This place was very busy, Service was good and pleasant. The food was good we had scrambled eggs on toast. I wouldn't order coffee from there again not very pleasant at all. However they do some amazing smoothies so I would get something like that instead. I would go back for sure.
Ordered Steak sandwich, requested medium well~it turned out to be well done steak. luckily, still taste good and soft. Fries are crispy~
I had Iced Americano. The taste of the coffee is very smooth and authentic without the bitterness. Egg bennie was amazing. Must try the bread that comes with egg bennie. It's different from other places. 5 stars from me.

Seafood chowder is so creamy and has lots of seafood in it.
Must try the smoothies. They are the best.
We chose our meals of the menu. Good sized meals, average price of $20 per person excluding drinks. A nice range of choices from the cabinet or off the menu board

Best Cafe in Waikato.
This place is absolutely worth driving to.
Freshly baked pies, cakes, slices and cookies.
I can guarantee the pies here are the biggest pies you will ever see and they are pretty damn lit too.
Great coffee, great brunch and great service. What more can you expect?
I recommend the seafood chowder here, had the best fillings.

We had lunch here over queens birthday weekend it was very busy but the food was fresh and enjoyable. Coffees a good size. Would recommend visiting here
Fantastic healthy food, presented beautifully. Such a brilliant range of top quality food to keep anyone from Vegan to Meat and veg types very happy! I rate this one of the best cafes in NZ and we get around many!
Had lunch here yesterday and really enjoyed it. Fresh and tasty and the service was very good.

I am incredibly picky when it comes to eating out, especially with coffee. The Barista today I could not fault. It was an exceptionally smooth coffee. My partner and I both ordered the “Little Breakfast” and it was the perfect amount of everything and didn’t leave us feeling over full. Flavour in the mushrooms were beautiful and the sausage and bacon was delicious (so nice to not be dished up a kransky sausage). We always order poached eggs when we eat out and these were poached to perfection…. Not a hard yolk in sight! We grabbed a couple of the delicious looking blueberry and creak cheese muffins to take away as well. Will definitely be back on our next trip through. Excellent friendly service as well. Thanks so much ladies for making an amazing first impression. We will definitely e recommending you to everyone 🤩

Amazing Cafe! Came here for breakfast and left so full on high quality food!
They have daily specials with an all day breakfast menu with excellent selection
Came here to get some breakfast. To eat I ordered the Chicken and Bacon melt out of the cabinet. This was delicious with a good portion of chicken and bacon inside. To drink I got a hot chocolate which was also good. Overall I would recommend coming here if you're in Matamata and want to get breakfast.
Always get a burger when i go here.
But the iced coffee today was the best of my life. Creamy. Sweet. With a coffee hit. And topped with creme!
thai green curry- delicious with a bit of heat. pumpkin soup - thick, tasty, with subtle under flavour of heat. Coffee very good. Would definitely go back
It's not a big one, but it has numerous stuffs to choose from. You can enjoy the fresh made coffee and good pies/pastry inside or outdoors. Just park outside and come to this quite relaxing place for breakfast or brunch.
Good food selection. Reasonably priced; well presented. Was hot. Chai latte was well done with thick and frothy milk on top.

Fabulous food, great options for dietary requirements: dairy free, gluten free. We did have to wait a while for the food to come out though as it was a busy Saturday afternoon. Customer service could do with some improvement…..
