Best fish and chips ever! My comfort food, very delicious.

Wow I wish I got 2 fish and a full scoop of chips. Absolutely mouth wateringly yummm The fish was soft the batter crisp. The chips Devine. 1 fish 1 sausage 1/2 scoop Steve - Hokitika

Just had a perfect fish & chips late lunch, with a couple of their deep fried mussels. Everything freshly cooked, fish with crispy batter but soft and moist inside, chips simply couldn’t have been better. We had a great chat with the friendly family who run the Chippy while we waited for the food to to be ready. Ate the meal on a picnic table in the lovely park round the corner - their recommendation - wonderful.

The mum and daughter that were working the night we got our fish and chip couldn’t have been more welcoming. Great food after a hike at Able Tasman, definitely recommend!

It's a fish shop,but good food.

This is one of the best Fish'n'Chip places to eat at. All the times that we have had the food from here it has been a delight to eat. I'm picky on my foods, this was not greasy, the chips tasted and looked good. (hard to get places that do great chips now) and the fish was a nice piece of fish, kind of thick (not a thin piece of fish and thick batter like most places do now days) and a reasonable size, (not 3 bites and it is all gone) the burger was lovely. I recommend this place if you are travelling through and need a bite to eat or that little treat of Fish'n'Chips. The only draw back like most places now days, is that it is only opened until 8pm..

Decent grub really what more is there to say? I had fish and chips and they tasted good. Clean oil and fish that wasn’t brown. Would get again. I have since had this again and it was good

Delicious fish and chips! The happy chippy himself is so friendly and lovely - he was out of mars bars so we went and got our own and he fried them for free! Stellar food stellar people :) Will be back next time I'm in the area.

Super cheap and big portions! we left the place with full bellies and only 19,50$ spent for two people. I got the cheese burger and my boyfriend the double meat and we really liked it! the chips portion (3,50$) was huge and super good, just the right amount of salt too. for us, it is a way better place than all these fancy restaurants with fancy 25$ burgers and almost no chips than never fill us up. the man working was really friendly and super efficient!

Excellent fish. If you're from the UK and are used to larger fillets, you might want to order two pieces. Chips are crinkle cut, but were well cooked, crispy and, tasty.

Had 2 pieces of gurnard and a half order chips. Fish was fresh and great. Flaked perfectly as pulled apart. Chip portion just right. Only shortcoming of this tiny shop is the narrow selection of beverages. I don't care since any time I'm in Motueka, this is my fish n chips destination.

Delicious burgers!!!! Packed full of fresh salad, a good quality burger patty and bacon, YUM!! Chips well drained, not greasy, decent portion size too. We'll visit again!

I'm a local in Motueka. These guys have the best chips and their fish is a decent size and quality. My favourite fish n chip store. Tops!
