Excellent and friendly staff. We ordered the Beef Brisket burrito and the margarita jug. Both were an excellent size and the burrito was hug and tasty. Really happy with this place and the atmosphere was great with music being played but also not being too loud where you can still have a quiet conversation. Highly recommend this place.

We had the bottomless brunch food was great size portions for a bottomless brunch! The slushy margs were delicious and could choose a flavour 😋 The staff were so friendly and helpful 😃

Food was decent, a little pricey for what you get. I enjoyed my nachos and ordered w/o jalapeños. They also cater for coeliac disease. (Tacos). Though they are expensive and leave you hungry. $10 sangria jug day deal is great.

The owner was a lovely, hospitable host who was very attentive to seated guests & made sure everyone was comfortable. His relaxed demeanour & infectious smile despite being constantly busy is admirable. The constant rotation of staff who ensured we had everything we needed was wonderful & deserve a praise of their own. Food was amazing but let’s face it, I was there for the delicious drinks. However, the chicken tacos still tasted amazing the next day. My fiancé & I look forward to coming back soon to have the amazing beef burritos. And if you’re not a lover of beans, they are so accomodating that they serve it alongside the burrito in a separate bowl which I praise highly because once the beans are in the burritos, there’s no getting them out without making a mess. Lovely atmosphere, clean toilets, great staff. I highly recommend this amazing restaurant.

Our waitress Arna ( not sure how it's spelt) was absolutely incredible! She was so attentive to our group and always made sure we had our needs met and our glasses full!! The food was amazing as always.

Great meal, excellent atmosphere, friendly staff and delicious food. Wasn't sure what to expect from the outside but there are so many interesting things on the menu to try. Glad we came in!

Amazing! The food was exquisite. Anthony, the manager, was an amazing host, opened the door for us, and made sure we were taken care of throughout the night and even sat to chat with us. We both got burritos. I had the chicken and jalapeño. It was creamy and filled with chicken, rice, and flavours that just made it melt in your mouth. My partner got a vegan version and had the biggest smile. They have different specials each day, and we went on tequila Friday. They brought us 3 different tequilas of different ages to match the meal. We have found our new favourite place at the Mount.

Great cocktails and sangria along with great tasting usual suspects. Just went again (2 days later) because the simple, tasty Mexican food and vibe is just right. Another jug of sangria and a burrito this time.

May 2019.  Calamari Taco's were favourites, added the hot sauces that are at the table and so was very nice. Crispy Chicken Taco's were good when added sauces.  Eggplant Taco's had nice flavour but texture is something to work on, still enjoyable.  Like that I had at least 4 sauces on the table to select my own spice level.  Pork Enchilada was nice and mild.  Beef Burrito was enjoyable.  Not amazing, but pleasant enough.  Staff were friendly, knowledgeable, but possibly needed to slow down a bit to actually explain the specials.  Asked for a pitcher of Margarita shaken and strained not frozen and were advised we were better to buy by the glass.  Total $149 for 4 Margarita, 1 burrito, 1 enchilada and 3 sets of 2 tacos

I ordered the 3 taco's with the calamari filling and pepitas on the side. The pepitas were really interesting and different to try as they were seasoned pumpkin seeds. The calamari taco's were good but were missing a little bit of a hit, so we ordered fresh jalapeño's on the side. The pepitas alongside the jalapeño's added to the calamari taco's just hit the spot when you're craving for calamari 👌🏼

Pretty tasty fish tacos but not a lot to them, could have done with a bit of guac. It was two for $16, a light meal as stated on the menu. Would have been more keen to get three but you had to stick with the one filling, maybe they’d sell more if people could choose two different fillings. The mango margarita tasted like a dessert, beautifully creamy and not too sickly sweet like some can be. We were told on arrival it was their special flavour of the day, special being $1 cheaper than usual haha. Not a cheap restaurant but not overly expensive either. I would say a been there done that experience for me.

Calamari tacos are to die for! Loved their Nachos which came in a little tip out bowl. Delicious sangaria. Perfectly located on the main road, not hard to miss.

Came here late afternoon just as the kitchen had reopened. We got free nachos for our table for checking in via Facebook, they were epic!! Also got some guac and a couple pitchers of margaritas. Great start! Staff were very friendly. We ordered a bunch of tacos between us all (lamb, chicken, pork and vege) they were all stuffed very full with yum stuff we had to take some home. The only thing that sucked was that you couldn't mix your taco flavours you had to get 2 or more of the same one. Will def be back!

Best taco ever!. The Barrio Brothers has by far the best taco I have ever tasted! <br/>The atomsphere was great, the staff was courteous and helpful. And the tacos! Great flavours, balanced with the right amount of fillings. I would go back to NZ just for those tacos again.
