Lovely food and nice bakery staff but it’s confusing that you have to order on one side for the bakery and cabinet food, and on the other side for the menu /kitchen side. I mean I understand why it’s like that but I didn’t see any signage and I felt a bit stupid after the staff member told me

Good food and smoothies! Okay parking, they do have a few GF and Vegan choices which is very nice and inclusive. Not super expensive either which is a bonus!

Always busy. Very good coffee. Super friendly staff. Plain croissants are hard to digest, chewy, greasy, excessively large, and taste like pizza dough. I’m too shy to tell them in person, but I’m sure they’ll start trying new recipes after reading this 🙂

Had a nice brunch here with a mate in the weekend. Love the interior, warm atmosphere and staff was friendly. No pic of the food ordered as I was too hungry lol. Oh and coffee was great thanks! Would visit again!

I had a bit of a challenging request recently for the team at Elspeth. It was the sort of thing one could say ... sorry mate, we do not do that for customers ... In fact that was the response from two others. My view, doing the little things right is a sign of a great business. Steve took on the request and delivered ... thx!

Amazing food and great service! We loved every dish ordered from the menu, especially the Smashed Avo and Corn Fritter dishes. Definitely worth your time and money if you appreciate a quality cafe experience.

I will be dreaming about this bakery long after we've left New Zealand. The Elspeth scone was exceptional and the service was very friendly. A must visit spot in Tauranga!

Pretty much faultless food and coffee. I don't often take pics of breakfast meals however the smashed avo looked like it came out of a fine dining restaurant.

Great bakery, scones are so good, also the custard sandwich. Kitchen closes at 2 but plenty still available at the counter. Hot chocolate also highly recommended on a rainy day. We left very happy 💖

Best croissant I’ve had in years, including the ones I’ve eaten in France! Their turmeric latte is also delicious. Staff is friendly, they even brought water out for our dog :)
