Review Belly Worship - Mount Eden

Nathan
The lychee pork was top notch, tastes kinda similar to the sweet and sour pork but tastes cleaner and not oily. I wish they could have made it more spicy. ( he didn’t ask how spicy I wanted) The service was efficient. The restaurant was clean and not too crowded. Not your typical Chinese restaurant. I would recommend you to try

Have visited the Mission Bay site twice after avoiding Mission Bay for a long time and am happy to say it’s been fantastic each time. The service is perfect; friendly, well-timed and the food is delicious. Last time we had the spicy black pepper beef and spring rolls and dumplings, the flavourings were just right. So is the ambience. They have gone to trouble to ensure the decor is tasteful but groovy. Recommended.

Love that there are so many vegetarian/vegan options and alternatives here! Perfect spot for a group with a mixture of dietary needs. Their vegan lychee pork was so strong in flavour, sour sweetness of the lychee was paired with some hash bites which was a first for us. The vegan beef and kimchi dumplings were okay, a bit on the salty side for us. The vegan popcorn chicken was delicious with the sweet chilli sauce.

Great selection of vegan options. We had the vegan crispy chicken bao, vegan lychee pork and vegan prawns and potatoes and they were all mouth-wateringly delicious! I was soo glad we couldn’t finish the food as their quantities are generous and happy we’ve got a doggy bag for tomorrow’s lunch! 🤤 Definitely coming back here again. Definitely bringing our friends along next time. Definitely bring a bigger appetite. And, yes, highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a yummy, clean and cool ambiance to eat a hearty meal or a quick bite, along with a great selection of drinks. 🤩🍻👌🏼🫰🏼

Great food and amazing vegan options too. Everything is well priced and it's an awesome place to go on a date or just have a great meal. Portion sizes are perfect and the service is amazing. The people that own it are super friendly and I'm looking forward to seeing Belly Worship grow

Came here on a Saturday night and it was really crowded. You will need to order and pay at the counter first, and they will bring the food to you. Staff are always friendly and helpful. All our food were served pretty fast although the staff told us we might need to wait for about 20-30mins as it was during peak time. Food: 🌕🌕🌕🌗🌑 Price: 🌕🌕🌕🌕🌑 Ambience: 🌕🌕🌕🌕🌑 Service: 🌕🌕🌕🌕🌑 We like fried squid the most, it was crunchy, flavourful and really yummy. The rest taste okay and we find them quite oily, also their dumplings is hit or miss. Sometimes it was really good but not this time. Most of the dumplings were burst open and all the soup leaked out, making the dumplings kind of dry.

The food was absolutely delicious and tasty even the Vegetarian dishes was fabulous. Staff were very friendly and the most important I was very impressed with the hospitality. Thank you so much for everything and we really enjoyed it very much 💓

We booked a table and still had to wait for one to become available. While waiting by the counter we looked through the menu. So you order at the counter and then head to the table (once you have one). We ordered a variety of things to try. They also had unlimited snacks and soft drink for $3. Wasn't sure if the water and tea were free. Everything was self-service and most things that you need like bowls and cutlery are located around the shelves at the edge of the kitchen. The food was mostly nice. The pancakes were what stood out for me. They serve the pancake and filling separately and you get to put in as much (or little) as you want. The pork belly one was amazing but the mustard shrimp was a bit meh. Boiled shrimp with mayonnaise. The dumplings weren't bad. The spicy sesame chicken was surprisingly good too. I didn't like the lamb "risotto" though. The menu isn't too large so it is feasible to try everything on it.

One of my new favourite late night food spots. Open really late on Friday and Saturday till like 2am. Everything I have tried has been tasty and reasonably priced. Food is served very quickly even when the place is busy. The three dollar bottomless drinks is a nice touch too.

My friends and I have been to Belly Worship quite a few times now and they have never disappointed us. Hubby and I used to enjoy their snack selection and thought that was really really fun. Hopefully this comes back in the future! The interior of the restaurant looks clean and I like that they had a "theme" colour which was orange and other colours which were somewhat neutral. The service here is spectacular EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. All staff members we have encountered are friendly, kind and so patient (especially with me asking so many questions. I really appreciate you guys!) They are also very efficient, even in the kitchen as food comes out fairly quickly. Thank you to all staff for always making us feel welcome. As for the food, the best selling points for me are the Vegan options. Mind you, I am not vegan, but one of our close friend is. What's so much more amazing is that I also opted for Vegan food one night we were there because they were just that good! Their dishes are so full of innovative flavours and different textures that it doesn't get boring to me. Their menu is exciting , their portions are substantial and the quality and quantity for the price is superb! Best dishes are the Vegan Lemon Chicken Burrito, Vegan Chicken Popcorn and Lychee Pork (with many extra rice ;P ). Officially part of the "Belly Worship Clean Plates Club"! Lol. We look forward to many more visits and to more innovative dishes from you. Your high ratings are truly well deserved!

What we ordered: - Pork Belly Bao $11 - Soft Shell Crab bao $11 We came here specifically to get the bao and I was so pleased. They were absolutely stuffed full of filling, they were so generous, especially with the bao being only $11 each. My favourite was the soft shell crab and it says a lot about the place because I don't even like seafood. The crab was crispy and so flavourful with a sweet sauce and these little crispy chip-like things that were just so good. The spinach bao bun was soft and fluffy and they weren't shy with the coriander, which I love. It wasn't the most traditional but it just tasted amazing! The pork belly was also really good, it was slightly more simplistic and reminded me of my favourite Chinese dishes my mum would cook. While I don't think the pork was as good as the crab, both were still amazing and I definitely want to go back because I am so curious about the litchi pork! Also I love the Keanu Reeves bathroom
Jayne Faitala-Vatau
The spicy pancake with pork belly is divine. Every dish is delicious. Awesome dumplings as well but we decided on just spicy pancakes, Litchi pork and Pork belly taco bun. Definitely take your closest friends so you all can share the dishes.

Amazing spicy pancake. Would definitely go back for just that. $3 bottomless soft drinks and popcorn while you wait. Wait for food isn’t very long at all and everything was expertly prepared. Friday nights are very busy til around 10pm. The fried rice is super buttery and almost a bit sweet. Very good. Try the bamboo chicken as well!

Visited BW for a quick lunch today. We were attended to right away, so big thumbs up. Ordered chicken burrito, pork belly bao and lychee pork with rice. The unlimited $3/pp 'snack and drink' option is great vfm, but if you are visiting for the first time reserve space for their menu :). Lychee pork seemed to be the signature dish and was really good. Crispy pork bites in a sweet sauce with lychee. A side of chilli oil would help if you aren't into sweet sauces. Highly recommended. The burrito is interesting - Asian Western fusion for sure. Bao was not my fav pick, bao bun was soft and pork belly was tender. Pricing is brilliant and totally worth it.

Enjoyed my time here. The food was good and surprisingly filling. I just ordered the classic lychee pork belly. It does kind of feel like chinese takeaway plated nicely.. at least what I ordered did. In any case, I had a good experience - good food, service, venue. Recommend :)

I went to this place to try something different- and they didn't disappoint! Love the interesting menu options and the wide variety of vegan options as well. I tried the tofu fries; they were lacking in flavour but great idea! The spicy chicken burrito was unfortunately not spicy- for me or for my friend who normally eats mild food! Even when I asked for spicy sauce, they didn't have any truly spicy options. Real shame, but I want to go back and try the other options. My friend had the spiced lamb hotplate option; the cumin in that was really good and that dish definitely was more suitable for someone who likes spicy food!

From the moment i walked in, i felt so welcomed with the excellent customer service. The food was delicious 😋 and reasonably price.

We dine here regularly and are never disappointed - always treated so well and with kindness, food is always ready so quickly and is consistently great quality!
Mindy Bai
Amazing food and service, just fusion enough and just Asian enough! Delicious and full of flavor. Try their lychee pork, better than your normal sweet and sour pork! Spicy Cumin Lamb, WOW!

Yummmmm!

Very friendly atmosphere, good food! Food was average. My SO and I ordered Beef with Black Pepper, Lychee Pork and Pork Belly Spinach Bao. They taste great! Lychee Pork with bits of Lychee changed the game, v cool v nice uwu <br/><br/>Deep Fried Ice Cream puffs were okay, the chocolate sauce taste store brought.

Such good service, the people were very welcoming and kind. The food was so good, there was a nice portion of meat on the bao bun, dumplings were super tasty. The price is very good! <br/>The shop atmosphere is very cool with led lights. 10/10 would recommend

The staff are great explaining is force never been there before and unlimited refills, and snacks are awesome!

My flatmates decided to support some local restaurants and we were very satisfied we pretty much ordered 2 dishes each and had a plethora of food. We liked the fact that they had vegan and vege options the vegan salad and the tofu bao and pork bao were great, as were the pork and shrimp dumplings personal fave, spicy cumin lamb, duck burrito were also enjoyable. The food felt kinda modern but had great flavour we also the tofu fries were nice and a little different. All my flatmates were quite impressed and would be keen to go back again! Please note the baos are pretty big which is good value for money and good value for the belly!

Belly Worship is a modern hip restaurant along the main strip of Dominion Road, Balmoral. It's a cool place with great service and friendly staff. The food is fresh and delicious. The outstanding dish for me was the Pork Bao that was tender and juicy. Overall the food is good! I love that they have snacks to munch on.

Belly Worship certainly deliver on their brand promise of noms that are both fast and tasty - the menu is simple but offers an array of mouth-watering options. The meals arrived at warp speed, not leaving much time for our stomachs to growl in anticipation. Once you’ve moved on from trying to decipher the name, there are simply just so many things to love - the food, the all-you-can-drink sodas, the presentation, the neon signs and wall illustrations to boot. Soaked in colour, you’ll find a good value, open late option tucked away like a halfway house halfway down Dominion Road. Oh, and the surprise free Deep Fried Ice Cream Puffs (on the house) to finish were a welcome sugary finish. Not hard to see why this place is packed out.<br/><br/>Check out our individual reviews here: husk.co.nz/lunches/belly-worship-nov-2019

Went some time ago but forgot to add review. Good food. Price and taste wise.

Not a bad venue. Good service and okay food. I only this because it’s my personal opinion. Litchi and pork was a nice interesting mix and is an acquired taste definitely must try at least once. Dumplings were average.
Jariya
We had these last night. The taste was good. It is fusion chinese food. I am not really in with fusion food, anyway the taste wasn’t bad.

Great food, great prices!

We ordered the sizzling tofu, lamb, beef and the fried chicken with four bowls of rice. Everything was very tasty, the lamb had quite a spicy kick! The portions were much larger than I was expecting and were excellent value with Zomato gold. You could definitely share one main between two people and the bowls of rice were also generous. There were four of us and we had so much leftover. We also liked the quirky ambience inside.
Matt Dallow
Amazing food, quirky atmosphere, pork belly bao is really delicious. Highly recommend

Last night we went to belly worship again and ordered the lychee pork with rice, Sichuan style dumplings, deep fried squid and deep fried icecream puffs. We also 2 drinks which were the apple mint and lemon and the pomegranate, apple and rose tea. The lychee pork with rice was my favourite 😍 I loved the pork belly which was tender, delicious and went very well with the crispy potatoes! The Sichuan style dumplings were good😍 Not overly spicy which I liked, but enough spice to give it a kick! The dumpling pastry was nice, soft and the pork inside was well cooked and went well with the sauce. Last time we ordered the deep fried squid and decided to order it again as it was tasty as heck last time and this time we was as well! The icecream puffs were not too sweet and wasn’t loaded with sauce which I found a plus but I wish there was a tiny bit more chocolate sauce, an idea would be to have more sauce available in a little pottle to pour over the puffs if people liked more sauce but other than that I enjoyed them. If your looking for some great value drinks wise and on a budget the unlimited snacks for $3 is an amazing deal! They had popcorn, spicy mix, corn chips and others available+unlimited soft drinks (I liked the idea of unlimited Coke Zero 😍). I loved both the apple and pomegranate drinks which were sweeter than I expected but still delicious and refreshing. Overall service was amazing, the staff that were on that shift were super kind and checked in to see how we were enjoying the meal. Food arrived quickly as well which was definitely a bonus! Thank you for inviting us back! <br/><br/>Full review on Instagram

I had a nice lunch through here. I want to recommend is Chinese Burrito, it was tasty. However, the food portion size may not be enough.

First time here and absolutely love the place. It was a mix of modern and posh and there was ample seating area. Food was great, our personal favorites were the duck pancake and pork belly bao. It was just me and my husband and we managed to eat everything we ordered. Fast service too. Will definitely come back again.
SS
Thoroughly enjoyed dinner here! Favourites were the Sichuan dumplings and the egg tofu! But honestly, everything was quite tasty. Would definitely come back to try some other dishes!!!

Fun dining experience at Belly Worship. The Chinese burrito was a real highlight, all the flavours from the savoury lamb to the sour pickles and crunchy salad garnish paired well together. I would come back to try the other toppings.

First time at Belly Worship and absolutely loved all the food ordered. Dumplings were a pleasant surprise (Fish and Tofu - pan fried) as well the Chinese burrito with Meatballs.<br/><br/>Definitely going back for more!

Visited here on a Saturday night. We ordered the pork/prawn dumplings, pork bao buns, sichuan chicken, cumin lamb. Our favorite was the pork bao bun, it was exquisite. We would definitely try the bao buns again.

Came here only due to zomato gold but was unexpectedly happy by the outcome! Generous portions alongside quick and friendly service. Easy five stars !<br/><br/>Ps seen reviews that the chicken isn’t spicy, try eating it with the dried chilli! ☺️

This place has gone hugely downhill since opened. Half full restaurant but the two mains were delivered 25 min apart meaning one was stone cold. The kungfu tofu was one of the blandest things I've ever tasted, and it took 4 cups before a clean one without floaties was found. Won't be back.
Pam Gaddi
We tried the burrito and the spicy schezuan chicken and the flavour is rich and a must try though the burrito taste is just okay. Maybe we can try some other dishes the next time we come back. The staff are friendly and the place is chill to dine in.

Great new place on dominion road (well now not that old) near spicy house, great new style of food and always a good place to have a snack!!

Great food and really happy with the service here when it opened up the staff asked our opinion on the food and took on board suggestions <br/>

Brought mum for her bday, very different from our usual and we wanted to take her somewhere different. Order a good range of dishes, however our favourite was the pork lychee dish! Its like a sweet&sour without the batter and what have you... pork was tasty. We also ordered their fried wings, some spring rolls and fried squid, and fried dumplings for the kids which they enjoyed! And (even though we were warned) we also ordered their chilli chicken dish! Yikes! It was very spicy! But we still managed to have some and took home the leftovers (couldn't handle anymore that night) lol we also tried their pancake with the pork! All veru delish and the manager was a delight to be served by! Friendly crew! Will definetly be back again to try some other dishes!

Service: everything is self service! which i personally didn’t have a problem with. <br/>Ambience: 4/5<br/>Food: 3/5<br/><br/>The food was pretty average for me, but my partner enjoyed it :D Nice place to come and chill on Friday night. Plus unlimited snacks and drinks for $3!

This place is epic! If you haven’t tried, you are missing out!! #fomo 🔥 I love the vibe, food and lovely service. The lychee pork is a must try, bao and Chinese burrito is also excellent! Would definitely come again and will bring more friends!

Fast and friendly service. The food we ordered tasted very good. Great experience. Would come again.

$3 unlimited snacks.... whaaaaat! I was interested to see what the situation was! So for $3 you get unlimited red tea, fizzy drink, Bhuja mix, corn chips, dried chickpeas and popcorn. Not bad for a snack station if I do say so myself. We ordered the Chinese spicy chicken burrito, tofu bao and the Kungfu tofu. All the dishes were a decent size and with the zomato gold 2 for 1 on good is was great value. The chicken burrito was a must try on there menu. I enjoyed it and the flakey roti as the burrito was really good. It was very spicy though and was lacking the kick of flavour I expected. The tofu (spinach) bao was generous in size - with a large piece of tofu! Could have done with some chilli or hoisin sauce. The Kungfu tofu was a large portion and a good ratio of tofu and veggies. Service here is mainly self serve which is something we’re still getting used to! They have every thing you need though - plates, tea, takeaway containers available. The staff were pretty good and friendly when we asked for things. This place is definitely worth a visit if you are after a cheap eat or have zomato gold!
Teesh Ianto
Thank you for the delicious food. Great food. Liked the decor. Asian fusion. We tried the pork belly pancake, beef dumplings and kungfu dumplings. Pork belly is asian style, rather than having a crispy skin.
Shannon
Found this place too tacky, reminded me of a fast food joint like McDonald’s. Everything here is self serve, except the food being brought to you. This included getting your own sauces and plates/bowls that aren’t at your table. It’s a small place and there were enough staff on to wait the tables but this is not part of the service here. We had the vegan dumplings which were average, full of cooked frozen mix vege, and the sizzling kungfu tofu, also just okay but not worth $18. Best part was the dumpling sauce.
Sehaj Mehra
Cheap, good and filling food. You have to TRY CHINESE BURRITO. The food is fresh, and not that hot. Service is quick and friendly staff. Cool place to hangout and chill.
Nicole Mae Flores
Newest go to for a lot of food that doesnt break a students bank. And with the zomato gold 1+1, what more could a starving student ask for. As shown in the photo attached.. we ordered a lot for 7 people to finish. Da bao for days.<br/><br/>Favourite dishes: Beef Main and sichuan chicken<br/>Service: Attentive but not suffocating, fast, reliable and friendly<br/>Ambience: hubble bubble of conversations around, reminds me of a streetie restaurant back home (🇵🇭)<br/>
Belle
Awesome service, food is delicious, prices are very reasonable, comfortable and clean, definately going back.

Yummy Chinese fusion and reasonably priced<br/>We had the Chinese burrito with chicken, the bao with tofu, and pork lychee with rice<br/>Our hands down favourite was the pork lychee. Sweet and sour, crispy yet juicy, freshly cooked and piping hot. I loved it with the rice while my husband thought it was a stand-alone dish.<br/>The burrito was excellent. The soy pancake was hot and crispy, texture was amazing, and the chicken filling was juicy and flavorful.<br/>The one dish I wasn't crazy about was the bao with tofu. It came as a bao bun folded like a taco with a huge thick chunk of tofu. I hated both the texture and the flavor. My husband tried it though and he didn't think it was that bad.<br/>Excellent service, very friendly staff.<br/>Definitely would come again
Vicki Bennett
The service at this place was amazing. I don’t think I have been met with that kind of hospitality in a long time. From offering a seat to put our handbags on, to offering a larger table, extra food when our order was delayed, the list goes on. Highly impressed and highly recommend. The food was delicious! I will be going there again.

I have been hearing more and more about Belly Worship so had to give it a go eventhough I have to admit I’m<br/>not a huge fan of Asian Fusion. Presentation was on point but flavour wasnt quite there for me. We ordered the<br/>Chinesse Burrito with stir fry chicken. Loved the texture<br/>of the pancake and compliments really well with the chicken. The bao with pork belly was also nice. Again texture of the bao bread was great, the pork belly<br/>could have been more cooked/caramelised to bring out the flavour. Prawn and pork dumplings was average, the filling was a bit of a let down, had a strong porky<br/>taste and not much other flavours going on. Lastly<br/>we had the Lychee Pork which is pretty much stir fried<br/>pork but with the addition of chips. This combination was a bit odd for me, perhaps we should have ordered the rice to go with the pork. Taste wasnt too bad but don’t<br/>expect sweet and sour pork. Overall, probably street food worthy but can’t say I will be back. Again presentation was fabulous.
Kookie Garcia Samin
Great dining experience! We ordered litchi pork, teriyaki chicken bao, sichuan spicy chicken, crispy fried squid and kung-fu tofu which was a real winner for me. Sichuan spicy chicken served in a bamboo weaved basket was impressive. The steamed beef and celery dumplings were juicy and yum. Overall, quite happy with what was served infront of us. Will recommend and be back to try the rest of the food in the menu.

Food came to the table quickly and service was fine. Food was a bit average to me but I did really love the salt and pepper squid. It was cooked and seasoned perfectly, which was great. With parking being a bit of a nightmare in that area I'm not sure if I'll return.
Pig Cat
Liked the sweet and sour pork here. Braised pork just average for me. Clean and nice dining environment. Well trained staff. Good value with Zomato gold 1+1 on food.
Carol W.
We ordered a lot of food. The most impressive dish was the pork bell burrito. It has special sauce in it. The beef celery dumpling was also delicious. My friend ordered the lychee pork, and fried squid, which were delicious.
Alice Wang
I came there because of their high eating -4.3. However, to be honest I am quite disappointed. This could be said the most normal restaurant I tried by now on Zomato. As a Chinese, I don’t know how they cook pork belly in such plain flavor. Wrap Skin is just the normal frozen ones from supermarket. I really don’t know how to appreciate it. Won’t come again.
Jenny Da
We went to Belly Worship because someone walking past said “I heard this place is nice” and it is definitely true! The price is really good for what they call, chinese burritos, filled with meat or vegetables and the portion is also huge! Our favourite was the duck “chinese burrito” and the Sichuan sauce dumplings.
Andreea Simion
The spicy chicken wings and the braised pork nap bun were nice and full of flavour. Squid and black pepper beef were bland and average. We didn’t enjoy having to get our plates and cutlery, and also having to order at the till, kept having to leave the table back and forth to get things as the waiters only bring the food and that’s it. Overall experience average.
Tom Lê
Friendly staff, nice and fun decor. But the food were too oily for me, can squeeze out a lot of fat in the pork bao...:)) can't understand the crowd. They used to have the ribs which are not quite nice but it's not on the menu anymore...
Food Adventures With AnnaJ
We had a mixed bag of a meal when at Belly Worship. Love the 'burrito', crispy roti and well balanced flavours. The bao was ok, nice flavour but pork belly was very dry. The sizzling beef was yummy and plentiful. But! WORST dumplings Ive ever had. The smelt like raw chicken and were barely edible to me. The skin was also unpleasantly chewy.<br/>The place was cute with the neon signage but the self service area was messy and sticky, not very pleasant.<br/>Service was great but we were the only diners at 3pm on a week day.<br/><br/>I will perhaps return for a late night snack but wouldnt for a full meal as there are so many options on Dom road.

First time here and pleasantly surprised. <br/><br/>Ambiance: 5/5<br/>Service: 5/5<br/>Taste: 4.5/5<br/>Presentation: 5/5<br/>Value: 5/5 (with Gold REFERRAL: TIMM8306)<br/><br/><br/>I thought the portion sizes would be tiny because it isn’t exactly marketed to target asian market, but the size was good. It isn’t exactly authentic chinese food, but the taste was better than expected. <br/><br/>We ordered;<br/><br/>Sizzling beef with black pepper sauce - pretty light, not overly strong in flavour. Personally I prefer it with a stronger taste. A little bit overly oily.<br/><br/>Sichuan spicy chicken - chicken feels like it’s been fried before then re-fried for the dish. Don’t expect something super tender but it sure is crispy.<br/><br/>Sichuan style dumplings - not traditional, not spicy but delicious. Tastes homemade; not mass made. <br/><br/>Staff was friendly, ambiance was nice. Happy time; can’t wait to try the rest of the menu. <br/>

Quote 'JEAN2095' for 20% off Zomato Gold membership. Great deal!<br/>My hubby and I went to Belly worship for dinner because they were highly raved on zomato gold. Ordered the Chinese burrito with pork belly and the Lychee pork to try. Loved the crispy texture of the Chinese burrito but found the pork belly too salty. The lychee pork reminded us of sweet and sour pork and the portion was pretty generous. Overall we had our bellies satisfied.<br/><br/>Quote 'JEAN2095' for 20% off Zomato Gold membership. Great deal!

Delicious food. Awesome value for money. Love the lychee pork, dumplings, egg tofu and deep fried chicken. Super friendly and super fast service.

Zomato gold referal code - JEAN9597.<br/><br/>I have heard good things about this place and have been meaning to try it for a while. I was not disappointed, the food was amazing and generously portioned. The standout was the lychee pork, it was crunchy and flavoursome. They also have a snacks station with popcorn and drinks that would be appealing for kids.
Stefanie
Customer service is excellent, fast and friendly staff. Food is really good, generous portions and taste is definitely to our liking. Could come here every week! Especially liked the chinese burrito, spicy chicken, lamb cumin, sizzling tofu, fried pork dumplings. Definitely recommend!

food was soooo tasty. loved the chinese pancake. quick efficient friendly service. even got moved to a better table when it was free without asking! so cheap too!

Having a birthday dinner at their place is one of the warmest thing in this winter! First of all, their food is nice and definitely will go back again as well as recommend to others. Pork lovers must come! Also, since we were having birthday girls there, they provided two plates of free desserts to us. Thank you Belly Worship!
Cindy Dang
The service here was awful. One of the waitresses was so blunt and didn’t come take our order. Came with a friend on a very quiet Monday afternoon, there was one other couple in the whole restaurant and our food took so long to come and all came at different times. My friend got his food and finished it way before mine came, AND the waitress got my order wrong. Do not recommend Sichuan dumplings. They had a really weird texture, like dirt and the quality of the meat filling was so poor
Kristen
I’ve been here a few times now and all I can say is the food here is so good! Generous portions and well priced. The bao is one of the best I’ve ever had!
HungryHam
Good service overall. We ordered spicy chicken, cumin lamb, sizzling beef, Chinese pancake with braised pork, lychee pork and chicken wings. They were all super delicious. Will definitely recommend it!

Staff were friendly, atmosphere is really nice and interesting snack bar. Food was really tasty but should definitely get rice with the meals. Got the Sichuan chicken, litchi pork and the pork/prawn dumplings, my favourite was the Sichuan chicken. <br/><br/>P.S don’t sit in the far back corner because that’s where the heater is and it’s v v hot<br/><br/>Overall:<br/>Service: 5/5<br/>Food: 4/5<br/>Atmosphere: 5/5

Their Lychee Pork deserves a medal (I think I might be addicted). The staff is always warm and lovely, and the food is served super fast. 🙌🏻
J Ambrosio
Just want to commend the service in this restaurant. The guy (he was manning the cashier) was really attentive and definitely catered to our needs. The food came out fast and the servings were huge. Loved our experience. :)
Lenififita
Great food, fresh & fast service, been here several times. Great place too grab a quick bite, or even come in for a family dinner. Pancakes and pork belly is a must.
Maria Wong
Nice place, very fusion, friendly staff.<br/>The Chinese pancake itself is very crispy and yummy.<br/>However, the topping are very hard, chewy, and extremely salty.<br/>They should sell the pancake without any topping.<br/><br/>

They keep taking things off the menu - they no longer do noodles or fried rice which used to be $10. The quality of the food is not as good as when it first opened. It's quite greasy and too salty, and without the cheaper things on the menu it's getting quite pricey. We won't be coming back anymore.

Location is in the heart of dominion road, many food places nearby. The food was nice although I have had better versions of similar food. It is a small space for how busy it is, the server was fairly rude to us and had poor customer service.
Koyal Lal
This place is cute. Food was great but the spicy chicken wasn’t the best. The texture was hard. Their pancakes were different and yum. Food was very filling
Belle De Leon
We used Zomato gold to dine here, good value for money! We had the sichuan chicken and dumplings. The serving size is good for 2-3 people. Quick service!
Elina Yuen
Great place, love the casual atmosphere. Would definitely come back and recomend to others. Nicely priced, yummy yet also healthy. Great concept all in all
Anchal Naik
Service at belly worship is very good, has a pretty chill vibe and the selection of condiments is extensive to meet everyone’s needs. I have been here a couple of times and the food although a good concept has been rather oily and on the saltier side. The menu does offer some interesting choices and they do deliver on their promise of spicy food, but the oil just puts a damper on the overall taste of food. Zomato good worked out very well here.
Sarah De Guzman
Came on a very busy Saturday night, had to wait for a table and ordered before getting a seat. Which is no big deal, as the service was very quick. We got the food almost immediately after getting seated on our table. I like the free self service snacks on the side too.
Ana
Absolutely delicious food at a reasonable price! I would definitely come here again. They have the best dumplings I’ve ever had and great service.
Karan Kapoor
This place is so amazing. The modern Asian cuisine is just spot on. The staff is very friendly. Very colorful and funky decor and the best part it's open till late night. Will definately be back.
Auckland_foodie
This place serves the best Sichuan Chilli Chicken. The taste is just as delicious as the one we had in Dragon-i in Penang, Malaysia. We also had a similar dish in Xiamen, China. The chicken is spicy and crispy. It’s not for the faint hearted. The food were served very quickly and staffs are friendly. Overall we will go back again

Today was my first time dining at Belly Worship and I had a splendid lunch.<br/>A few choices that I would recommend for first timers are Lychee Pork and Churitos with Pork Belly.<br/>Food quality is great for the price. Staff are very accommodating. Belly Worship stands out compared to the usual go-to places in the same street.<br/>Definitely a place to revisit with family and friends wanting to try something unique around the area (Dominion Rd).<br/>
Tlrpxkq1
The food was actually okay but not as great as other competitors around. Staffs were kind. I ordered Sichuan chicken, vegan dumpling, Lychee pork and a fusion bao. The vegan dumpling consists of corn, spring onion, carrot etc and it tastes cheap and really bland, while others are acceptable.
Marggie Pascua
Very happy with the service. Very fast and the food is so nice. Super love the deep fried squid, definitely getting more of those! We ordered the duck churitos, lychee pork and the spicy chicken. Used zomato gold on this and it was so worth it! Definitely coming back again
Arianaaa
service is good, there wasn’t much of a variety on the menu. Fried rice had good flavour, the sizzling beef w black pepper was rather oily though. Overall, didn’t feel like it was worth the price.
Tristan
Always love coming here! Usually order their Sichuan chicken and Lamb with cumin, which are really yummy. Also ordered their dumplings which are really good! The place looks really cool as well :)
Giraffe
Good vibe! The food came really fast. We ordered the lychee pork and Spicy chicken. The portions were good for two, it is a sharing meal. The spicy chicken was very spicy and it numbs your tongue! My partner love the snacks option, we think it’s a great idea especially for big groups!
Ramona Zhang
The food was pretty tasty and the dishes came pretty quickly, the price range was relatively acceptable. However, Id say the quality of customer service has definitely reduced compared to when the shop first opened.<br/>Otherwise this is quite a nice place for a quickly meal with a small group of friends
Jifferney Lu
For the people who are so starving, this size is like snack, finish in 5~6 bites😂 Last time when I passed by was lunch time, only one table was taken. Overall, worth a try.
Jeannel Estrada
I just have high expectations for this place but the food that we ordered were very oily. I feel sorry for the broccoli it was full of oil. There were flies while we were eating and some of it went to our food.
Anna Chan
I was really looking forward to eating at this restaurant but the food options, as well as the food itself was disappointing. Would be interested to return and try other items on the menu. I like the snack bar idea and it's great value for money as you basically pay $3 for unlimited drinks. We got the shiu mai - it just tasted weird...
Nicole Choy
A chinese and western cuisine match made in heaven ☺️ we ordered the duck churrito and bamboo chicken with rice on the side and they were both A++ dishes. Definitely going back to try other food on the menu! Highly recommend!
Pukeko
Highly recommend!! Fast, cheap and delicious foods! Staffs are friendly. Order will be taken at the counter and this is a little bit tricky for the first time. However, the staff explained to us kindly and taken care nicely. Lychee pork is a must try. Dumplings are juicy. It's a shame I'm living far from here, but maybe it is good otherwise I'll be here every day!
Ben M
I think Belly Worship is awesome! The food is really good, the staff are nice, its modern and clean, the food comes out really quick, and free drink refills!<br/><br/>Litchi pork, Sichuan dumplings and ribs were all delicious. And it's really cheap too! Will definitely be going back.
Keana Dela Cruz
-Food-<br/>*very generous serving*<br/>Litchi Pork- 5☆ Must order, enough said.<br/>Coconut rice- 3☆ Typical white rice, best paired with Litchi pork.<br/>Pork & Chives dumplings(fried)- 2☆ I love dumplings but I was not the biggest fan of this; something about the filling and esp for $12 for 15pcs, I'm more into the Night market dumplings which are only $5/6 for 15 pcs.<br/>Pork Bao- I cant really rate this because my bf was the one who ordered this and I'm not the biggest fan of baos. But he said he liked it a lot.<br/>Also got the $3 unlimited drink/snacks.<br/>Total: $51. After zomato gold: $40 between 2 people.<br/><br/>-Staff-<br/>I felt like the person that served us was a robot. Like literally, we just went in, made our order, no smile & no "thank you's/you're welcome's". But since it was my 4th time visiting this place I didnt really care. All the other times everyone was smiley & friendly.<br/><br/>-Atmosphere-<br/>Bright orange interior & little bit small in space. 4th time visiting, went on a Friday afternoon around 4pm. Very empty w/ only 4 customers including my bf and I. Other times; dinner times are usually packed.<br/><br/>-Overall-<br/>4/5☆ only downside were the dumplings and that 1 staff. But I will definitely keep dining here and defs worth especially with zomato gold.

Nice fusion restaurant on Dominion road. I love the decor here, which gives it a great atmosphere. We ordered the litchi pork, a duck 'chaco' and Szechuan dmplings. Food is slightly above average, litchi pork could do with some more litchi pieces. Duck chaco was good and they give you so much meat! Dumplings were okay. For the price, portion and atmosphere ifs actually pretty good and it's value for money. Although it's not the best fusion place I've been to, the food comes out fast, so if you're looking for a cheap, tasty meal that's a bit different from your regular dining, then it's a great place!
MCP
Cute shop in a busy dominion rd, tried their litchi pork, broccoli and the spinach bun - the litchi pork is definitely a must order when u visit;broccoli also nice and comes in a good size; spinach bun was bland but overall still good!
Eat And Run
good food with well design place. valuable and delicious. pretty staff. excellent experience with gold member. we will come back and try other dishes again.

The first of my Zomato Gold reviews! Belly worship offers modern decor and edgy menu that is easy to navigate with all the classic meats for selection (juicy pork belly, spiced chicken and duck) Little touches like the $3 unlimited drinks/snacks as well as offering gloves for those sticky dishes gives it an overall good buzz.<br/><br/>Dining with baby: yes they have high chair for use and a number of bench seats. My son, of course, chose to sit on the stool. Menu wise, the food might be a tad bit sweet and syrup-y for my little one but a little bit over rice always goes down well. Having said that, we avoided the spicy dishes in this case!
P Chen
Their lychee pork is so good. Super fast serving.<br/><br/>They don’t accept reservations, so if you have a large group you have to try your luck. (The turnover rate is also pretty quick. We went as a group of 7, waited for about 15 minutes. )
Youngmin
The food was very delicious. I highly recommend the sizzling kungfu tofu and the chicken and corn siu mai.<br/><br/>Also the service was amazing. It was an overall great experience
Vivienne_Moo
Ordered lychee pork, broccoli & churito wth duck for lunch to share.<br/><br/>All dishes are quite flavourful, but should have get rice to blend it out a bit, as stomach turns to be upsetting afterwards.<br/><br/>I enjoyed churito wth duck the most, cooked wth bean paste I guess. Pork too chewy for my lykin wth only two lychees on plate. Guess it is not hard to find sweet sour pork in some Chinese takeaway wth better quality.<br/><br/>Not busy when we got there at around 1:30pm. But you need to get up place order at entrance and collect your own utensils and sauce stuff lyk that. Friendly staff but not much service after all.<br/><br/>4 star as paid with Zomato Gold.
Pip
Was actually surprised at how good this place was! The dumpling were yum! However service can be quite average! Hard to get the attention of waiters. They forgot half of our order and after a while of waiting, once we asked they quickly made it and brought it out which was nice :)
Amindha Fernando
Great addition to Dom road! Expect a bit of a wait to get a table if you get here on a friday or Saturday but trust me, it is worth the wait! Highly recommend the lollipop chicken here!
Nichole
Yummy food, nice staff. We especially like this egg tofu, very nice. Also suit for children, highly recommended. Will come again to try the Bao, looks very good.

With Zomato Gold, you can get a free main dish with another main dish ordered.  While some participating restaurants offer free food, there are others that offer free drinks. What a deal indeed!. You can get 20% off your membership with this promo code LITTLETD. I enjoyed my Zomato privilege this evening at Belly Worship.

Tried the bamboo chicken wings, plain churitos, Sichuan style dumplings and the lamb with cumin served on a sizzling hot plate. The chicken was really good, churitos lacked a little flavour, dumplings tasted just like Eden noodle dumplings and the lamb tasted like a dish from Xinjiang, quite rich with oil, flavour and spice because it was nicely marinated but it was a little bit too spicy. The interior is quite modern and their $3 unlimited refill is a pretty good deal. Service could have been a lot better.
Rex Chen
Tasty food and friendly service , located in the middle of dominion road which is convenient and close to Potter's park , great for kids , highly recommend
Sorry_vonguenumber
This place’s branding is very modern and inviting, service was good, unfortunately food was a bit of a let down. Tried the litchi pork, which is just a fancy sweet and sour pork. It was ok. The fish looked impressive but with the amount of sauce and the over frying of the fish, it was dry and lacked the taste of the fish. Best dish was the chicken nibbles. A lot of hype, not enough substance unfortunately.
The Scarfoodie
The staff who served as was super lovely and helpful, bring us tea to keep warm and a scoop of popcorn. This is a really cute place for a late night meal and gathering with friends, but the uniqueness of the meal in my opinion could be found in other places. <br/>Ordered the lychee pork with coconut rice. Pork is chewy yet tender with good flavor and the outside is crispy which really earns brownie points from me. However there was an underwhelming proportion of lychee-I only had a measly two pieces-but it was flavorful, very sour. There were also pieces of potato thrown in which tasted like mushy fries. The coconut rice also wasn’t as coconut-y as I hoped. There was a slight essence, but it just wasn’t enough for me to render it as ‘coconut rice’. <br/>Overall though, underwhelmed. This was just a fancier sweet and sour pork to be honest, I wasn’t blown away, but the proton size for the price is decent. 3/5

I'm really into Chinese food at the moment so Belly Worship really ticked all the boxes for me. Super inlove with their dumplings! It's so juicy on the inside and when you bite into them the juices just come out. The staff are super friendly and overall great vibes.
Larikatied
Good food and the price is just right. The green Boa with the pork belly was really yum, and it’s just $7. This place has really good starters (if you are not too hungry for the big eat). The place had a very nice vibe also- almost like a retro kind of vibe. Overall, would definitely go there again.
Anna
We thought this place spectacular, and very well thought out. With a relaxing atmosphere, the personabilty of the staff was great, and that makes all the difference when eating out 🙂 We had the Cumin Lamb and were thrilled by its heat, and it was top star, the lychee pork was great too, tangy but well rounded and spot on! They seemed to have thought everything out, it was clean, warm, friendly and fun.
Cherry✨
Great place for a quick meal as the food arrives in a very timely manner before we even had time to finish our little bowl of snacks - $3 for snacks and unlimited soft drinks, smart idea. We ordered 8 dishes between the four of us and each dish came out as they were ready - all arriving within 10 minutes. The Chacos were my favourite, with spinach bao buns and the chicken had great flavour. Rice and noodle dishes were average, good portion size and enough meat to noodle/rice ratio. Friend ordered the pancake churrito with lamb and recommended it.<br/>Cute little place with great service and a very reasonably priced menu.
SM
Staff/service: 4/5<br/>Venue: 4/5<br/>Price/portion: 4/5<br/><br/>This is our first visit. We ordered the lamb with cumin served sizzling, chicken & corn siu mai and duck churitos. At $18 for the lamb cumin, it’s was a letdown because the lamb slices was so chewy(lower quality meat/cuts). We love the chicken & corn siu mai was good, you can see that it’s made out of actual chicken chunks. The duck churitos flavour is delicious as well, got the smile from the husband who’s not a huge duck fan.<br/><br/>Join Zomato Gold and get 1+1 on food or 2+2 on drinks. This place definitely worshipped my belly😊 caught up with my besties and we had a great time. It was a little quiet but maybe we're just naturally loud! Food was great, ordered too much. My only complaint was that I waited 20 minutes for my main meal and when it arrived I had to have it packed into a takeaway bag. Service was nice and the place was cute and the extra charge of $3 for unlimited drinks was useful! Warning: spice levels are crazy hot 🔥
Pankaj Kini
Cool little joint. Cozy ambience, unique style and excellent service!<br/><br/>Now for the food - not your traditional Chinese eatery but very good flavours. My pick is the lamb Chinese burrito - oozing with flavour and very filling. My wife loves their signature dish - the lychee chicken. Been here twice and had the same things. Will the rest of the menu in future visits!<br/><br/>Nice place - hope it’s remains the same!!

Didn’t think to take photos but just ate straight away and demolished it. This place needs to be known out there, craving Asian Cuisine? This is the place to be - chill vibes, neat and fast service! Alsoooo extra $3 for unlimited drinks & snacks. Definitely coming back for more. Thank you #BellyWorship

Our group ordered a number of dishes from their menu. I had the prawn vege noodles. Large portion, filling & tasty. Fries were crunchy. I’d Iike to taste the vege dumplings next time.
Simone
Points for the really fast service. Great option for people that are after something quick and easy. <br/>Food was ok, not super tasty but not bad as well.
Neve
SO DELICIOUS! Exceeded expectations. The lychee pork is 9/10 and dumplings as well. Get into this place while you can still get a table. Thank you!
Foodie123
Great food, have been here multiple times for this chicken. However we went this weekend and the chicken was SO MUCH spicier than all the other times we went before that we could eat all the chicken. Please change back to the original amount of spiciness 🙏<br/><br/>Edited: Chicken is back to normal! :D
Robert Acedillo Villos
We love to dine at Belly Worship because of the food and the staff. It’s just disappointing that they are not Gold member yet (anymore). The staff said that their membership is currently on hold. I hope that they’ll get their membership back soon.

Awesome place for a late night feed. I & my partner really love their amazing litchi pork, goes soooo well with the coconut rice. However, the dumpling and siu mai are just average compared to other places in town. We came around 1am so we were only customers in the restaurant. Hence, everything was served so fast. Customer service was just ok considering it was late and everyone was already tired after a long day :). They also have the $3 deal for umlimited snacks and drinks, which I think is really good if you wana have a place to chat with friends. Will definitely come back again next time for the litchi pork & rice xxx
Lisa Kingdom
Very relaxed cool atmosphere , food delivered quick and very tasty , will definitely dine here again, just cool! The place was busy , always a good sign when deciding where to eat.
Evayang8885
Came here for midnight snack, they open until 2am which is awesome. We order 3 dishes, vege salad, teriyaki chicken taco bun, and their special pancake. Happy with all of them. Tastes good. We used the Zomato gold as well, which is a bonus! The staff easy going. Place quite spacious. Will definitely come back again. Highly recommend their pancakes! My partner loves it! So do I:)
Louise Meng
Self service restaurant that is very quick in serving up your order. Lots of different varieties of dumplings but I personally found the safer choices such as pork and chives to taste better.
Jacynda Darmawan
loveeeee this place! would definitely come back. <br/><br/>we ordered the litchi pork, sichuan chili chicken, and cumin lamb hotplate. they were all bomb!!<br/><br/>first of all, the sweet and sour sauce on the crispy fried pork was genius. it was a perfect combination of sweet and savory and the tanginess just add an extra kick. great value for money considering it was just $9<br/><br/>the cumin lamb was super flavorful, the sichuan chicken was crispy and spicy, and don’t get me started on the potatoes! they are crispy fried and fluffy on the inside. <br/><br/>great for group meals.
Machu
came here for dinner with a friend and we were pretty satisfied by the tasty food. i found the staff to be super friendly and attentive, which made the experience better. it’s nice to see how accommodating their menu is to people with dietary requirements. a new go to place for asian food!
J Delicieux
Tasty and good size meals. Like all the dishes I had today. Spacious, clean and bright dining area. Staff are friendly. Good price. Will come back again.
Nicola
Reasonable prices. Easy fast service. Food extremely average. Would not recommend this place or return here. Not because it’s bad but because there are so many other spots surrounding this place on Dom road that 100x better
Georgia Vossen
Extremely fast friendly service! Food came very quickly to the table and was beyond everything I expected! Very reasonably priced, amazing flavours! Unique and so tasty!! I will definitely be back!
Kahu
This next gen, dom road, food spot is a real crowd pleaser. Massive fan of the orange interior and neons that really bring the room to life, doubled down with a young energetic team pacing around getting the job done. Well done Belly Worship you guys are sickos.
Avalon Indiana Jones-Nicolle
Coolest new hot spot. So affordable for the great quality of food and decent portions. I particularly LOVED the chicken spinach bun and chicken corn siu mai. It’s also a really cool novelty having unlimited drinks and bar snacks. Lastly customer service was amazing! The food arrived quickly and the staff were very attentive to keeping the place tidy. Definitely our new go to spot 🙂
Dylan Buckley
Front door service was excellent, very friendly and engaging staff. The food took quite while but considering they were extremely busy it kinda makes sense. <br/>I got the spicy Sichuan dumplings which were delicious, such a good kick to them (although I did add the extra container of chilli oil because I love my dumplings to have HEAT). I would suggest you leave them for 5 minutes to let the oils soak fully into the dough, makes the flavour that much richer. <br/>Overall food was excellent and I’ll definitely be back! 4 stars purely because we were waiting for ages for it to come out but the staff were very polite and made sure we knew how long it would be so not a major issue at all.
Alannah Joy Green
Been here multiple times and keep coming back! The lychee pork is a must have every time as well as the spicy pancake (with duck or with pork.) The $3 unlimited drinks and snacks is well worth it.
Mitchie Mitchie
Great food! I come here regularly. Staff are friendly (including the cute manager). Food was served really fast. Highly recommend this place!
Biran He
The food came out very fast, some meals are big and we were happy with what we got. They provide takeaway boxes and sauces which you are to go get yourself which is awesome. Self service is on point.
Samuel
wasn't expecting much from this place but was pleasantly surprised.<br/><br/>they have pancake dishes which are amazing- highly recommend the duck one!
Soccer-rockz
The food was amazing, the portions were a decent size. Service was great as well, staff were very friendly. Used zomato gold and was very worth it! 10/10 would recommend, would definitely be back again!
Michael Bullen
Food is decidedly average. Ambivalent service. Far better options near at hand.<br/><br/>We had the dumplings, pancake and bao.<br/><br/>Not likely to return.
Natasha Geo
Wonderful food, well priced, great variety. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely dine here again. We tried the Sichuan dumplings, litchi pork, fried scallion broccoli, spicy pancake and veg fried noodles. Litchi pork was my favourite.
Simon Tate
Great place for a quick fun lunch. Black pepper beef and Litchi pork are great. Friendly staff, clean dining area. The menu is not so traditional but good for people looking to experiment.
LilianMonaghan
I wanna say the food here was just average and disappointing. If you really wanna try authentic Chinese food, go somewhere else.<br/>1. Litchi pork which was just a fancy version of traditional Chinese sweet and sour pork but with canned litchi. <br/>2. Spicy pancake was lukewarm when it came to our table and it’s not crispy and very greasy. If you go with pork belly, you gonna definitely feel upset stomach after eating these two greasy things together. <br/>3. Siu Mai was the most disappointing dish. If you really wanna try authentic siu mai, pls do yourself a favour, go to those Yum cha places. Way better than this plain flavour good looking Siu Mai.<br/>4. For the $3 unlimited snacks and drinks, pls guys, just grab a bag of corn chips or popcorn in supermarket and have them. Not worth it cos you gonna feel tried of refilling those snacks with tiny ting bowl.
Arlene
Great service at Belly worship, reasonable prices. Food came out quickly even when the restaurant was busy. Highly recommend the pancakes and the lychee pork
Venesse Chong
Food came out super fast and staff was friendly. We ordered the litchi pork, spicy pancake, pork belly bao and pork, chives and shrimp dumplings. Would not recommend the dumplings as the fillings weren't as tasty and some were lacking shrimp. Would recommend the bao as the filling was delicious.
Elisha Mae Brillo
Excellent customer service, everyone was really helpful and accommodating. This is actually my first time to use Zomato gold and was craving Asian cuisine and nearby was Belly Worship so we tried it. The staff even helped me navigate the app to avail the gold privilege. The food was great and with good portion per serving too. Happy belly 😋

Edited update: There has been lots of changes to the menu. They’ve taken off some of their great options such as their noodles and salads, while increasing prices as well. <br/><br/>Old original review: <br/>We’ve had a 5 star rating for this place for a while but kept forgetting to take photos because we always dived in too quick! <br/><br/>This place is fantastic. The energy, atmosphere, food quality, food taste, and service are excellent. We found the staff to be diligent and attentive. They really value their customer relations! (Been here several times, even met the head manager lady and she gave us free rice because she insisted we try the food with rice haha)<br/><br/>Even though the food might not be “best in Auckland amazing”, it certainly has its own flavour identity where the meals taste flavoursome and fresh. <br/><br/>(Found out about this place through Zomato Gold)
Jenny Kim
Ordered the Sichuan spicy chicken & litchi pork with coconut rice. <br/>Firstly, the customer service was very good from all staff members, especially the male staff who wasn’t wearing belly worship clothing (white & blue shirt?). Tea, water & cutlery is all self service - this is nice but kind of annoying when the spicy chicken is so spicy that I need to walk back & forth for tea every 5 mins yikes. Also, the ambience is quite nice, and it is very clean for a restaurant on dominion road which is good. <br/>The Sichuan spicy chicken is good, but I have probably tried better. It makes your tongue tingle which is a strange feeling haha. The potato in this dish was probably the highlight as it was super crispy but the chicken itself was quite dry (which is why I have given 3/5 stars)<br/>The litchi pork was probably my favourite out of the two dishes, the sauce wasn’t too sweet or salty but wasn’t bland. The pork was nice & soft on the inside but crispy on the outside. Also, the lychee in this dish 😍😍😍😍 yessss. <br/>I really wanted to try the spinach bao & the duck pancake but the portions at Belly Worship are super generous! - my sister & I have massive appetites & struggled to finish the dishes haha. <br/>I will be back to try other dishes from here ☺️
Simone Mulitalo
Absolutely love the dumplings here! The dumpling sauce is amazing, not just plain soy sauce. Definitely a hidden gem! Also most nights they are open till 3am, so perfect after a night out!<br/>
Jenny
Staff are very welcoming and service was amazing. The food is amazing and quick. Place was very clean and I liked the self service for sauces and drinks. Good vegetarian selection. Definitely recommend as it is my new favourite.
Trazy M Lata
I went here for a friend's birthday I got the chips and the spinach bun with tofu it was very delicious. The ambiance of the place and decorations was very nice. Kind of a modern hipster feel. The staff were very lovely always checking up and seeing if we were ok and asking for feedback. The $3 buffet with unlimited drinks and snacks is a really good idea and we really enjoyed it.
Bayley
SO YUM SO FAST SO CHEAP. This place was so busy but only took 10 mins to get a table and while we were waiting we could order our food so it arrived at the table the same time as us! The portions for the pancakes are HUGE (spicy pancake with pork belly is a must). The sweet and sour pork was delicious, it comes with lychees which is weird but worked so well. $42 for two people for too much food 😍😍 will be back to try everything on the menu.
Prashant Datt
Pretty new ish place in Mt Eden.<br/><br/>Been here a few times and service is always good. Pretty vibrant place.<br/><br/>Food is good and they have a few different things on the menu like the pancake dishes.
Riddhi Shah
Good place and ambience. The dumplings were good but fried rice and spicy chicken was okay. Khushboo one of the staff members was very lovely and friendly. She seemed happy and very welcoming.
Amy Newell
Super friendly staff and the food came out super quick. We went on a Friday evening, was quite busy so had to wait for a table for about 10 minutes.. snacks were provided to us and we ordered our food while we waited, as we sat down at our table our food was being served :) will definitely be returning!<br/>Pork belly spicy pancake was my favourite!
Jackson Radovan
Food was awesome and the service was great only downside was the self service drinks was flat not fizzy and really syrupy. Other than that it was really good would come again.

