Their sweet pastry are very nice. Especially anything with cream. I’ve never tried anything else I’m only here for all the sweet pastry to satisfy my sweet tooth! Highly recommended after a meal :)!

I still remember I had breakfast here on my first day in Auckland. And I’m very glad to see that the original owners (from Philippine or Thai?) still keep this place over nearly ten years.
It’s not a cheap bakery, it has not been renovated over past ten years, it’s not as fancy as Amano, and obviously the Asian staff don’t know the western meaning of service. But the did nothing bad over these years.
I’ve been here hundreds of times. Personally I like their toasted sandwiches, hotdog series, fried chicken thigh and drumsticks, fried kabab, spring roll and dim sum. I don’t know about their dinner breads, though not looks attractive as bakery delights. Their coffees are also cheap and tasty.
I moved away from mt. Eden long years ago, but when I drive along mt. Eden road in the morning or lunchtime, I usually stop here for a snack or pie to fuel me up, also to remind myself of those old days. Unfortunately, the owners have never remembered who I am over past years, but my loyalty to this place continues still.

Went here to buy breakfast, lunch or even just snack.. they sell a lot if various sandwich, but my fave lunch is chicken thigh and spring roll for snack 🤤 plan to try their sweets later
Delicious menu ranging from 'cafe food' to beverages and drinks to absolutely healthy (dairy free, gluten free and vegetarian) options. This is a place for everyone and if you do visit make sure you try their desserts. It's absolutely yummy and guilt free.
Great bacon and egg pies! The top layer of pastry is light and crispy and the filling is seasoned well with a good amount of bacon every time and a big golden yolk. Great selection of pies, filled sandwiches and sweets. My favourite sweet options are the custard and cream filled doughnuts and banana filled pancake. Prices are a little more expensive than your suburban bakeries, but spending your lunch money here will give more bang for your buck than anywhere else in Mt Eden.

Im a regular here but dont often get pies for diet reasons. But I did used to buy their vegetarian pie and rated it the best vege pie I had tasted in Auckland. i just now had a steak and cheese pie. Hands down the best pastry iv ever had in a pie. It was as if baled by a French pastry chef. The perfect crust with just the right light buttery crunch. And the steak chunks are well prepared nice and tender. Beautiful people and excellent product.
One of the few bakeries in Auckland to offer such an extensive range of gourmet pies, filled rolls & sandwiches, made to a very high standard. I was most impressed with the quality of the food that they have to offer & the ingredients they use in their pies. If you like pies I recommend their 'Creamy chicken, cranberry with melted camerbert cheese' or their 'Creamy chicken & mushroom'.

If you are feeling a bit sad or depressed, go there and get a pie and V and walk up mount Eden and have a solo picnic as you watch the sunset over Tāmaki Makaurau.

If you stay around for a few days or even longer you should make this your morning coffee. The ladies are outstanding friendly and welcoming! Prices are fair and the food is quite good! Worth a try.
