being the almond croissants can't go past them with the filling oozing out yummy!!! Nice variety of sweet and savory items right in the middle of matakana shops on the Matakana Valley road
amazing bakery. best sourdough for 20 km and lots of lovely pastries and sandwiches. I go there every time I am in the area and never disappointed. I dont understand the poor reviews here. They dont seem real to me. Funny how many reviewers mention plume, but they dont bake bread and they have gone