One of my favourite places on Dominion road - such a vibrant and bright restaurant that is unique and has its own quirk. Initially, I didn't know what to order however I went with the litchi pork - which was amazing! The mini pork pieces were just the right size to place in your mouth in one bite and there were pieces of potato around which served as a good carbohydrate to go with the meat. I also ordered some fried noodles without meat as I paired the pork pieces with the noodles. Though the noodles were a bit oily which was a little off-putting however it didn't taste too bad. <br/><br/>They also have a snack and soft drink bar that is unlimited if you pay initially however, as someone who doesn't drink soft serve, it would be nice for a juice or peach tea option! <br/><br/>Would love to come back again for a casual dinner and try some other dishes like the pancakes and some dumplings. <br/><br/>Food 8.5/10<br/>Ambiance 8.5/10<br/>Service 6.5/10<br/>Price 7/10
Sonia Patel
Amazing service ! The food is good but I’d go back for their service ;) would recommend to anyone ! We had their spicy chicken and tofu and also one of their spicy pancake .
Natasha Kumar
First time I came here, food was good. Place is vibrant and fresh and I ordered chicken and lamb dishes. Really tasty. The second time I ordered the prawn and the spicy chicken dish..... it was a bit of a hit and miss. I will come again and try their pancakes for sure
Ray Lee
I have been here a few times. The food is always promising! Pancake with chili sauce is always good, recently tried their thai beef dumpling, omg it explodes in your mouth!
Saasha
This place has a very vibrant vibe to it. Food is also pretty good - nice addition to dominion road! <br/><br/>Staff are friendly and also nice that they have munchies to nibble on before the food comes!

I’ve been wanting to go to this place since I’ve been on a bao phase recently. It seems like a cool place to hangout as it’s open late. Service was super friendly, we had several people checking in on us and the food came quickly. The $3 deal for unlimited snacks and drinks is a cool idea too- we might’ve ordered too much food to enjoy that deal haha. The bao was pretty good (not the best I’ve had but still really nice- the novelty of a spinach bao is a plus) and so was the litchi pork (decent portions and flavour) and broccoli (cooked nice and crisp with a good helping of sauce). Siu mai was okay, not bad but alright, putting it on dumpling sauce definitely made it. There are still other items I would like to try on their menu so definitely coming back~

Before I start, I might have just misunderstood the cuisine, but the Sichuan chicken was very dry and salty, and I barely managed to eat it. This is super unusual and everyone else at tables around me seemed ok. The Pork ribs were alright but again not that amazing. The drink was good however.<br/><br/>Which was weird because everything else was great - the counter service, decor, speed of food, etc. So without eating at other places similar, I'm just not sure.

Good to see an new Asian fast food restaurant. Food were quick to serve, taste however was very average. The cumin lamb was nicely flavored but a little too greasy. The pancake was nice and crisp. The meat from the siumai and chicken bun was over cooked and dry.<br/><br/>Food: 4/10<br/>Food presentation: 4/10<br/>Service: 8/10<br/>Location: 6/10<br/>Ambience: 6/10<br/>Price $25

Quick service, friendly staff, great tasting and very affordable food! Also, they have this deal where you can get unlimited drinks, popcorn, bhuja mix and nacho chips for only $3!! Would highly recommend!

We were just at Belly Worship for Zomato Gold. They gave us some attitude by saying that we couldn’t order dishes of the same price for it. Then, once we showed them the terms and conditions, they reluctantly agreed and said this will be the only time. We also overheard the boss talking about making it that you have to buy 2 dishes to get 1 free, which is also not stated in the Zomato Gold terms and conditions.<br/><br/>Food was nice though but really need to improve on service. Don’t provide a service but then add your own clauses to it.
Jaspreet Singh
The Restaurant is on Zomato Gold for 1+1 on food, however the person on the counter refused for that. He said he has his own rules and will not provide zomato gold offers.<br/>Not happy with the experience, rude staff. 1 star is enough.

Been here countless of times and still surprised every single time at how good the portions, taste, friendly & quick service are with such a small price tag. Must try their "pancake" which is basically a flakey Chinese-version of roti and match it with either pork belly or chicken. "Pork litchi" is also their most recommended dish and even a pork-hater would enjoy this dish. I don't think I have been disappointed with any dish at Belly Worship as long as you're aware of the ingredients. The beef in chili oil might not be for everyone as there is a lot of oil in this dish, hence the name, but it might be great if you're sharing between 3-4 people to keep your chili oil intake at a moderate level. One star off because I'm a person who really appreciate table service where at Belly Worship, you sit at a table to consider the menu, then have to get up to order & pay and grab all the eating utensils yourself. I would definitely go back again despite this though.

Good ambience, woke me straight up from all the bright lights. Had the pancake, wasn’t really my taste neither was the sizzling beef as it was too plain but 4/5 for effort though.

Amazing place. Servings are worth the price, staff are so friendly and the aesthetic of the place is very instagrammable ;) their dumplings and Siomai are the best!! Overall a great experience<br/>

I went there on Monday for lunch. The place not busy, the food came out fast. I ordered pork belly spinach bao, spicy crispy chicken and lamb cumin. The bao was good, the others was avarage. The price slightly a bit expensive compare to the other places around. The service was avarage, no one say thank you when we gone. Overall was avarage, but I don't think I will travel that far from north shore again to come back.

It was on my radar for a long time finally visited this last weekend on a Fri night. Ordered Crispy Fried Squid and Thai Chili Beef Corn Dumplings Fried. Squid was slightly over fried and greasy. Dumplings were OK. I had read few very good reviews about them but I found this a bit over hyped. I think I will visit few more times to check if they improve. Service was substandard and staff seemed totally bored. Comparing to other places in the same area its a bit pricey too.

Another restaurant in dominion road that opens till late night. We came here for late night supper and ordered their signature litchi pork ( sweet sour pork served with potato and lychee) and pan fried dumplings. The pork was quite good and they served fried dumplings on a pan directly to you so you can still enjoy them hot n crispy after some time. We had dumplings with chives, pork and prawn which was quite juicy and flavourful. They also have a $3 unlimited popcorn and drinks so its quite a nice spot to hang out with friends.

They don’t take food ALLERGIES seriously at all!! Food is decent but giving one star based on this cause someone could have died if they did this to. My boyfriend has peanut allergy and I forgot to tell the counter so then I walked to the kitchen window as soon as I realised. The lady say she’ll just scrape the peanut sprinkle off the pancake. I said ‘no you can’t do this, the peanut oil from the crushed peanuts will still soak into the pancake and he would get really stuffer from it’. The lady tried to explain it will be okay and kept telling me it would be all good. I had to stand there and raise my voice argue her that it could kill people then she finally agreed to make another pancake. I’m Chinese myself and I know how Chinese don’t usually take food allergies seriously at all. But this is a restaurant in NZ when a lot of people have different sort of food allergies. If they can’t keep up the food safety then their kitchen staff obviously aren’t trained to the council standards!!

Came for lunch today. Ordered a fair bit of food. Service was VERY POOR. Everyone seemed tired and generally didn't want to be there.<br/>The food was just above average but somehow just didn't click with me. I probably won't be back.

Been here a few times, great place, staff are good. The pan fried pork, shrimp and chive dumplings, litchi pork and vege fried rice all are must tries. Will be back again and again for sure.
Karen
The stir fried pancakes and dumplings here are amazing!! We also got a tofu dish which wasn’t too nice, it left a bit of a funny after taste. Seems like a new dish they were trialing because the staff came and asked us what they can do to make it better (which is nice as it shows they are trying to make sure customers enjoy their dishes). Over all this place has a good vibe and staff are welcoming.

Delicious food ( finger licking good lollipops chicken ) , friendly staff ( especially the chubby girl in shop with her warm welcome and service ) , reasonable price. Love it!!

In general, lovely deco with reasonable food. out of the 4 dishes we tried, pancake with spicy chicken was the best. tasty chicken and refreshing saled wrapped in a thin pancake, portions quite big as well.<br/>however sichuan spicy dumpling was a let down. usually these sichuan dumplings are wrapped with thick skin to allow the customer to toss them with the yummy chilly sauce. our ones are jusy the normal dumpling and they all ended up broken after a while.
Nibin Purushothaman
Loved their ambience and customer service, really helpful staff. Will recommend the bamboo fried chicken and squid fry.not that happy on the quantity side lol.best place for people who loves the vibrant ambience.

Service was friendly and very attentive. We were greeted in with a small box of free popcorn - which was a nice touch. The environment reminded me of a clean and animated version of a Hong Kong diner. The food came out quickly. I found the flat pancake was nice and crispy and had a tasty savoury sauce smeared all over it. The pork ribs, however, lacked flavour, came out luke warm and were a bit tough. i also found the pork belly bun needed a bit more flavour or sauce too. This place has the potential to do very well but its just lacking in the flavour department.
Jason Yoe
This place is really good! The food was good, service was polite and friendly, i am really like the chicken wings, sichuan dumplings sauce was perfect, and the kungfu soft japanese tofu was awesome! I will defenitely bring my friends back and back again!!!!!! Food 4.5/5 service 5/5 ambience 5/5. They are also open till 2am. Recommended for late night snacks.

A highlight spot on Dominion Rd which had become our usual spot if we want savoury with rice. Many good options to choose from including Litchi pork, Sichuan chicken or pork ribs. I think all mains and dumplings dish are very safe to order and would taste lovely. Even-though the pancake is quite new to me, I'm not a fan of this dish. Also did not like the bun very much since it's quite dried.

So, I finally went to try this place and to be honest, it was a great experience. I heard alot about it and whenever i saw this place its always jam packed but good thing they provide free popcorns who are waiting to be seated. <br/>So, I ordered spicy pancake with chicken and duck. I loved the texture of pancake and the flavour burst in my mouth after eating chicken with some sprouts and pickeled cucumber on the side. <br/>I ordered sichuan dumplings as well. So far, its a value for money place. Would highly recommend it.

Belly worship is a great addition to Dominion road! Food is pretty good, service is astonishingly quick & I love the $3 unlimited drink refills! I ordered the ribs and although they were cold (unsure if that’s how they come?) they fell off the bone & were delicious! Tables are a little small for the size of the dishes but we always make it work. <br/>Would recommend this place especially if you have zomato gold

Was charged for 2 pancakes and not one(which I’ve only bought one for) and they refused to refund me. 1/5 for service and the response despite the fact we’ve only bought one

Came here for a girls’ night out and left satisfying 💗<br/><br/>Service: Staff are very friendly. There are snacks and refill for drinks at a reasonable price. If you want cutlery snd takeaway boxes you should be able to take them by yourself easily. Food came out quite quickly too which were great.<br/><br/>Ambience: The restaurant was clean with a warm lighting tone. The aroma was appealing too. There are plenty of seatings so big party is welcome. <br/><br/>Food: We ordered a lot of food: fried chicken, vege and beef skewers, lichi pork, braised pork belly with pancakes, dumplings, siu mai, and ribs. They were all excellent. But my favorites would have to be the fried chicken and the pancakes. Both were tasty and crunchy 😋<br/><br/>Amazing and affordable, will definitely come back for more.

Very nice dining environment with great customer service. The food is cheap and the quantity is sufficient. Definitely recommended, would return again!

We decided to hit up this Dom Road newbie without particularly high expectations and what a pleasant surprise it was-the food here is SO tasty!<br/><br/>Belly Worship feels like a bizarre mix of a modern American diner and a Chinese takeaway, a combination that shouldn’t work but somehow does. <br/><br/>For starters we got the bean curd, carrot and pine kernel dumplings which were nothing to phone home about and the spicy pancake was rather bland considering the potential it had.<br/><br/>However, the other star dishes of the night made the whole experience worth it. The spinach bao stuffed with spiced tofu which was mouthwateringly good, it had a delicious glaze and was packed with flavour (which is rare for a vege bao!) <br/><br/>We also ordered the sizzling kung fu tofu with a side or coconut rice which was my favourite dish of the night. It came out sizzling with gelatinous little disks of egg tofu served on a bed of egg, onions and carrot, with a sweet sauce. The tofu was fantastic - so moreish and succulent and unlike any tofu I’ve had before. <br/><br/>Belly Worship was overall an awesome experience- super tasty food, quirky decor, good prices and lovely staff... So glad they are apart of Zomato Gold as it gives me more reason to return!

Went here from a recommendation from a friend. We had some dumplings and a sweet and sour pork ribs which was super yum and filled us up. This restaurant has a great atmosphere, the food tasted great and was amazing value for money too!

Awesome for late night eats. Asian comfort food. Great vibes and love the friendly service always. Love that they offer steamed dumpling options and they come in chicken not just pork. The pancakes is a must try. I personally love the duck pancake the most 😍

Such great, fast service! Food is delicious and so well priced. Something for everyone. Our new favourite place to eat out! Also on zomato gold too!

Food was much better as expected although the "famous" pancakes were not really my cup of tea. The dumplings are great, especially the spicy sichuan one. Free tea and, if you fancy, popcorn, tortilla's and soft drinks unlimited for only 3,- more.

Food: 5/5<br/>Service: 3/5<br/>Price: 4/5<br/><br/>We came here on a busy Saturday night and luckily still got seats. The food was great, but they could work on some better customer service when taking the orders at the counter, but despite that I think we’ll come back here again to try their other dishes.

Starting with the restaurant , ambience is super cool, very friendly staff, service is very quick.. food is just amazing.. we loved the passion fruit, lemon n orange juice it was too refreshing.. quantity is good too.. must visit .. would love to visit again..<br/><br/>Review #2<br/>Had been here many times besfore. But yesterday we realised they have made changes in their menu ,which was a bit disappointing since they have made the menu shorter now. Would appreciate if more items are included.<br/>So tried the Spicy Chicken with potatoes , Lychee Pork, Rice, Spring Rolls, Passion fruit n orange juice, Apple mint n lemon juice. Loved the Lychee pork with rice. Chicken was really disappointing as it had strong parsley flavour. Presentation of food served was amazing . Staff were very friendly and kind.

I don’t get the high rating at all... Below average Chinese food with below average customer service, even worse than those hygiene grading C places if you get what I mean. Kitchen forgot one of our order, and when we waved at a manager looking guy, he glanced at us and turned around. After finally caught the attention of a waitress, she asked kitchen for the dish and didn’t explain or apologise.. Tofu was tasteless I basically used all the sauce I can get from the service service section.<br/><br/>All in all, I was disappointed yet again with our second visit. Will not return. And will forever be intrigued by how they get their high rating.<br/><br/>Food 4/10 Service 2/10 Ambience 6/10

Litchi pork was lack flavour! I was expecting more sweet and sour taste! <br/>Pancake tasted a bit like frozen Chinese pancake u get from the supermarket! But still kinda crunchy!<br/>kungfu kebabs was not bad! Sweet and chilli Taste was interesting! <br/>However the staff wasnt very inattentive! I asked his recommendation on how to eat the pancake! He replied however you want with no facial expressions!

