The cake and pastry are so nice, and price is affordable and reasonable. Staffs are friendly and helpful. Love to come here again.

Amazing selection of food - sweet, savoury & bread. Coffees are pretty good, too. Shame the place served on chipped saucers (four of us got coffees, at least 3 of our saucers were chipped) as this makes the place feel a bit cheap/grungy. Its ambience could be improved as it a bit like the "tea rooms" you might have visited with your nan (not bad, just not very modern & to me feels a little grungy) - it needs a bit of modernisation / a refresh perhaps. If you like a quieter cafe, I'd recommend sitting outside. Would visit again due to good food.

I really liked their pastry and coffee. Very affordable pricing too. The service was efficient and superb

Absolute favorite, probably one of the best european cafe's in Auckland. Especially when it comes to quality and prices they are second to none, you pay less for their amazing products then you do at most hot bread shops

Amazing wee French Bakery. Absolutely fantastic food. Absolutely recommend LA Tropezienne as a brunch/lunch cafe.

One of best French cafe in New Zealand. I was here when it was opened 10 years ago. Still my favorite. Coffee is authentic n great quality. Definitely u shall try all their pastry food. Amazing yummy. Once u try , u never want to go back other cafes anymore. So if u have issue with sweet stuff, watch out , u may not gonna stop eating here. Lol. Come n try. U will know what I mean. Many selection to choose. Be careful with timing, as limited qty for each pastry. U don’t want to miss our.

A little French cafe located at the heart of MIlford, their staff are friendly, they serve good coffee and their baked goods are pretty nice too. Their crossiants are very popular; usually sold out before lunch time. I tried their Paris brest... instead of having praline cream they put custard inside the delicate choux pastry casing, which is something different. Nice little cafe.

This is very good place , coffee was tasty, sandwiches are fresh and delicious. I prefer to have my dessert from this place , they made the tastiest tart I ever had. Chicken pie was delicious and fresh the spices, chicken and pastry are balanced . The staff are friendly and helpful. Highly recommend 😍🥰

I love all the cakes and desserts, but surprisingly I just could not stop thinking about the ham and cheese baguettes and have been back for more. I dont know what it is, but they are SO yummy and addictive!

They forgot our coffee so ended up waiting 30mins but gave us a free coffee for next time. However bad luck next time as I had a hair in crossiante but got attitude when I asked for an exchange.

Favourite place to eat in Milford! Great coffee and so many great options for food! Would highly recommend their filled rolls and croissants

I super love their custard donut not too sweet however there were days there were only small amount of fillings inside. Hope they will be consistently filled.

The coffee was good. The baguette also. I just do not give an extra star, because the service was not so good. It has very beautiful desserts. I'll come back to taste it. Thank you!

Such a huge selection of baked French goods! Lovely little cafe with friendly staff, the bacon and egg croissant was delightful, eggs cooked perfectly the bacon was crisp. I also loved the croissant itself with the unique herb glaze on top. The croissant was soft but still had a lovely bite to it. Must visit when in Milford!

The worst thing about this place is getting there too late and everything is sold out! <br/><br/>Very tasty selection of sandwiches and patisserie. The chicken caesar and the bacon avocado rolls are delightful. <br/><br/>Have a religieuse experience in chocolate or coffee flavour. Always busy and the staff are highly professional and friendly.

Stopped by in the late afternoon and noticed they had a special for pastries. I got a few and only afterwards that what I picked wasn't discounted.<br/><br/>The almond croissant was quite nice and flaky and the almond paste quite nice, almost like a custard. Looks like they do other food as well but were packing up when I showed up.<br/><br/>Decent pastries so would be willing to try other items since they all looked good.

Lovely ambience in this authentic French bakery. I had a smoked salmon role on fresh rye bread then a delicious creamy, not too sweet troppeziene (custard in brioche). Really lovely service, great coffee, I will return!

We've been going to their Browns Bay store for years and always enjoyed there. We decided to pop into their Milford store since it's closer to us.<br/><br/>The food is delicious as usual, lots of varieties. However they don't do filter coffee in this store, which is a bit of let down. Even they make nice espresso coffees, but sometimes all we want is some nice filtered coffee.<br/><br/>The store is a bit lack of character compare to the Browns Bay one, but service is just as nice. I think we would just stick to the original store next time.

We go here often since we live nearby. While it's a bit 'no frills', the food is very good value and tasty. The issues come when you dine in. The quality of the coffee varies wildly from excellent to undrinkable depending on who makes it. They also have a tendency to underheat the hot cabinet food, which is a shame because it's generally very good.

A nice quiet place to have breakfast lovely staff as well. The price was good for the food and they had a range of different kinds of food sweet to savoury. If your learning French it would be an awesome place to go as there are some educational magazines etc. at the back of the store

Great place to get some affordable French Patisserie where you do not have to pay a fortune for it.    La Tropezienne offers a good selection of sweet and savoury countered items as well as a good selection of fresh baked breads for you to take home.<br/><br/>Coffee here is pretty average, but you do not come here for coffee but more for their breads and patisserie items.<br/><br/>Please visit my website for an in-depth review.

Loved the ham and cheese baguette which had some chives sprinkled through the spread. It was a surprising but yummy edition. The crusty bread was just right. Paired with a long black, it was the perfect light brunch. Service was good. Place is looking a wee tired and needs a spruce up, but other than that, it was tres bien!

A really rich and enticing mille-feuille. Years ago I used to go to the mother store in Browns Bay but the Milford store has a better feel and the baguettes seem nicer. Coffee experience has not been great but this is a cake and bakery store of the highest quality.

Can't fault this chain really. Great coffee...very friendly staff just too many choices :-(<br/>Coffee is great and strong..brioche was fluffy and melt in the mouth topped off by a delicious crumble. Very french atmosphere and ambience

I can't fault them BUT my wife's loves them. They make a good cup of coffee, strong but good. Tarts and pastries are varied and a reasonable price for what your getting, all in all a pleasant experience.

I love going to La Tropezienne. The food is excellent and very reasonably priced. Beautiful coffee and the perfect place for a little treat after doing grocery shopping, or a light lunch. <br/><br/>Only negative is that one of the staff chucked a little bit of a hissy fit one Saturday when I politely returned my coffee as it wasn't what I asked for. The other staff are great!
