Not a big one, but it's a warm place to stay on a rainy day. Nice coffee and desert. I enjoyed the words on the typewriter, haha : D

Super friendly and helpful staff, great coffee and an interesting menu! I'd recommend breakfast in bed.

Nice small cafe serving french style breakfast. Gothic coffee is a must try.

Tucked away on Dominion Road opposite the ASB Bank it is surprisingly warm and welcoming. Good coffee with a selection of French pastries and kiwi slices as well as a breakfast and baguette menu available. Well worth a visit

Delicious looking cabinet food, the croque monsieur looked very yummy, fantastic coffee! And lovely staff. In fact, I asked for a take away latte with one sugar, and the barista forgot my sugar and chased me 500m down the street with my forgotten sugar - thank you Florette! And to the very dedicated barista

As a Canadian traveller, this is my favourite little neighborhood cafe in New Zealand! I lived just around the corner & when this place opened up I was estatic! The couple that runs it are absolutely fantastic. Super friendly and put thier heart & soul into the coffee & food all made from scratch in house. The Toasted Coconut Mocha is addictingly good. Never had a better coffee anywhere. Any time I’m back in Auckland this is where I’ll go for my morning fix. Love you two!

Best coffee in NZ...hands down. Also tried their gothic latte (charcoal flavour) when I didn't want coffee. So delicious. The service is excellent too!!

I would like to give this place 5 stars as I used to come here for breakfast every time i was in Auckland. I'd order an iced mocha and "breakfast in bread" for $25. NEVER AGAIN! Last time I ordered the same thing and the bread of the breakfast in bread was stale to the point of being inedable. I couldn't even cut through it with the cutlery supplied, let alone chew through it. I advise finding a better cafe as to avoid having the same experience

Amazing food, coffee and atmosphere. It is a cafe that when you walk you, you instantly feel welcome and relaxed. Julia, Freddy and co are so friendly and smiley, even when rushed off their feet. Awesome to see dogs welcome to! Will definitely be back!

I was so excited when this cafe opened up near my workplace on dominion road. When I first went there the food was absolutely delicious and I was stoked that I have another option for my lunch breaks. But then I heard they changed owners and the quality of the food took a turn for the worse. Unfortunately it’s just not as good as it used to be and I’ll be sticking with my old favourites in the area.

Lovely small cafe on dominion. Friendly welcoming staff who are great for a chat also. Decent coffee in offer and tasty little treats or brunch options. We had fluffy little omelettes that are super tasty but could have little bit of toast to fill it out a little. Great spot to pop in and grab bite in

if you’re ever cruising down dominion rd you HAVE to check this cute lil place out! the staff are really chirpy and their drinks will have you feeling the same! i HIGHLY recommend ordering a coconut mocha cause this bad boi tastes like a liquid bounty bar 👅💦🥥☕️🍫 A++

Finally, a cafe that puts flavour and love into its food, their omelettes are to die for, and a such a reasonable price it's a wonder this cafe makes any money.
The coffee is the best I've had anywhere. Where else can you find a Flat White and actually taste the coffee beans.... Absolutely awesome.
All the food is made with love and passion, full of flavours, and well worth the trip from any part of town.

My wife and I had brunch here yesterday
It was quite busy and is rather small
But we tried the Croque Madame (ham and cheese toasted with a fried egg) and the Asparagus and Ricotta Frittata
Both were excellent
Very tasty
The cold drinks were very good also
Pineapple juice and a banana smoothie
Top-notch service
And good value
A significant addition to the Mount Eden cafe-scene