Came here on a Sunday night with my partner to try it as it was one of the top restaurants on Zomato Gold. Given all the hype, we were thoroughly dissapointed. First of all, the service was terrible. As we came in we asked to have a table for 2 as there was one available but the lady asked us to order first. We went to the counter to order and the staff were yelling across the shop at each other right in front of us while we waited to be served. Very unpleasant. After ordering, we went to sit down with our number and realised there were now no seats left. We stood around for a bit before a table became free and they started to clean it for us - but as they were cleaning it, before we had even sat down our food was being put on the table. I appreciate fast service but this was not really professional and a bit unpleasant for us. Secondly, the food. We ordered the litchi pork, spicy pancake with duck and vege fried noodles. The litchi pork came out first. While the pork was cooked tender, unfortunately the whole dish was extremely bland. I had seen people saying it tasted like sweet and sour pork, but it really didnt taste like anything to us. It was just deep fried pork without any flavour. The spicy pancake was slightly better but my partner said it also really lacked flavour and was not really spicy at all. Lastly, the vege fried noodles. These were a nice texture and were cooked perfectly however again, very bland and boring and just tasted like oil. Overall unfortunately a disappointing experience, bland food and below average service despite how quick the meals came.

I really like this place. It has the authenticity of the dominion road Chinese places and makes it hip. I like the casual serve yourself style of the place where you can get as much popcorn and drinks as you like as well. We had the litchi pork, noodles with beef and sesame prawns. Litchi pork was fancy sweet and sour pork but it was done well. Crispy batter that wasn’t stodgy, good tang to the sauce and wonderful crispy potato chips that just added extra niceness. The noodles were tasty but sparse with their ingredients. The prawns were the only thing that made them lose points. The sesame was a bit overpowering and it just annoyed me how stuck the shells were to the prawns. Usually when prawns in shell are served, they’re so tender that they basically fall out of the shell, but this took far too much work than they were worth lol. Maybe I am too impatient. In any case, the little takeaway boxes were awesome and I’ve taken the rest home to battle with in my own time 😀

Very good customer service! The free tea is very nice too. Spicy pancake with spicy stir fried chicken is the best combo very flavourful. Ambience is great

So delicious! Went here with two friends after work for dinner and were served immediately. So surprising considering the busyness of the place. Food was super yummy and so cheap! Big fan and definitely recommend to fellow vegetarians ☺️

We ordered dumplings - they are 'fresh' out of the FREEZER, the skin is hard; The pancake - crispy on one side, doughy on the other, tastes chewy; Vegeterian fried rice - I can literally count the number of vege pieces using all my fingers and toes. Not worth going even with Tomato Gold. It's a disgrace to Chinese food.

Too sweet for my taste, especially the KungFu Kebabs, it’s supposed to be a spicy dish, why do you put so much sugar in it lol. Staffs are really friendly

Great variety, great price. Love the kitsch plastic orange cutlery that reminds me of school canteens in Singapore.<br/><br/>Felt actually like homestyle-cooked food in a trendy “fastfood” type place.

The food came out so fast! As soon as I sat down from ordering my meal. The food is already on the table. The food is delicious too, plus good atmosphere.

The spinach bun was good and you get a decent thick slice of pork belly. The litchi pork was a little disappointing as it kinda tasted like sweet n sour, still nice though. The Sichuan chicken was the best and is probably one of best I have had of this dish.

3.5/5 Taste<br/>4.5/5 Display <br/>3.5/5 Quantity <br/>4.5/5 Customer Service<br/><br/>White washed Chinese Restaurant in Dominion Road Auckland.<br/><br/>This place had one if the best ratings out of all Zomato Gold Restaurants and I was super excited to try it. <br/>Good location, good fast service, decent food.<br/>It was all going tooooo well until the main came out. <br/><br/>First off, there was a waiting line on a Tuesday evening and thats pretty amazing. <br/>Wait wasn’t long either we got our menus and ordered before we were seated, even got popcorns while we waited. <br/>$3 for unlimited snacks and soft drink was quite amazing. I mean if you look at it from owners point of view it would have been a hard decision to make. Unlimited drinks and snacks will most likely keep the customers staying there longer slowing down circulation, further more reducing income. <br/>Food came out in less than 10 minutes after we were seated, and the place was full. <br/>Litchi pork was only $9.9 for a big sweet and sour pork plate with litchi. Very generous indeed and the sauce was pretty lit too.<br/>Sichuan dumpling was really white washed, didn’t taste spicy or sichuan at all but it wasn’t too bad I quite liked it. <br/>Finally Sichuan Fried Chicken dish came out. <br/>It wasn’t sichuan chicken at all they should have called it Sichuan Fried Chilli with a touch of fried chicken as it was 60% chilli 20% chicken and 20% potato. <br/>Chilli wasn’t even spicy.. <br/><br/>Quite a decent place overall tho, probably will go again to abuse my Zomato Gold.<br/>
BaNaNa
Staff were friendly and very helpful. The interior looked clean and modern. The food presentation was nice but tasted average. Litchi pork was the best dish in my opinion. Food also came out fast. The only reason why I didn’t give 5 stars was because I ordered the pancake with the pork belly on the side. We were waiting for the side dish thinking it’ll be coming out soon but never did until we asked the staff. Once we received it pancake was already cold and so was the pork belly dish. Thought the pancake was going to be soft on the inside but it was just crispy and hard.<br/>Also the wonton soup tastes like plain water, no flavour.

One of the better cheap eats on Dominion road. The atmosphere of Belly worship is great, along with it being very clean.<br/><br/>It is a self-service (getting your own bowls, water , etc) so good if you’re just wanting something casual to catch up with friends. Most of the food portions are good for sharing too.<br/><br/>I ordered the spinach bao buns which was yomm, steamed dumplings – extremely flavourful, and the sichaun spicy chicken which  I found to be more of a shared meal for nibbling on more so than a main course. The Sichaun chicken came with more chilli than chicken on the platter so definitely would not fill you as a main.  Food 4/5, staff 5/5, $3 soft drink refills and snacks on offer 5/5.<br/><br/>

Food was relatively decent, except for the unbearably oily dumplings and crispy pancake, but it was challenging to enjoy the food when the restaurant reeked of smell reminiscent of filthy street side clogged drains. The floors were so sticky that my jandals stuck to it with every step I took. I can’t decide if I ever wanna go back despite the decent food.

With Zomato Gold, we were able to order all those dishes, feed 3 people and had lots leftover only for $55. All the staff were super friendly and food came quickly. With all the restaurant on Dominion Road, this one stands out. Will definitely be going back again.

Belly worship did not disappoint. Been wanting to come here for weeks now And since they were included in the zomato gold restaus.. just had to try it in a time when its not crowded. <br/><br/>This is not your usual chinese restaurant.. i like the ambiance and the selection of food. The girl taking the order was really nice and explained everything... <br/><br/>Went with my partner and we ordered 3 dishes as i get one dish free.. It was all yumm! So i cant wait to bring my friends and family here. The serving size was also a good size for the price.. <br/><br/>5stars for belly worship⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

When all restaurants are closed, it is nice to drive to Dominion Road at 10pm and go for a nice meal. This place is alive, lots of people hanging out. Efficient service, delicious food, good quality and original dishes. Would recommend the fried chicken wings and Litchen pork.

Excellent service. Friendly and helpful staff. Excellent value for food after Zomato discount. Will be back to try other foods as some looks exciting to try.<br/>

Been meaning to come here for a while, and decided to finally take my mum here using my zomato gold membership! We had the pork bao and unlimited popcorn and drink each! The flavours were rich and the pork was tender, we will be coming back again soon ❤️ Also, the place is quite clean and modern... A bit different from your standard balmoral rd eatery!

Good customer service and quite like the environment. We had the spicy chicken and the pancake with pork belly. Spicy chicken bit too salty for our liking, recon will go well with beers. The pork belly pancake was amazing.

Use my Zomato Gold and found this restaurant. My husband and i decided to try yesterday. It is a rare restaurant in balmoral. Normally chinese restaurant not focus on clean hygiene environment and deco. But this one makes you feel u dining at ponsenby. No offense, just telling the truth. Fried chicken was super delicious.$3 for buffet drink and popcorn pretty cool too.

Umm...I think Belly Worship has been overrated. When I think of Asian Fusion I would expect surprises. Apart from the pork belly bun the remaining dishes were average. On the other hand, if compared to the flavours of traditional authentic Chinese food, it falls below standard. The portions were relatively small. <br/>Nonetheless the staff were friendly and they hand you free popcorns at the entrance.

Had a quick meal here . The spicy pancake is actually spicy which I loved. However the chicken nibbles 6/10 . Also had the spinach bao 8/10 . My fav is the 3 dollar bar but it’s just anti climax when half the drinks aren’t available ...

Have previously eaten here and enjoyed it, but tonight’s meal was below par. Tried their spicy chicken salad which was literally onion, carrot, mung bean sprouts and shredded chicken. Tasted ok, but the ratios were all off. It should be called onion salad. After picking through the only chicken in the bowl, I was still left with a half full bowl of shredded onion. Eek! Not coming back for this. Staff were friendly enough, but the kitchen needs to get this stuff right or at least change what you call it!

We ordered litchi pork, chicken, noodles and fried rice. The first order took only a minute to come out. I was surprised on how quick it was. However, there was a 20 minute gap on each food which was very frustrating.<br/>Another thing which made us really difficult to eat was the temperature in the restaurant. It was awful. Too hot. I could hear other people complaining about how hot it was in there too.<br/>Overall, worth the price? No, I don't think so.

Was really looking forward to this place. The food is good, some dishes definitely better than others. The cumin lamb was really tasty as were the pancakes. The pork buns were average and the fried squid was not great. <br/>We felt a little unwanted when we got there - being told to move our table across the room and then being asked to move table all together because we were inconveniently placed. Our order was messed up a little bit, gave us spicy instead of original and forgot our pork buns until we reminded them. <br/>Despite this, it’s a pretty quirky place and not bad price for the food and portions!

Went to Belly Worship for late night supper at 9pm as it opens til late. We really enjoyed the pancake with duck and their special lychee pork.<br/><br/>The interior is funky and modern and the restaurant is clean. I like the idea of $3 unlimited drinks and snacks.<br/><br/>Nice asian-fusion twist at an affordable price and good service. Will definitely go back and try other dishes.<br/><br/>Would have loved it more if frozen veggies are not used in the fried rice😊

We ordered the pork belly bao, chicken teriyaki bao and two spicy pancakes with the potato slices topping on one and pork belly on the other. <br/><br/>Pork belly was more on the fatty side but it was okay. The potato slices are not what you expect, they taste like a cold pickle. I enjoyed them but my partner did not. Pancake was nice but a bit hard, would have loved them to be a bit fluffier. They also weren’t spicy at all! Everything tasted pretty good together like a little taco. <br/><br/>The Baos were both okay, not the best but for $7 really good value. Good portion size and good flavour. Was super filling. <br/><br/>As we were eating we thought everything was yum but in hindsight everything tasted exactly the same and we both had an MSG headache. Would probably come back if I had a hankering for the pancake but I would rather go somewhere with a bit more variety!

Belly Worship is right in the heart of dominion road, the restaurant is self service with cutlery and you order at the counter. The food came quickly and the staff were happy to explain how everything worked. We got the fried wontons, beef fried rice, sticky pork ribs and spicy duck pancake between two (ended up taking away a lot of food due to large portion sizes.) The fried wontons were full of flavour and the spicy duck pancake was my favourite dish by far - succulent duck and vegetables with a large flaky spicy pancake for only $13. There is also a $3 snack and drink buffet, however the snacks are average and the cups provided are tiny. Although $3 for unlimited drink and snacks it’s hard to complain. The restaurant itself was clean enough, although there were quite a few flies around when I went. <br/><br/>Food - 8/10<br/>Service - 8/10<br/>Price - 9/10<br/>Ambience - 7/10

Been wanting to come to this place for a long time due to the great reviews. The lamb was beautifully cooked and tasted amazing with the coriander. Shared the pancake and ribs with my friend and felt full very fast, the service is also fast here. The staff are friendly - the only let down was that the ribs were overcooked and chewy/dry, have yet to find ribs that are better than kiss kiss, really wished the meat fell off the bone, would’ve made it a 5 star review. A lot of competition on dominion road and these guys are currently 3rd on my list of favourites.

I came here last night with one of my mates, and was seated promptly. The service was great, we were asked if we had been here before and was then explained how the self service worked. They were also quick to take orders. <br/><br/>The ambience had a modern/Asian take. It was clean and organised, well lit, with nice decor - a stark contrast from the rest of dominion road. <br/><br/>For two people we ordered a spinach bun with pork belly - flavours came together very nicely, the pork belly almost melted in my mouth and was not too salty (which I feel often happens); a spicy pancake with spicy lamb - pancake was crispy, the lamb was well seasoned with lots of cumin, and the spice level was perfect; and pork chives and shrimp dumplings - these were my favourite, the dough was chewy and the filling had a lot of umami, delicious! <br/>The only downside was that the pancake was quite hard to eat together with the toppings so the different flavours didn't come together as nicely as they should have. <br/>We had only spent ~$30, so it was quite a good value. Would come back again.

Food serves fast, food tastes good among restaurant in dominion road. <br/>Good price for a casual eating place<br/>Staffs are friendly and polite<br/>The restaurant is clean and tidy<br/><br/>

Walk through and get seated with treats of popcorn to nibble on as you look through the menu. The wait staff walk you through the order of the restaurant ie. Self service of beverages, sauces, plates, etc. Great ambience, friendly service and delicious food! Love the hipster Asian vibe. My boyf and I came here for his birthday dinner, great place for a first date!<br/>Meals: spicy pancake w potato slices,<br/>:sichuan spicy chicken, sichuan dumplings

Really nice place, interior is clean and modern. The litchi pork which was super crispy and tender, definitely a nice twist on the classic sweet and sour pork. The potatoes and lychee in the dish were also well cooked. We also ordered the teriyaki chicken bun and the pork belly bun, both were good and very filling. The wonton soup was alright, filling was a bit bland and lacked a little something. Probably wouldn’t order the wontons again but that being said, they were still decent. The $3 soda deal and snacks deal was good but you don’t really have time to go up to get snacks more than once or twice. I liked how most of the serving equipment was self service. Definitely a nice place, prices are very reasonable and will probably be back.

This is my go to for Asian takeout. Love the litchi pork and the dumplings are bomb!! <br/><br/>I can taste a lot of msg in the food which is probably why it’s so good. Definitely not somewhere to go if you’re watching your weight but with a name like Belly Worship what to you expect.

I definitely won’t be returning to Belly Worship again. The shrimp, pork and chive dumplings tasted off, almost as if the filling had dishwashing liquid mixed into it (I initially thought that it was the pan that might’ve had some leftover dishwashing liquid on it thus the taste. But after trying the pastry and filling separately I quickly realised it was 100% the filling). Litchi pork was nice, but not amazing. The coconut rice was probably my favourite thing as it was cooked perfectly and was a good accompaniment.

Overall a pleasant experience with some of the dishes great but some were a miss.<br/>Starting with the pancake. Crispy pancake with fluffy centre. We ordered the chicken filling with it.<br/>Next dish was the litchi pork which was also delicious. Price for the dish was only $10, which is well worth it.<br/>The chicken and corn siu mai was a miss for me. The chicken tasted like canned chicken which ruined the overall taste of each siu mai.<br/>$3 unlimited drinks and snacks is such good value!<br/>Would still go back and try a few of the other dishes.<br/>The restaurant was nicely decorated with plenty of lights adding to the feel! Service was normal and the fold arrived quickly.<br/><br/>Food: 3/5<br/>Environment: 4/5<br/>Service: 3/5

Restaurant was hot and not air conditioned. Temperature outside was cooler than inside. Food was below average and cutlery was greasy.<br/><br/>Not professional.

