Review Elevation Cafe, Restaurant & Bar Motueka - Motueka

It's a super nice coffee shop and cafe. The atmosphere is nice. There is a weird religious group next door, but don't let that stop you from going in. I've been there a few times and will continue to return.

Wonderful meal. Nice wait staff. Live music and excellent food. We had a recommendation from our visit to Fleurs Place in Moeraki. The chef from Elevation Cafe had been done there and the management recommended we eat her food as we were from Motueka ,where elevation cafe is on High street. Her seafood was very nice and the mountain to sea fish my fellow dinner had was just as good. The local live music added to the ambiance . A cheerful 50th birthday celebration was at the next large table and other quests looked happy as well. Photos tell the story below.The crowd outside was from the Xmas parade. Not usually any people sitting on wall outside. The court yard is private and there is inside and outside tables.

Amazing service. They went above and beyond to make a custom Vegan meal for me. I think they should add it to the menu! Beetroot, blackbean and quinoa burger with avo and a chilli and passionfruit sauce. Just great.

Had coffee only. Staff very obliging and attentive. They bring water out if you ask for it. Beautiful artwork. Could do with more pictures. May goodness from the above flourish and continue day after day. God defend NZ!

Lovely and homely. Freshly made menu items and good sized portions. Great simple everyday food that is cooked so very well. Friendly staff who are happy and believe customer service is so important. We really enjoyed our time at Elevation and will definitely be back.

We took a chance on this place as we're from Christchurch and visiting relatives in Nelson, I was not disappointed. I had the chicken burger and it was great. I'm extremely fussy and there's nothing worse than ordering chicken to have it come out dry but the chicken was perfect, moist and flavorsome and also had plenty of lettuce in the burger; another pet peeve of mine is getting one or two bits of lettuce! I really liked they had child friendly meals, as we had our four year old with us and a good range of seating; we picked a booth style table. Nice atmosphere here, I would definitely come back if we're ever in Motueka or recommend to others

Elevation is the place to be!! Great ambience, service and food! Highly recommend to all those who are after excellent coffee and a huge variety on the all day menu!!!

Being a local...visiting quite often...will never be coming back! 45 minutes we got our food but still no drinks. We had ordered an ice chocolate, raspberry & coke, raspberry & lemonade. When the food was placed in front of us I asked about the drinks & was told there is a queue but we will have them to you shortly. 5 mins later 2 drinks turned up...1 was wrong. I asked where the ice chocolate was & got told there is a long list of drinks first & will be about another 7 mins. I then asked for a refund. My 7yr old daughter had to go without. There was a table next to us that was also having problems with getting their drinks as well. By now I was also done with my meal...well & truly!!!!!found a bug crawling over it...under the fancy lettuce was the most disgusting lettuce I've seen a cafe serve. Brown, the core & slimy. This is definitely one place not to recommend...not to go to...so pleased motueka has other gorgeous cafes to sit down & have a decent meal & actually get a drink.

We had the best breakfasts here today. Eggs benedict with the most delicious hollandaise sauce and a very big breakfast with great coffee! Thank you �

Café Elevation has really good food. I tried several things and it was always served hot, fresh and delicious. They make really everything from scratch, starting with the bread in the morning for breakfast up to the sauces and sides in the evening. Their coffee is really good as well combined with the selfmade cakes-just great!

Always friendly and the food is great, lots of choices from the menu as well as delicious cabinet food. ���
