We recently had the pleasure of dining at Indian Tadka and it was an absolute delight. We were greeted with warm hospitality and excellent service.
The menu boasted a wide selection of authentic Indian dishes, each one bursting with vibrant flavors and fragrant spices. Every bite was a delightful blend of spices, perfectly balanced and leaving my taste buds craving for more.
The ambiance of the restaurant was elegant and welcoming, adorned with beautiful Indian decor that added to the overall cultural experience. It is very clean. The staff member was attentive, making sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal.
Whether you're a fan of traditional Indian cuisine or eager to explore new flavors, Indian Tadka is a must-visit.

Tasty Indian affair. Had their deep fried and tandoori starters, and then a lamb curry and butter chicken for mains. Also had some pashwari naan on the side. Service was quite slow for there only being two tables but food was worth the wait!
It's so lovely to find this amazing Indian cuisine in a small town. And for us, the vegan options were very appreciated. The food was delicious and served promptly. I would visit again if we return to Matamata, and in the meantime, I encourage you to support this great local business.
We ordered chicken tikka, dal tadka and palak paneer. Each dish was ridiculously good in comparison to some of the restaurants we have had Indian food in USA. The staff was courteous and internal setting was cosy with traditional Indian styling. Highly recommended to anyone visiting Hobbitton to try this place on their way in or out.
This is the best Indian food I have ever eaten! The dishes were fresh, well spiced, without being too hot/spicy. The young man who helped us choose dishes was personable, kind, and helpful. The Naan bread was freshly made and served warm...delicious! Don't miss eating here if you are in town!

My wife and I were visiting NZ from the USA and decided to get some Indian food for dinner to mix things up. We were very impressed with the food, decor, and service of this establishment. I had ordered the goat curry, as hot, and it definitely did not disappoint! I enjoy strong spicy flavor and the dish was absolutely delicious. My wife ordered the lamb curry with mild spice and loved her food too. The orders came out quickly and the service from all staff was very friendly. I cannot recommend this place enough if you are in the area and want an enjoyable Indian meal!
Amazing! Randomly chose to eat here on our way back to Hamilton. So glad we did. Menu was next level with so many vegan options!! Even got a Garlic Naan which was delicious. I'd never had Palak Mushroom before, it was sooooooo good. Pic is the aftermath 😊 thank you!
Just had the Indian style Butter Chicken, and it looked amazing. In my opinion it has to be one of the best Butter Chicken I have had, and was hard to not eat every bite. So much flavour, and the aroma. Just so delicious
High quality of food and Great Customer Service at this wonderful place. An excellent place to have a family dinner or parties.