I have done few takeaways from this place. I love the spicy pancake. Noodles are tasty BUT overly cabbages in the food & smells so cabbage. Chicken salad is 70% cabbage, hardly any chicken pieces. I couldn't eat at all. Please consider cutting out the cabbage as I like to keep visiting the place.
Hoana
We got the chicken noodles, spinach pork bun and lamb pancake thing. Everything was super delish apart from the pork bun which was a lil on the dry side. However they do have generous portions but you do need to wait quite a while to get a table
Samantha
Came in her spontaneously last weekend after driving past it a few times. Always drawn to it from its bright funky decor. We ordered a whole bunch of things and was surprised at how fast it came out. Pricing is pretty reasonable and the portions are really huge staff are also really friendly . A massive stand out for me was the spicy pancake with the pork belly and the litchi pork. I really enjoyed both of them. They have plenty of sauces at the sauce station. <br/><br/>They also have a deal where you pay $3 and get unlimited soft drink, popcorn, pretzels and golden beans. A little disappointed though because the drink machine was out of order. I’m hoping they fix it by the time I go back. All in all I really enjoyed it and can’t wait to go back.
Karen
Horrible food!<br/>Cute little place, love the set up but food was an absolute let down.<br/>We ordered the sichuan dumplings, spicy pancake, litchi pork and this other chicken/fish dish (forgot what it was called, it was new on the menu).<br/>The litchi pork seemed like a very promising dish and rather popular but it was super plain, the sweet and sour sauce was way too thin for it to stick to the meat at all. The dumplings were absolutely horrible, not spicy and no flavour. The pastry was like wet cardboard and was just falling away from the filling. The chicken/fish thing was odd. The only ok thing was the pancake. <br/>When a staff member came and asked how things were we told them it wasn't very good, and that we didn't like the chicken/fish thing, they did say it was a new item they were trialing. However, no action was taken to address any concerns.

Come hungry because the food at Belly Worship is the shizz. I came with 3 vegetarians and they all left full and happy. I ordered the spinach taco bun with pork belly and the litchi pork. Both were droolworthy, yet I couldn’t finish thanks to generous portions. I’m lucky to live in the area, but I would happily travel from further afield to come here. The unlimited soft drinks and snacks for $3 is a nice bonus but be warned, you may be too full to take advantage! The interior is super clean and is a fresh of breath air on this strip of Dominion road. Friendly staff and totally affordable too :)
Kate
What a little gem!<br/><br/>I wish I had found this place sooner as the food is so tasty and of reasonable value.<br/><br/>We ordered the litchi pork, a definite must have, you can't go and not have this dish as it is so tasty and of a good portion size. We also ordered the Thai Chilli Beef & Corn dumplings which came with 15 dumplings, really filled us up.<br/><br/>Staff here were so lovely, you could tell they were very hard working, polite and friendly people.<br/><br/>A bonus was the unlimited snacks (popcorn, gold peas, pretzels) and drinks for only $3 per person. <br/><br/>1000% going back to this restaurant again, <br/><br/>Thank you Belly Worship!

I really like belly worship - funky interior, kids love the $3 limitless drinks & snacks (the popcorn in particular), and you can get your own cups, cutlery, plates etc and takeaway containers also.<br/><br/>What to order: The vege fried noodles and vege salad are delicious and well priced. If you don't like spicy food make sure you specify original noodles as they automatically gave us the spicy version (good for me and Miss 13, but not the toddler). Also good are the pancakes- you order the pancake first and add fillings: pork, duck, shrimp etc. The litchi pork (pretty much sweet n sour pork) is worth ordering too. My vegetarian daughter also really liked her tofu bao.<br/><br/>Some dishes I wasn't so keen on: dumplings (thick skin, flavour better elsewhere) & the fries.<br/><br/>
Hannah Jamieson
Standard Chinese fare in a slightly more exciting atmosphere. Food was good but not outstanding compared to what else is offered on dominion Road. However portions were a good size and price was good. We ordered $40 of food for two people and took plenty takeaway. The spicy pancake was very good but it was the only spicy thing we ordered that was actually spicy. Dumpling filling was very good but dough was a bit thick. I like the self service everything you need easily available from chilli oil to takeaway containers. $3 unlimited snacks and soft drink was intriguing, however you pay at the start and food comes out quickly so I don't know if you'd even get a chance to snack or go for a second coke. We just got water and tea :) it's a nice place for a quick stop as you can't get a beer or byo, wouldn't recommend for a big gathering, unlike other Chinese restaurants. (though there was a family of 10 next to us trying which was amusing) it's just not really that kind of place for eating with more than 4 people. For quick dinners for Coules and friends it's very good! Id like to come back and try a few more items some day.

Friendly staff, even have free popcorn while you wait. The food here is always good! I recommend the Pork Ribs, Siu Mai and fried dumplings. Returning customer here! Keep up the good work!

This pork belly is Too fat... Very Fat. .. and we found hair in the BUN! OMG! Maybe next time check everything before we put food into our mouth....

Belly Worship, where to begin.<br/>Located in the heart of China central, belly worship is a great place if you are looking for a affordable yummy feed.<br/>I ordered litchi pork for my main which was a very sweet dish (not so keen on sweet) however I must say it was very easy to eat and came out promptly. I then had the pork belly pancake which was amazing (highly recommend) I also tried the pork ribs which were fall apart tender however lacked in flavour a bit. Overall was a great place to go with friends, family or your partner. Self service is never my favourite however $3 unlimited refills and popcorn is a no brainer!
Shay Paranihi
I absolutely love coming here! I work night shift so it's great to be able to drop by late at night and still experiencing awesome food and service. I highly recommend the pork belly pancake and the litchi pork is a must! It's sweet but not too sweet and the pork still has a bit of crunch to it. Theres also unlimited drinks and snacks for $3! The staff are all pretty cool and even made sure I was safe to go out to my car one night when there was someone outside asking for money and lifts. I can't recommend the food and place enough!<br/>
Divjot Singh
The Spicy pancake is to die for & my favourite is the one with Lamb; add their signature sichuan spicy dumplings & a bubble tea .. believe me you’ll be in Love & heaven at a same time 🥰

Food: 4/5<br/>Service: 5/5<br/>Ambience: 5/5<br/>Price: 3.5/5<br/><br/>Arrived here on a Sunday for an early dinner with my fellow foodie at about 5.30pm-ish. Place was relatively empty with a few diners. We were greeted straight-away and was seated.<br/><br/>Food: We ordered the Litchi Pork, Prawn and Pork steamed dumplings, Pancake with Pork Belly along with the $3 unlimited food and snacks. <br/><br/>Very quick food service. Can confirm the Litchi Pork is REALLY yum, a must try dish (5/5)! A nice twist on the sweet and sour pork at Chinese restaurant. Litchi/Lychee actually works with the dish.<br/><br/>Prawn and Pork dumplings were OK. Nothing special, however hoped they were more fillings (3.5/5). <br/><br/>Pancake itself was delicious (4/5). It was seasoned with sauce and peanuts but still light and crispy. The pork belly was nice - although not much much and more fat pieces - worked well together with the pancake. <br/><br/>Loved the idea Unlimited self-serviice soft drinks and snacks for $3!! Deffs worth it! <br/>
The Poor Foodie
Food: 3.6/5<br/>Service: 4.5/5<br/>Overall: 4/5<br/><br/>Finally came to this place with my friend and we ordered prawn dumplings (15pcs for $12), spicy pancake with pork belly and litchi pork. <br/><br/>First of all, litchi pork is lit and I highly recommend people ordering this. It’s like sweet and sour pork but not too sour and there are actually some litchi in the dish and they taste awesome. The potato soak up the sweet sauce also. <br/>Pancake was alright with lots of peanuts on top but it didn’t have too much layers like a roti. It’s a bit messy tearing the pancake and all the peanuts drop also😂 pork belly is nicely braised tho. <br/>Dumplings were slightly dry and could be better if there were more filling in them. But they tasted pretty good. There are unlimited drinks and popcorns available if you add $3pp but tbh your mouth will be busy eating all the food so don’t dig into the popcorns. $3 is a good deal if you want to drink a lot of soft drinks :) <br/><br/>We ended up paying 20ish pp so it’s slightly pricey (for two poor students). but this place has good lighting so you can take all those Instagram worthy pictures.

So we spent about $130 and ordered pretty much every key thing on the menu. As a restaurant that is supposed to specialize in share plates, it was pretty average. The litchi pork tasted like sweet and sour pork but the pork wasn't the best, the braised tofu was far too sweet, the spicy pancake was thin and dry and topped with a lot of cumin and turmeric making it difficult to eat, the Sichuan dumplings were okay and probably matched barilla in style and flavor but I still find Eden noodles superior, the fried chicken was far too dry and lacked any marination, the spinach bao bun was also lacking flavor as well as the vegetable noodles which were more carrots and onions than noodles . The $3 extra for soda, chips and popcorn was neat, especially if you love fizzy drinks because you can keep topping up, rather than pay $5 for one can yeno. To add, most of the dishes were spicy or had little bits of spice on it. The dumplings that weren't supposed to be, had spice. Same as the sizzling hot plate and the shredded lamb we ordered. I'm probably giving the place a 3.5 stars. I would say it tops chinoserie, but kiss kiss leads. Considering we tried a great deal of the menu, I wouldn't say it's worth the hype. Portions were small but considering the $8 prices, it makes sense. As a group of 5 people we pretty much demolished everything so I would definitely say portion size wasn't impressive. Maybe as a mixed Asian, I had higher expectations with this kind of food. However, my white friends did enjoy it. <br/><br/>To note, the dish I favored most was surprisingly the lamb sizzling plate.

Third visit today in just one week! Unique dining experience. First visit everything was great apart from forgetting my main dish which was brought out once everything and everyone else was finished (Braised Tofu) a favourite dish of mine but not on this occasion, was as if they used sugar instead of salt. A free drink was given to excuse the wait which was nice. Second visit was great, could not fault! We love the pork belly buns! Though we are left feeling totally stink about our visit today! No one came to serve us at the counter for at least five minutes even after trying to get kitchens attention then fries were brought out instead of the squid we had ordered - two different staff tried to resolve the issue coming back and forth to our table trying to talk to us while our mouthed were full to then bring it out once we were finished and ask us to pay a further $4 Fried rice was absolute shite.. not fried! Just a pile of glupe with bits of carrot and peas. I usually only write up positive reviews though we are still feeling f*** off hours later. All I can suggest is better trained staff as otherwise the place is great! Total bugger! Though highly recommend the pork buns and dumplings as well as repeating your order back twice!!! Ekkkkk!

Dined here during quite period, deffinantly great service but I would not recommend waiting in line for 30minutes for a meal.<br/><br/>A couple dishes well cooked and seasoned to perfection I really did feel like I was within a street market eating Asian style street food. The food deffinantly came out faster than it went down! Asian restaurants sure know how to efficiently work a pass. Westerners need to step it up. 3 words. Mise en plus laddies and gents... Mise en plus...<br/><br/>Bathroom was clean indicating great hygiene standards put into place. Highly recommend over Lone star 100% cheaper and tastier.<br/>Overall a great innovative pop up that deserves credit. There are plenty of places around Auckland you will be disappointed.

Yummy food, good portions and fast service! Definitely recommend the spicy pancake and the litchi pork. It was delicious! My belly has been worshipped 😆

Always delicious! Food is served super fast and the staff is super friendly. We had the spicy pork belly pancake and the fried pork and chive dumplings. Sooooooooooo good! 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼 w/ Louise

My new favourite asian-fusion restaurant. Excellent customer service. Staff are friendly and attentive. Food was great and arrived pretty quick. Portions were generous. Place is clean and affordable. Beverages, cutlery, bowls and sauces are self-service. This place is instagram-worthy with it’s funky neon lights and atmoshphere was lively. <br/><br/>Between three of us we ordered the litchi pork, spicy pancake, sichuan dumplings, vege fried noodles, spinach bun w/ tofu and spinach bun w/ terriyaki chicken.<br/><br/>I didn’t like the filling of the sichuan dumplings but sauce was good and spinach bun needed more flavour, the chicken was also a bit dry<br/><br/>I would recommend the signature spicy pancake and litchi pork. The litchi pork was mouth-watering, tastes like sweet and sour pork but accompanied with potatoes and litchi. The spicy pancake was delicious; soft on the inside, crispy on the outside along with 6 toppings you can add. <br/><br/>Would definitely eat here again! <br/><br/>Service: 5/5<br/>Food:4/5<br/>Ambience:5/5<br/>Cleanliness:4/5<br/><br/><br/><br/><br/>

Friendly and attentive staff. Cool menu concept, I liked the add on snacks and soft drinks option. Food was good, stand out dish - beef dumplings!

Cannot find even a single thing to complaint about right from the moment me and my friend entered, till the point we left. Everything was fantastic.<br/>Had the litchie pork and the spicy pancake and they were yum! We also ordered the beef noodles and they were fantastic.<br/>The $3 unlimited drinks and snacks go perfectly with the food we ordered.<br/>At the end after eating sooo much and no space for food we did ask the server what should we order next time? And she simply got us 2 small slices of pork ribs and they were just delicious. Me and my friend thought this was the best customer service we have received.<br/>Will be back for other stuff on the menu.
Daniel Kim
We came in at not so busy time. The food they served were delicious. Some of the notable ones were: litchi pork and the spicy pancake. The venue was clean and staff were friendly, so overall a great dining experience!
Gloria
Perfect ambience for a last minute night out, welcoming, courteous and polite staff.  Thoroughly enjoyed the food and relished every bite. Thankyou
Peter John Obillo
Heard a lot of things about this place and they did not disappoint! Personal favourites by us were the pancakes with rendang, litchi pork and egg tofu! Would definitely go back.
Breadzania
We ordered quite a few things to try. The dumplings were probably my favourite. The salad was quite nice too. The Bao needed a more flavorful sauce. I didn't like the bean paste on the pancake. Worth a try
Kelvin
Been here a few times the first time was great the litchi pork is amazing but recently its been very oily, the bao fillings taste really good but the actual bao is a bit dry.<br/>You must try the spicy pancake that is amazing, and all the fillings are great with it<br/>The fried chicken is good but its over priced.<br/>Will come back for the spicy pancakes :)
Zhong Wan
Lovely environment, great food. Came with a group of friends after work, we had to put tables together. The staff and owner was very friendly. Would definitely recommand!
Emmeline Lee
Good vibes here and staff are very friendly. Service is fast too! You have to order and pay at the counter first. We ordered the litchi pork, pancakes with duck and pork belly. All were yum as! Will be back again!

Amazingly tasty food! A very unique concept! Love their Spicy Pancake’s and their Litchin Pork. Would definitely come back here again! 10/10

Great food, Friendly staff , cozy atmosphere , beautiful place, definetly must try their signature spicy pancake with pork belly topping! yum! I like the soft japanese tofu and the fried dumplings. Definetly will come back with friends and family.

Came here after a tiring shift with colleagues. We were impressed with the shop's cleanliness, which is typically lacking in many late night shops in Balmoral.<br/><br/>Majority of us ordered their house specialty pancakes with pork belly, while one tried their litchi pork. Overall, dishes were yummy and had the right flavour. Portions were generous as well.<br/>Combined with affordability and late night operating hours, this shop is now officially our post-shift hangout.<br/><br/>I would recommend the 3-dollar unlimited drink and snack promo if you are fond of fizzies and finger snacks (popcorn, chick peas, bhujas, and others).
Zachary Wang
I must say it's the best restaurant in Auckland. It's really beautiful and wonderful. The food are pretty good and the staffs are kindly. It's really nice
Ellen.tocher
The restaurant inside is cool and the drinks are free but the food was quite disappointing. The dumplings were good but the rest of the food we ordered wasn't very nice. I didn't even bother taking the left over food in a doggy bag for lunch.
Elise Litchfield
Really good food and selection of food! Flavors amazing and great value for money. Food comes out very very quickly though so would only order 1-2 things at a time as it won’t all fit on the table/will go cold. Would not recommend the fried beans at all, it was just over cooked edamame beans.
Timothyk
Great food! Love the spinach bun with pork belly! <br/>Service is great, waiters are very friendly and helpfull.<br/>Great place to hangout, to get snack, and to eat with family!
FoodiesTable
Food is very average. The dumpling tasted weird. But nice to have free popcorn. Pancake was very delicious. Unlimited drinks is cool too. Staff were very friendly.
Ari Kim
Great food! The dumplings are a must! The spicy beef was a personal favourite. Food was brought out pretty quickly. Excellent, excellent service from every staff we came across. Will def be returning!!
Cath Carberry
Great place to eat in... but not takeaways.  Ordered Kung Fu kebabs - not good.  looked really bad - over cooked broccoli, meat = skinny little slithers - tofu = rubber.   Waited 30 minutes! :(.  If I return I will stick to the Spicy Pancakes.<br/>Big put off, kitchen staff dripping in sweat :(
Yan Wong
Need to give a thumbs up for the service👍, staff was nice and friendly. But the food is of a really really low standard. As an Asian I know what is it suppose to taste like but this place is like a big rip off, price is not too bad but the taste is just not good. My partner ordered a chicken noodle but the noodle taste really sweet and smothered in oil. This is the place that I will NEVER return again. Not a hater, just sharing my experience.
Diner8Here
This little diner actually found us via the bouncer giving away free pop corn outside as soon as we rounded the corner then there it was, no need to look for the place. <br/>You need to pay up front first like at a food court and as we did come on a busy Saturday nite, we discreetly jump the queue as diners not realising this or sitting  there wondering why no one not taking theirs orders. We had the pork/corn dim sims and butterfly fried chook wings. What I like about place is one can helpself to plates, cutlery, drinks, condiments etc.<br/>Very nice brite n colourful ambience too.
Vanessa Fork
Went to one of the restaurant next door and parked right in front of this shop and decided to bring the whole family to come try one day and that one fine day was today. Ordered a bunch of stuff from their menu and decided to try them out, food came out super fast even for my Asian standard. They were not busy at all given it's a Monday. Food was okay. One dish that stands out to me was the litchi pork. The spinach taco bun was a bit dense for my liking. One of the dish that most of us on the table did not like is the tofu.
Dannielle Andrews
Cool atmosphere. Good food. Self service sauces which I appreciated greatly. Litchi pork was flavorful and moreish. Their pancake was quite good, we added pork belly.
Boty
Great new place in Balmoral. Not a big variety of food but well prepared meals. Good service, a bit different from the rest of this type of restaurants as you order when you arrive. Good option of refill beverages and snacks.
Jennifer Smitheram
We ate here last night because my son loves dumplings, but all of us feel off colour now and we all ate different dishes. Be wary unless you have cast iron constitution.
Josh Ua
The dumplings were amazing. Very flavoursome. The noodles was delicious. Tried the additional snack and drink. It was weird with the pop-corn, Indian snacks and corn chips, felt this didn’t go with the theme however can’t go wrong with the unlimited drinks (might need to upsize the cup size though). Great customer service.
Charis Beh
Been here a couple of times, nothing to criticize about given the price. Excellent pancakes and litchi porks! Keep up the good work. Will be visiting again to try out other dishes.

