Review Bloc Cafe - Mount Eden

Emma Walter
One of my favourite spots for coffee. Super close to work but also great for some ore-match caffeine if your playing at Auckland Grammar Hockey turf. The team that work here are genuinely nice people too which always makes going in a pleasure. I always try to dash in at the end of the day when things quieten down.

Yummy brunch in a lifestyle concept store. Roasted akaroa salmon was absolutely delicious, so was the ice coffee!

The not so hidden gem on Normanby Road. Great coffee and food. Worth a visit.

A surprising discovery while the wife and I were aimlessly walking one morning in search of a good brunch. We were attracted to this second floor cafe, with wide glass panel windows. We loved the natural lighting inside. We were happily surprised to taste the food. We particularly loved the banana loaf, as you can taste a generous amount of banana. The tumeric latte is also good, as the tumeric is not overpowering.

Bloc cafe are doing takeaway Thai food in L3. Tried tonight and couldn’t be happier. Fresh (not heavy) with great flavours. Thanks

I have coffee with my daughter here. Great coffee, service and the cafe is elevated so there is a view Great setting also amongst several design stores.

I really like this spot for a coffee in the morning, lot of light and friendly staff. Food is good and it is very peaceful before the shops open.

.
📍 Bloc Cafe
☕ Latte
🍴 Cheese Scone
-----------------------------------------
A hidden gem of a cafe in the heart of the Bloc community of stores. Cohabitating with some well-renowned brands, Bloc cafe is definitely a much needed part of the space (especially for the peckish shoppers). A balanced combination of white and light-toned timber interior creates a bright, neat, and modern feel but also importantly, it's consistent with its neighbouring brands.
Great coffee brewed with Bespecialty beans, and ofcourse we gotta have the scones... it was rich and tasty!

Came here for a late breakfast. Nice coffee and fresh cafe food. Nice view and of course the decor. Not in the mood for sweet treats so I ordered the savory spicy meat rolls which was very appetizing.

Great find in Normanby Road. Excellent food, fast service and friendly staff. The food was also well-presented when served. They may be in the pricey side.

If you're around the neighborhood, I'd believe Bloc Café could easily be 'the cafe next door'.

Amazing service with extremely friendly staff. Food is on the slightly pricey side, however, you can assure that they use wholesome quality ingredients. Decent food offerings and coffee.

P/S: Bloc reminds me of Ikea's cafe as it is hidden amongst beautiful furniture.
P/S/S: There's some indoor parking inside the building.

Great relaxing place for morning tea or lunch in amongst the shops. Coffee has always been great and the lunches are pretty good too. Caramel slice is nice and rich but the brownie wasn’t as good. Don’t forget to get your coffee card!
