Review Pecan Piccolo Cafe - Milford

Nice and cosy cafe tucked away in the corner in Milford. All of the foods and the coffee I've tried so far were amazing, generous portion, and reasonable price! The special one, Smashed Avocado dish is my favorite! Highly recommended! Plus, the owners are very lovely and welcoming, always with nice and big smile. I'd easily give them 5+ stars!

Had several experience there with family and every time was a nice one. Food is consistently good there to the top knot, good taste and nice presentation. Coffee is a bit inconsistent but good enough. Nice smoothies for sure. Their bakery, goodness me, evil little things! The owner made them so tasty. The scones are uncompetitive, never had scone so good. Overall very honest quality food with good ingredients. Staffs are friendly there. Cozy little place and very welcoming.

Really nice placer to come for a relaxing breakfast, staff are very friendly and down to earth, the coffees are made nicely, the mocha is really good but could of been slightly stronger but that’s mostly due to the beans used The breakfast is really well made, you can see and taste that they make it with care. I had the soft poached eggs with brioche toast and crispy bacon as seen in the photo and the great was perfectly toasted !! Will be coming again! 10/10

Great coffee. And the breakfast Bap is outstanding 🤤 Instead of just nuking the whole thing or squashing it in the sandwich press, they disassemble it, crisp up the bacon, warm the buns, egg etc then put the crunchy fresh lettuce back in and serve it as good as new!

Had a nice lunch.Very helpful and friendly staff.. Very pet friendly ,was nice to my dog and even gave her a biscuit . Will go back for sure

Homely, warm and peaceful atmosphere, friendly and welcoming staffs who treat us like family, and best of all, amazing pastries and coffee. I’ve had one of the best pies I’ve ever had in my life! I would love to try their menu as well. What a lovely and cozy cafe. Definitely recommended.

A nice enough place with a good range of food on offer. I ordered the corned beef dish, but there was a disproportionate amount of veges and salad than corned beef. The poached egg was done perfectly though. The drinks were of a good standard, but nothing spectacular. Food was served in a timely manner. A little bit hidden away, but not impossible to find.

This cafe has warm service and a cute vibe to it.<br/><br/>The food here tasted very fresh, and the portion was more filling than what it looked. The brioche that came with the minced Ribeye was very fluffy, and the mince tasted great with its sauce. They are excellent at poaching their eggs (see photo). <br/><br/>The Bocconcini Mother Earth had lovely presentation and the ingredients tasted very fresh and high quality. It might have been nice to have this dish arranged in a way that made it easier to incorporate all the ingredients that complement each other. Milford has developed a number of good quality restaurants and cafes over the past few years. Last weekend we went to Pecan Piccolo which offers a menu with the usual brunch selections, and some other tasty options. We chose the big breakfast and the pan-fried gnocchi, which was served with pork sausages, Parmesan, green beans (instead of the advertised asparagus which was out of season), mushrooms purée, in a lemon butter sauce? The gnocchi were the lightest fluffiest pillows imaginable, and the whole dish was so tasty and much more filling than it looked. The big breakfast was a reasonable size and went down a treat. The sausages on both plates were strongly flavoured with fennel and definitely yum! Worth a visit.

Nice and lovely cafe tucked in the corner in Milford! Everything was made in house even biscuits for the doggy! Good quality of foods as they made everything fresh.

Good serving for the price you pay. Tasty classic breakfast options. Could be more experimental with their dishes. The staff were really friendly and seems like they know their regular customers well. We ordered the French toast with bacon (generous serving of bacon) and the big breakfast also very generous serving of everything. All in all would recommend but I just think that they could put out more experimental and newer breakfast options. :)

Super friendly staff, relaxing atmosphere. Bit of a wait considering only 4 other diners, but worth it. Will be visiting again! Presentation of the food was amazing 😊

Really great cafe tucked away in Milford. Ended up walking down the road a bit further after all our usual spots were busy - glad we did. Super quick, friendly service and delicious food. Think this will become one of our new “usuals”.

My mother and I came here for lunch on a Friday,  and we're impressed by the great service we received. We ordered crab salad, chicken brie sandwich, and a berry smoothie. The young lady who served us had the most wonderful smile, was efficient and prompt, and made us feel valued. The food was very tasty too.<br/><br/>I highly recommend this cafe.

Lovely cafe in milford hidden away from all the noise and mayhem of the traffic! Fab coffee and absolutely amazing home made food! Staff are so welcoming, fave spot for a cost hang out.