Update: dined here again recently for lunch and was disappointed with the food. It wasn't as good as the first time. The Litchi pork seemed old like they had re-fried the pork. It lacked that crispy puffy coating. The noodles were really greasey and for an additional $4 for beef there was hardly any.<br/><br/>This restaurant stands out amongst all the other restaurants in this strip of Dominion Road. With its bright orange lights and signage, it's hard to miss.<br/><br/>The cutlery, beverages and sauces are all self service. You wait to be seated but have to order and pay at the counter.<br/><br/>The service service is friendly and quick. The food is pumped out faster than fast food restaurants. The recommended litchi pork is a must try. It's so worth it and a generous portion. The pancake is crispy and tasty as well.<br/><br/>The dumplings were OK, a bit oily for my liking. The coconut rice has a subtle coconut fragrance to it. The $3 soft drinks and snack bar is pretty decent if you're into soft drinks.<br/>

Bloody good dumplings (pork and chive) 5/5<br/>The chicken doesn’t taste as good as it looks but it’s pretty good too 4/5<br/>Taco bun (pork belly) wasn’t bad 3.5/5<br/>Spicy pancake was unique 4/5<br/>The $3 unlimited sides is a waste of money unless if u wanna fill urself up with coke and popcorn <br/>Customer service 5/5 <br/>Setup 5/5<br/>I would definitely return for the dumplings <br/><br/>

We came here on a Sunday night at about 9pm and it was packed. We got the last available table. Turnover is fast though. The pork and chive dumplings (fried) are so tasty, love the $3 per person unlimited drinks and snacks.. Such a great idea! Service is fantastic. The only let down for us were the taco buns. I don't know why these are called taco buns as they are pretty much just a green bao bun. In the picture on the menu it shows the buns being long, however they are just round like normal bao. We got the pork belly and chicken buns and for us these weren't the greatest. The pork bun had no sauce in it at all and was really dry, the chicken bun did have mayo which was nicer but none of us liked the bun itself. Was really dry and not nice.. Everything else was great though and will be back for sure!

Awesome food, even awesome-er staff. Servings were generous and served promptly. Bring an empty stomach if you plan on eating here. Definitely a keeper.

Belly worship has lovely staff and a very hip vibe. $3 for a soda with unlimited refills and popcorn.<br/>Litchi(lychee) pork was delicious and crispy with a very yummy sauce. The spiced green beans were a bit over cooked but had a beautiful spice flavour.<br/>I will definitely be visiting here again.

I read about this place online and it was everything it was hyped up to be. Quirky and unique. The food we ordered came out quickly and was clearly freshly made. It’s was all amazing and the portion sizes were huge! <br/>Staff were friendly and explained the menu well.<br/>There is self service for plates and ordering etc but it fits in well with the likes of other restaurants on Dominion Rd. <br/>This was a great meal and it was really well<br/>Priced too!

Thank you Belly Worship for your excellent customer service and management.<br/><br/>I truly respect what you do to your business for your customer.<br/>You handle any issue very well.<br/><br/>The food is amazing. Truly delicious and the drinks is so good. Not only the food is beautiful presented...its actually arrive at a reasonable time.<br/><br/>Highly recommend this place to everyone.<br/><br/>A special thank you to the owner for 'turning the table around 'in perfection 🙂.<br/>Will definitely come again.<br/>Loving what you and your team do for this busy restaurant!

Nice place - really recommended. The food taste really good, we ordered fried pork and chives dumpling, kungfu kebab, pork litchi, sizzling kungfu tofu, sliced beef in chili oil, bamboo chicken and pancake with pork belly, duck and mustard yolk prawn.. my fave one is the sizzling tofu and slice beef, delicious eventhough fotget to take a picture of it.. 🤤🤤🤤<br/><br/>Tried their food stall in lantern festival 2019 and of course litchi pork it’s the fave

Came here for lunch on a Sunday afternoon as I've heard it's the place to try. We had the chicken, mushroom and corn sui mai and the signature pancake with pork belly. The people there was really nice and food was out really quick as well.<br/><br/>The prices were low and that's because the serving size reflects that. Between 2 people this didn't fill us up which left us a bit unsettled and it got quite tedious having to fill our cups every 5 minutes even with the unlimited amenities for just 3 dollars.<br/><br/>Overall, the food was nice but nothing really extremely special about it. I think a came into the store expecting a lot with all the hype around them opening.

Revisited again after 5months and I’m sorry to say that the service and food are worse. We walked in and the cashier girl just handed us menu without saying anything and back to served other customers. We were just confused and walked inside and saw that no available table. Then someone came to us and told us to order food before getting table. Anyway there were many servers there but we still have to help ourselves getting water, cutlery and etc. Food was just not as first time we came. You can see the photo of pork belly we ordered this time, looked and tasted worse, like they were not cooked long enough. Fried wonton $12 for 12 oily wontons. I’m not going to order that again. Spinach bun had nothing special about it. They actually put too much mayo that over tasted teriyaki chicken. I’m not sure if I want to go back here.<br/><br/>First visit in Nov 2018: I rated this place 4 stars.<br/>Another good option on Dominion rd. Super super quick to get the food. Service was great. Spicy pancake is not spicy but it’s good to eat with pork belly. Interesting flavor. Their famous litchi pork is like sweet and sour pork that add litchi and instead of pineapple they put deep fried wedges. Spicy sesame chicken was alright, not spicy just a tiny kick of Sichuan paper but it’s not too bad. The $3 unlimited fizzy abs snack is good for kids I think. Overall we had good experience here with good food and service.
Rose
Really enjoyed pork belly with spicy pancake, but the pancake wasn't spicy at all! I wasn't wowed by the stir fried noodles or spinach bao, but I would def come back for the pancake pork belly situation in a heartbeat. The snack buffet is kinda strange - corn chips, pop corn, Fanta etc. Good, but strange. The decor is very slick, 10/10 for that.

We booked a table and still had to wait for one to become available. While waiting by the counter we looked through the menu. So you order at the counter and then head to the table (once you have one). We ordered a variety of things to try. They also had unlimited snacks and soft drink for $3. Wasn't sure if the water and tea were free.<br/>Everything was self-service and most things that you need like bowls and cutlery are located around the shelves at the edge of the kitchen.<br/>The food was mostly nice. I didn't like the lamb "risotto" though.<br/>The menu isn't too large so it is feasible to try everything on it.

The food was very tasty and well presented. This place is located in dominion road with bright light and colorful decoration, good price, freshly cooked and clean environment. The fish come out smelling savory and appetizing. I have tested all the sides for the pancake, pork belly is definitely the best one. The tofu is outstanding in taste, it is so soft and smooth and I am really like the texture. The lichi pork and chicken wings are one of my favorites. It was very delectable and mouthwatering when I tasted the lichi pork. All the flavor is kept in while grilling and goes well with a cold drink ( the $3 sides for unlimited soft drinks). I really enjoy I can drink and eat small sides as much as I want!!<br/>The prices are extremely reasonable compared to similar places.

We didn’t intend to eat lunch this day. Walking Dominion Rd restaurants. Belly Worship rated highest on Zomato of restaurants in the area. We ate steamed bun and dumplings. Very well presented. lovely and clean, bright and fresh. Lots of tasty sauces to accompany your meal. Super speedy Customer Service, even offering waxed takeaway boxes if you need to. Very good prices. Definitely worth heading to this restaurant. We left full & happy. 😋

Came here with two friends, spent 75$ total and we were so damn full. The food was amazing for the price (and just pretty darn good in general too). <br/><br/>You pay before you eat and get your cutlery/drinks yourself (think nandos). <br/><br/>Litchi pork was lit.<br/>Spicy pancake with pork belly, darn good. <br/>Chicken wings were so amazing...<br/>And the teriyaki chicken bao thing was also pretty tasty.<br/><br/>Giving a 5 because there was really nothing to complain about and the food / price was really good.
Hans
Lovely staff, great food and comes out fast. Best thing about this place is its very affordable price. Always keep coming back to this place 👍🏼👍🏼

Fast service, cheap, and delicious! 😋Love this place!!💕 Great place to come for late night outs. Their foods are amazing, especially their litchi pork and pancake with pork belly. Would definitely keep coming back! 😬<br/>Food : 4.5/5<br/>Service: 5/5<br/>Ambience: 4.5/5

I came across this restaurant when I was strolling in Dominion Road. The bright lights and decor captured my attention. The place is very spacious and has a nice set-out. The staff is very friendly👍🏻We ordered Litchi Pork, Pork Belly Taco Bun, and Pancake. Each and every food is super delish!! The litchi pork is unlike other sweet and sour pork (as it uses lychee instead of pineapple which adds the sweetness). The real MVP tho is the BAMBOO CHICKEN WINGS!!!! Every bite is crispy and sasavory. Will deff come back again!!! Excellent food and excellent staff👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Adrianna
Fast service, affordable and delicious food. Open late which is nice... Note: you have to order and pay for food at the same time at the beginning. Would come again.
Panda
Yummy food with affordable price! Tried many of their nicely presented dishes and totally in love with each and every one of them. The staff were also exceptionally friendly. Plus point for the $3 unlimited Popcorn, pretzels and softdrinks!! Will definitely come back 👍🏻

Great place for mouth-watering asian fast food with friends or family. <br/>The interior and store vibe are awesome, with friendly staff. The idea of $3 snacks and soda was creative! <br/>Came here with a group of friends and we ordered litchi pork, bamboo chicken wings, dumplings, pancakes, and siew mai, and everything were delicious! <br/>The prices are also very affordable. <br/>Will defs come back.

First time at Belly Worship and we loved it! Very reasonable price for large portions.<br/>As a vegan, I had the vege salad and sliced potato pancake which was delicious!<br/>My recommendation is the addition of more vegan options such as tofu dishes as there was only egg tofu available.<br/>Very delicious food, great service, would definitely go back!

I’ve been here a couple of times now. The staff always have a smile on their face and genuinely seem happy to see you. The service is super fast and efficient and it has been a great place to drop in to late at night. The Litchi Pork is a must! Same with the fried chicken if you are with friends. Spicy Lamb Pancake 🙌. As always with Dominion Road, great Asian deliciousness but parking in the area is a pain but worth the hassle! Definitely worth a visit for a cheap and cheerful dinner with mates.

Great cheap easts restaurant. For 3 of us we spent a reasonable $52 and we were certainly worshipping our bellies. We ordered the duck pancake, bamboo chicken drumsticks, two tacos - pork belly and teriyaki chicken and a pork dish. All were super tasty. The pancake was the favourite! Service was great, restaurant was clean. Food was super quick (it was a week day) and the self service of plates and cutlery was easy. You need to pay at the counter first which is not uncommon for Asian restaurants. Would highly recommend you go on your next trip to Dom road to try Belly Worship.
Ashley
Absolutely amazing! Greeted at the door with a welcoming smile and invited inside into the warmth. Great value for money and even better taste ! Tried for the first time last night ! Will definitely be back to try the whole menu ! We ate the taco bun with pork belly .. and let me tell you ! Melt in your mouth and to die for ! Also they offer this awesome deal with unlimited drinks and snacks for 3$ what’s not to love !

Belly Worship was so satisfying and left me and my brother so satisfied that we told all our family and friends about it once we got home (via social media) <br/><br/>The spicy pancakes with duck and their siu mai was amazing! And their customer service topped it off even more and that really does make a huge difference!!!<br/><br/><br/>

An order first then find your table concept. Also with unlimited drinks and popcorn for $3. An excellent place to take kids. They also do dumplings, pancakes and a delicious litchi pork. <br/>The pork was perfectly fried and covered with a well proportioned sweet and sour sauce. <br/>Their pork belly was melt in the mouth soft and went perfectly well with the pancakes. <br/>Also the price is very very affordable. <br/>The staff are very friendly and the decor is bright. Nothing to fault except maybe a bigger venue with more tables. <br/>

Should have taken a photo of the raw chicken siu mai we had to sent back to get steamed again. Waitress was of the opinion that because they use meat from the chicken drum that the meat is more pink than normal and that it is in fact cooked. To me if I can't even chew through pink meat that looks raw, I'm sure it's raw. Opened 2 siu mai and both were raw in the middle.<br/><br/>When waitress brought siu Mai back still felt the need to justify the pinkness of the chicken.<br/><br/>Other food did not live up to its expectations, no litchi taste in litchi pork, noodles were smothered in oil. Cool concept and set up but not going back because as above.

Stumbled upon this place because the other restaurants closed their kitchens at 830pm and it was mums birthday. The guy at the front cashier showed me their menu and we thought we would just go for it. He suggested the pancakes and duck and their litchi pork. We also got their spinach bao with terriyaki chicken.<br/><br/>The pancakes were so good. I prefered the non spicy one. We got the duck and pork belly as the topping. Litchi pork was super super tasty. It had pieces of litchi fruit and fried potatoes. It was so good we ordered a second plate of it.<br/><br/>Now the food was fantastic and the price was just right but what I loved the most was their service. They were quick, helpful and so polite. They greeted my mum on her birthday when they were ending their shifts and on their breaks and when we left the owner thanked us. And thank you to the staff for giving us some free dessert, the golden crisps. It was like a chinese churro.<br/><br/>Thank you so much Belly Worship for the great food and service. Definitely coming back soon.

Great fast food dinner with friends.<br/>We ate as a group of eight last night and shared soany dishes from here. The stand out were the sui mai, the sliced pork, ribs and the pancakes are fab. I didn't love the sweet litchi pork but all the other dishes are very tasty and we'll seasoned. Grab some sauce for the pancakes and your sorted. Spice level is good nice tingling after but nothing to blow your mouth off. The staff are so friendly and helpful as they set up the larger table and the service really is quick and with a smile. Definitely be back for some good fast food

Got there at midnight. We had a chinese dessert and really enjoyed it. Its a bright new place, with awesome friendly attention and not expensive at all! We will come back, for sure!

The food was really yum! We got the litchi pork and it was delicious, the potatoes were great! The portion sizes were really big and it was well worth the price. The decorations were really pretty and the staff were so nice and friendly! Really recommend and I will definitely be back! :)

Cheap and delicious Asian-fusion food? Check. <br/>Friendly service? Check.<br/>Unlimited corn chips and fizzy and closing time of 2am? Bonus. <br/><br/>You will find all this and more at the newly opened Belly Worship, a Chinese-fusion style restaurant located on Dominion Road. On the menu, there are a range of dishes available – steamed and fried dumplings, taco buns, spicy pancakes, stir-fried noodles, chicken, pork, beef and tofu dishes. The restaurant is not licensed, but they do offer a self-service bar where you pay just $3 for unlimited soft drink, alongside popcorn, corn chips and pretzels. This is a great idea – something to snack on while you wait for the rest of your party. It is also self-service for plates, bowls, cutlery and added sauces. <br/><br/>*Click to read more!

