The coffee is delicious, staff are very friendly and polite. 100% recommended if you’re passing by.
Awesome little place for a bite. Got the venison pie and a flat white for $12.90 total. The pie was huge, delicious and served with a bit of salad. Coffee was superb. Lovely little garden to eat on on a nice day.
Quaint and homey gift shop / cafe in Mossburn with some of the best pancakes I’ve ever eaten. We stopped over for breakfast on our drive from Te Anau to Queenstown, and got the bacon & eggs ($13.50) (scrambled) with toast, and the pancakes with mixed berries, fresh cream, yoghurt & maple syrup ($13
Decent coffee and excellent scrambled eggs on toast served with a smile. Set in a tasteful gift shop with a wide range. A nice road stop
Stopped in for a coffee on a wet and miserable day and was hit by the aroma of the pies so just have to have one. The BEST venison pie i have ever had, full of big chunks of meat and a delicious gravy, just awesome!. The coffee was a damn nice accompaniment too!
Nice place for breakfast. Nice food and drinks. Price was ok, portion was just right. Clean place and toilet.
Cozy cafe/gift shop (and post office) with good coffee and tasty brownie, worth the stop in Mossburn
The venison pie was so great, I'm sad I won't be able to get another given I'm just passing through as a tourist. Only downside was that there was sugar in my coffee and given it was takeaway, there wasn't a chance for this to be brought up and fixed. I'd have their pies daily if given the chance
First venison danish pie for me and it was especially nice with the local made plum source. We finished our meal with the fruit ice cream. It was yummy. We will be back.
Come here if you want to experience the best pies in NZ. Venison or chicken, both outstanding. Hope this place will remain open for many years to come.
