Review Hot Hot Asian Eatery - Mount Eden

We stopped in here for a meal right before the Blues semifinal and had a fantastic dinner. The menu was fantastic with something for everyone, we ordered the red beef curry, chicken pad thai noodle and the kungfu noodle, all of which were a home run and we would definitely order again. I have to give this place 5 stars! Not very often do I rate a restaurant this high but hot hot Asian eatery definitely loved up to expectations. Went here with friends, had a booking for 4 but had to change the time to 9pm, we were then advised the kitchen closes at 9pm but they still accommodated us. The attends were excellent! Moreover the food was delicious, portion size is just right, so you wouldn't really be able to share a plate of noodles for example between two, wouldn't be enough. Like the vibe and setup of the 2 floors. I would highly suggest anyone to visit this restaurant. Great service and great food!

After hearing many positive things about Hot Hot Asian Eatery, we finally got to dine in prior to an event. The decor and ambiance of the restaurant was chilled and funky with kitschy embellishments on the bright walls. Staff was excellent, so attentive and knowledgeable about the menu and easy to deal with with recommendations. We ordered the chicken cheese rolls with plum sauce and these were exquisite! We also tried the pork belly bao served Thai hot, the lemongrass satay chicken hot wrap and spicy pork ribs with sticky rice. The dishes were delicious, fragrant and flavoursome, most impressively was that Thai hot was served perfectly! To wash down the food I thoroughly enjoyed my glass of a NZ Pinot noir. The food was exceptional, generous in portion size and beautifully spiced and presented. I’m so keen to return to try other dishes that caught my interest. What an amazing dining experience! Highly recommended with distinction!

Very underrated place. Good cheap eats. We had the Tofu larb and prawn laska both were delicious. Also had the crispy pork bao bun as a starter, which was also very good. Too big to be a legitimate starter but amazing.

Fun and vibrant little gem serving primarily Thai food w ample veg/an options. Absolutely delicious, one of the best green curry I had in a long time, fried spring rolls crispy and flavourful. Super friendly and helpful service too, patiently answered all my questions on the menu.

Nice food and atmosphere. Affordable price and good location. Will be back again.

Enjoyed my meal here, I had a few different dishes, it's all pretty reasonably priced and they had some good beers available. Everything was very flavorsome, id nearly say it was too much. I'm not quite sure what cuisine they specialize in, they have Thai, Malaysian and possibly some Chinese? I don't think I'll go back if it was me and one other, but in a large group I think I'd definitely go back.

The food was delicious and the service was great. Very friendly and weren't waiting long for the meals.

great service and delicious food. this girl nina was serving me, she did an excellent job. was very professional and kind. my card got declined a few times because i was typing in the code wrong and she was very accommodating and polite about it. tasty dinner will be returning for more

Food never disappoints...absolutely delicious. I was given a complimentary Iced Tea because they somehow missed my large online order of 15 dishes placed @ 4:15pm, I arrived at 5:00pm to find I had to reorder in person and all 15 dishes we ready for me by 5:40pm. Amazing service with a smile. Met the two beautiful girls in person who are painted on the dining wall of their restaurant. Thank you will keep returning.

Delicious food! Been here multiple times and never disappointed! Good service and very cool and colourful atmosphere. Super funky ambiance with lots of cool designs. Always get the pork belly wok fried noodle which would always recommend to anyone going there. It’s probably the best dish i’ve ever tried in my life if you like noodles and pork belly. Dumplings are also great for sharing. Good range of foods spicy or not spicy.

It's my second time here and i really want to try everything on the menu. The food was amazing especially with chocolate brownie and i love the art deco to the place. We went for a look up stairs as we sat down stairs and looks really cool there. The staff were also really friendly and helpfully. Highly recommended coming here and the price is not too bad either