It's really more the novelty factor than anything else. Sampled most of the menu and it really wasn't anything to rave about. The fried chicken was a tad dry and the dumplings weren't as tasty as Shaolin‘s. The unlimited snacks are a cute idea but I see it being somewhere you would only visit once, as there are a few other places on Dominion that are more worth the repeat visit.

Didn't expect a Chinese Restaurant to have such a nice & modern decoration. Food is "fushion" style, which is great, especially the "taco". Would recommend to my non-Chinese friends and colleagues to have a try.

we walked past this place on the first day of their opening, we tried it and absolutely loved it! The place is not traditional Chinese, it’s more like European Asian, the food were delicious, prices aren’t expensive and service was excellent. Very friendly people! Would definitely go back!
Dani
Came across this new store and thought id try it out. Thought the snacks were mediocre and reckon they could improve on their snack game, however, still a good idea. Spicy pancakes were delish though. <br/><br/>Service: 5/5 <br/>Food: 3/5 <br/>Whole store vibe: 5/5

Great service and awesome recommendations from the staff! <br/>I had the mustard yolk shrimp with a pancake and it was very filling<br/>Loved this place and will come back soon!

Loved this place!! Food tasted great, you'll get a good value for what you pay. The place is clean, bright and had excellent service. Will definitely be back!

Belly Workship was everything I expected and more, the first time i walked past this place the name REALLY got me...never knew belly could be a fetish? megapause, i had to do a double take damn, but the interior decor also really caught my attention cos it’s so nicely done, and upon my actual visit, it made me even like it more! The food was great and service was good, the waiters were attentive and polite, it almost reminds me of restaurants in china, the way they represent themselves, kudos to the owner of this place for getting it right!<br/><br/>Food- 9/10<br/>Service- 8.5/10<br/>Aesthetics-9/10

When: Friday lunchtime<br/>What we Ordered: Litchi Pork, Pork Belly, Coconut Rice, Chicken Mushroom and Corn Siu Mai (not in the photo), buffet of appetisers and softdrinks.<br/>Price: Value for Money. Affordable.<br/>Taste: Good food. The pork belly was so tender. Yum! The siu mai was on the lean side since it was chicken. Hopefully, there’ll be a pork variant.<br/>Service: Excellent. Friendly crew.<br/>Ambience: Cool, funky place. <br/>Will definitely come back to try their salad on skewers and their pancake.
Shenée Geaney-Jones
I got the beef dumplings takeaway at 1am because I was craving a dumplings and it’s the most welcoming looking place this side of dominion road. The dumplings took ages to come but when we got them, they were thick and juicy! Not spicy at all but the batter had some chewiness to it which was so good! Also these dumplings are so fat it’s beautiful. Solid 3.5 bumped to 4 because the guy at the counter was super lovely
Amit Tripuraneni
Good service, good food combined with a nice, tidy and funky sitdown. Had their Litchi pork and spicy pancake. Both of them were on the point. Good addition to Dominion Road.

Time and date: Weekday night dinner<br/><br/>Food and beverages ordered: litchi pork, scallion fried brocolli, spicy pancake with duck, chicken and mushroom siu mai<br/><br/>Environment: new, and fast foody<br/><br/>Service: friendly<br/><br/>Costs: $30 per person<br/><br/>Will I return: definately for a quick and easy asian dinner<br/><br/>Comment: the food is quite nice, very authentic asian food with a slight fusion twist, great place for people who love a quick and easy asian meal with flavors from all around china. Scallion brocolli are light and fragant, pancake is nice and crispy and the litchi pork perfectly suited with a bowl of rice. Snacks and drinks are unlimited at $3 per head.

Went here for “supper” at 11:30. The few shop that were still opened at that time. <br/>Seen many review about this place so decided to give it a try. <br/><br/>When given the manu, we were overwhelmed by the menu. Personally the menu can be simplified more so it’s easier to promote the foods.<br/><br/>The store’s atmosphere is pretty good. It’s new, it’s different the stores surrounding it.<br/><br/>Food wise, I love the shredded potato a lot, it’s sour it’s tangy it’s flavorful. <br/>I’m never been a fan of nz pork because theres always the “pork smell” to it so I always tried to stay away from pork. However The lychi pork was very similar to sweet and sour pork but it doesn’t taste as artificial compare to it. The braised pork for the pancake is pretty good too. <br/><br/>The $3 unlimited bar is pretty awesome where you can help yourself with the soft drinks or some snack like popcorn, Golden pea, chips etc.<br/><br/>

Seen this place just open recently and the colors and lights caught my eye so thought would give it a go.  We had the Litchi pork, the taco bun pork belly, dumplings, pancake and duck.<br/>We also got the $3 buffet drinks, popcorn etc which was a good deal.<br/><br/>We liked everything but found the taco bun a bit more dense than i would have liked.  apart from that everything was really good, service was friendly, and very quick food delivery and good sized dishes.  will definately go back again.  and was quite reasonably priced at $54 for 2 and came out feeling full. <br/><br/>I think this place will do well along dominion road. definately give it a try
Wendyluong21
This place is AMAZING! Service was sooooooooo fast and the food was so delish! And for an extra $3 you can get unlimited fizzy drinks and side dishes. I can’t remember what the side dishes were but it was something like corn chips or something. The pork belly pancake!! 😍😍. Daaaammmnnnn. Deffs going there again.

great food and good prices . really helpful staff who greet you at the door. service is quick so be ready to eat quickly.<br/><br/>good to get in prior to 6 /630 to beat the rush

Caught my attention straightaway. All those lightings and bright place. Clean and good space. Staffs were really friendly and welcoming. <br/>Had the pancake and the litchi chicken. I highly recommend that. With the pancake, you could add on with beef or spicy chicken and that makes it even more delicious. Their litchi chicken is their signature dish and I really love it. You get to taste some sourness but also sweetness with some litchi around the dishes + potato. Price wise : 👍🏻👍🏻 <br/>I would definitely keep going back there :))

I given 3.8/5 for food. The corn chicken soup taste like porridge. Oringal pancake and tofu taste good. But i was disappointed in lichee pork. This is different from traditional taste.

Been here multiple times. Simple, straightforward menu, yet it is worth every dollar you spend. Love the signature litchi pork. Their dumplings and siumai are a must-try. <br/>Ambience: neat and clean. You get your own plates amd utensils, from a very organised shelf. <br/><br/>Bonus: <br/>- free refreshments (soda, tea, etc)<br/>- they close at 2AM<br/>- very very very friendly staff

Great to see a new addition to Dominion Rd. You get seated at your table and then go back to order at the front/pay and collect drinks/cutlery/plates any extra sauces as you head back to your seats. Food is super fast to come out! There were only 3 of us and we asked the lady that sat us down what we should order as it was our first time... (wsnt of help) so don’t make the mistake of ordering bun & pancake each along with extra mains. We ended up with way too much food... and yes you can share the pancake & bun. Litchi pork/broccoli 👍🏾 sauces that they added had lots of flavour. (i didn’t get to eat bun too much food) Pancake was great & tasted like fried roti /naan bread slightly greasy, dumplings were okay at that point i think we were way too full ....2 of us got the $3 deal for drinks & snacks... (you can have unlimited hot tea at no charge)

Expect to queue during the peak hours of lunch and dinner (perhaps because it is still new). They make some effort to make your queue a bit easier :) little snack sometime provided. The service is good, not bad. The food is interesting, we did order lychee pork, crispy chicken wing, dumpling, spicy pancake and pork belly. Love the chicken wing and pork belly :) Nice!

Our bellies were definitely worshipped tonight!😍 <br/>Food and service was superb! We had a lovely young man serve us all night who was was very friendly and helpful.<br/>We had the litchi pork, ribs, fried pork dumplings & coconut rice all for a great price. Man the flavours were so good, coconut rice was perfect, dumplings were fresh & tasty, ribs were tender & falling off the bone & the litchi pork was my favourite! The buffet drinks were a bonus too! Best part was walking away with leftovers. Food was so filling! Love the ambience of the place, definitely an eye catcher for those walking pass. Will come back for sure and take on the spinach tacos & pork belly suggested by the amazing staff❤️👌🏾

Friendly staff...good ambiance...food are delish and reasonably priced. I will not have second thought asking friends to join me in coming back to this place...loving pork, pork...pork.

First visit to Belly Worship, a newly opened diner. Found it when I drove by. Very surprising cheap eats on dominion road with great interior, staff were very friendly, food was good too.<br/>I ordered original pancake with pork belly, and spinach taco bun with teriyaki chicken. Taco bun was great but pancake was not as expected. What I expected was a flaky but "rollable" pancake, but what I had was crispy but not easily rolled... Also, an extra pinch of sugar would bring more flavour to pork belly.
Addy
Really cool place with very friendly people working there. We weren’t told that you have to order at the counter, so we were sitting there waiting for someone to take our order for a little bit 😬. <br/>Food comes out so fast. The fried noodles are pretty good, and so is the signature pancake. The ‘spinach taco buns’ were okay but the pork or chicken is all at the front so you’re left with half the whole bun by itself once you eat the first half with the meat. Steamed dumplings were okay but didn’t stay soft for long once they came out. <br/>Overall, enjoyed trying the new addition to dominion road but won’t be back in a hurry.
Danny
Walked past this last time I was on Dominion Road and it looked great. The staff were really friendly too (unusual for an eatery on Dominion, where the food is usually good and cheap, but service is always a bit lackluster). I ordered the lychee pork which came highly recommended along with the spiced green beans (being the only "green veggies" on the menu). The Lychee pork was really good and excellent value for the price ($10!). Unfortunately, the green beans soured the experience for me. It was basically a bowl of bland, over-cooked edamame that just physically fell apart.
SpoonMe
Food 8/10<br/>Staff 10/10<br/>Ambience 8/10<br/><br/><br/>I recommend the spicy pancake and the Litchi Pork.<br/>I ordered the extra pork belly with the pancake and was nice how you can wrap the pork+veges or you could easily eat it on its own and it would still be good. <br/>The Litchi Pork is kind of like a sweet and sour pork but not as sweet and I would say it is a lot more light and not too sickly. The sauce that came with it was really good too so I poured it on the my rice and had it! I was surprised at its price of $9.9 and you get a good portion not just a few pieces of meat. <br/>The lamb risotto was tasty but if you’re expecting a traditional risotto then you might be disappointed. I thought it was more of like a lamb fried rice and it not being a risotto didn’t bother me at all because it had lots of big chunks of lamb in it and it was yum so I can’t complain. <br/>I also want to point out that the staff were very friendly. I really liked how every staff member said ‘thank you for coming’ on my way out and that alone made me want to come back. <br/>I will 100% come back here and bring more friends with me and fill up the whole table with food!<br/>Really excited to come back :) <br/>

cheap cheerful and food was real good. lychee sweet and sour pork was probably the stand out and for on 11$$ cant really argue... 3$ bottomless softdrinks. duck pancake was great too - nice lil eatery on dom road

It has been a very long time I haven't rated a restaurant for 5 stars. For Belly Worship, it definitely worths a full mark!<br/><br/>Food: 10/10<br/>Service: 10/10<br/>Ambience: 10/10<br/><br/>Our favourite is Spinach Taco Bun with pork belly. The bun was made of flour with squeezed spinach juice, which is very common in China but not so common here. Braised slow cooked pork belly tastes extremely good! The taco bun is also filled with bean sprout, cabbage, carrot, red onion, and pork gravy. The topping vegetables help me get rid of the oily taste of pork belly and make the whole dish a highlight for my dinner. We also ordered a pancake, deep-fried chick drumette, and pan-fried dumplings. All of them worth the price. <br/><br/>About service, I have to say that's the best service I had in local Chinese restaurants. Staffs are super friendly, ask you how you feel about the food, guide you at every step to get what you want. Come on, I am talking about a cheap place to eat not a fine restaurant. You guys have done too good to exceed my expectations!<br/><br/>Restuarant's decor is very modern, similar to Burger Fuel's style but Belly Worship has done much better. One important thing I must include in this comment is that the restaurant uses PAPER takeaway box free of charge. Because my wife works in food package industry, I know paper takeaway containers are way more expensive than the plastic form one. THANK YOU FOR DOING SUCH A RESPONSIBLE JOB FOR OUR ENVIRONMENT! Thank you, Belly Worship!<br/><br/>Forgive me for not attaching any pictures!!! I didn't expect so much from a small place like this! Wait for my picture when I come back again!

I go on Dominion Rd daily and have been eyeing Belly Worship out ever since they were renovating! Finally got the chance to visit them last night as a group of 4. <br/><br/>There’s a bottomless self-serving snack and drinks station right behind the counter at the front, with popcorn, pretzels, corn chips, and fried beans! Super cool. <br/><br/>We got Spinach Taco Bun; Steamed Shrimp/Pork/Chives Dumplings; Vege Salad; Duck Pancake; Beef Curry Pancake; Pork Belly Pancake; Litchi Pork, Chicken Drumsticks; and Sweet Sour Fish. <br/><br/>The way it works is that you order and pay by the counter. Everything else you collect yourself like plates, utensils etc. Everything came out super fast and fresh; our table soon packed to its maximum capacity. <br/><br/>Star was definitely the Pancake, which is amazingly crispy and flaky by itself. You can add toppings to it which is an additional +$8. They provide plastic gloves so your hands don’t get messy too! Biting into that filled Pancake was so satisfyingly packed with flavour — and the portion is huge! The Beef and Duck were bursting with flavour and so tender! <br/><br/>Their signature Litchi Pork inspired by Fujian is clearly popular amongst every table, at only $9.90 you get a generous portion of sweet and sour pork with potatoes and Lychee pieces. <br/><br/>The chicken drumsticks and fish were absolutely banging with flavours too! <br/><br/>Their steamed dumplings weren’t as nice as the fried ones; I would probably recommend fried as it comes on a sizzling pan too! <br/><br/>I didn’t get to try the taco bun but it’s giant for $7 with a giant chunk of meat inside! <br/><br/>Table turnover is incredibly fast, this place has been bustling with people since it’s opening day! It’s affordable, delicious and different than your usual Chinese restaurant whilst still being authentic! <br/><br/>This set us back by $131.80 and we left with full stomachs and happy smiles. <br/><br/>Food: 10/10<br/>Price: 10/10<br/>Ambience: 10/10<br/>Service: -<br/>

This place is delicious and the service is fantastic and fast. Food came out faster than the time I could get my own drink!. Although it looks super chic you still get that asian self service vibe which is the best part of asian cuisine. We got the pancakes with pork belly and prawn, litchi chicken and Thai beef dumplings. The portion sizing is so decent and the pancake is so crispy yet bendable to make that lit Chinese taco. The litchi pork wasn’t my favourite but gotta commend it on its unique flavour. Dumplings weren’t anything amazing but for the amount you get you can’t be mad. Would highly recommend this place and will be back. GET THE PORK BELLY PANCAKE YOU WILL BE HAPPY.

I came here last night after a long day in the city! Was so hungry so have been wanting to try this place out since I saw it being built! Staff are really friendly, place looks awesome. Everywhere you sit you have a cool backdrop to take a photo of the store or of the food. My partner and I ordered the Pork Belly Spinach Bun and also the Signature Pancake with added Duck extra. Flavours were definitely Asian Fusion, however still keeping a traditional Asian taste! I wish it wasn’t self service for everything though, as I had to get my own cutlery and plates, takeaway boxes etc. However, none the less a cool little new place to eat if you’re feeling peckish!
Adline Shandil
Very lovely staff. Awesome food.. spinach taco #todiefor. Keep up the good work and we’ll definitely be back. Prices were definitely worth it and the surrounding itself was very inviting. I liked the open kitchen idea and the fact that everything was cooked right in front of us. We didn’t have to wait long for our delicious food.

Passed by this place on a Friday night. We ordered the litchi pork dish and broccoli and were surprised that the pork was so crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The broccoli has a nice sauce that we weren’t expecting. Service was exceptional as well as they were very proactive in clearing the dishes. We would be returning to try out other dishes!

Best place to go in Dominion road. Rated 10/10 to be honest. Love everything about this place. Great interiors, great food choices, great value for money, delicious food, amazing staff, free snacks and drinks (popcorn, pretzels, soda and tea). Definitely gonna come back to try the spicy pancake.
Miura Elikana
This place is new to the block, only opened last week. Efficient service, the menu was explained well and loved the recommendation. The litchi pork are deep fried pork morsels, actual pork pieces. Unlike some places where you get balls of batter or minced pork😞. The bao was good💯. It’s self service for cutlery etc and you have to go to register to order. I will be returning to try the others 🙌🏽

Ordered the savoury pancake with pork belly for takeaway. The pancake was wonderfully tasty and crispy, pork was cooked well and doused in hoisin sauce, with a decent portion of fresh salad on the side. The restaurant itself has a clean interior with modern decor, and looks to be an ideal place to meet with friends for a casual meal.
