How good! Still happy with the amazing breakfast we had at Eighteight Cafe. We had a hot chocolate and ordered from the menu. Pancakes and the chorizo omelette were fantastic, both of them were made at level of excellence. They have lovely cabinet food too (sweet and savory)k
We loved the atmosphere and they had great customer service. We had the vegan filo wrap and a blueberry& custard muffin and both was delicious. They also had an amazing cabinet selection, but unfortunately none of the items had prices on them which was very frustrating. We also hot the iced moch and
came here after watching the sunrise nearby zero wait food is pretty 4/5 i got a paleo chicken with salad (spinach, carrots) it was probably a bit more expensive than i wouldve preferred, but the other food on the menu were good self serve water for yourself
i love coming here for a little breakfast. the food is very tasty, the blueberry caramel is my favorite. and the service is super nice, i always have a good time catching up with the french waitress :)
Always great here! Beautiful cheese scones, pesto / feta muffins and sweet muffins! Great coffee thank you.
Superb cafe. Food is extremely well presented and tastes as good as it looks. Very good coffee. Large selection of menu items, as well as cabinet food. There is no table service but ordering at the counter is fast and efficient. I'm sure this would be a strong contender for best cafe at the mount.
Friendly staff, ok food and good coffee. Had a french toast that was ok but could be better if the bananas were also fried. Eggs bennie were good. Nice environment
Everyone loved the brunch and desserts so much that we had to come back again the next morning before leaving Tauranga. Really beautifully presented (and definitely instagram worthy). A really wide range of pantry desserts to choose from but it'll be good to go early as they really are snatched up f
Love this place , it's our go to when in Tauranga the Mount for food and coffee
After a diabolical customer service experience at Sidetrack Cafe near the mount we were recommended this place for breakfast and thank God because this was divine. The staff are wonderful the service perfect. We had a chat with the lovely Ann the baker at the cafe who nearly had us in tears. A seren
What an amazing array of homemade baked goods! I chose the Hummingbird Cake - which was a HUGE cake and meant that the slices were also huge! Cream cheese icing covered in large coconut shreds garnished a lovely moist cake...which went so well with 2 x long blacks, also delicious! (Please don't tell
The staff friendly and the snacks were outstanding. The chicken wraps were full of tender moist chicken. The carrot cake was something to dye for. I don't know if they do their own baking but it was very good.
A world class gastronomical experience. Been to Cafe 88 several times when we visit Mount Maunganui. My favourite for breakfast is the Granola. Lolly cake for morning tea. Lunch is the Paleo chicken salad. This cafe is out of this world and the best in New Zealand. We can't wait to be back.
