Simply THE Best fish and chip shop in the the North. Monganui a close second but if it's a mana feed you want look no further than MAGs and say hi to the master her self.
Really lovely little fish and chip shop. Quality product, better than average choices (including paua fritters). Nice atmosphere to eat also. Our preferred f&c goto place at Mount Maunganui.
Fantastic staff. Delicious fresh fish. Everything you needed was provided. Didn't try the raw fish but it looked amazing. Definitely visit and enjoy the menu.
Best fish we have had for a long time!! Big thick fish fillets and thin batter. Pineapple fitters also yum 😋 chef singing while working was a nice touch. Wouuld definitely recommend 👌
Went and got a Kai yesterday, and tumeke Maggie's... the battered oysters, huge and on point! Batter is amazing! Raw fish was 👌 And the fish was as fresh as it comes. Thank you for the beaut of a Kai 😊 prices are so good for what you get 🙌

Absolutely fantastic fish and chips. We opted for the snapper and it didn’t disappoint. So fresh and literally melted in our mouths. The service was great too. Next time we’re in the Mt and in need of some fish and chips then they will be our first stop!
Classic NZ Fush & Chups with crinkle cuts chups. Ordered for 15 people and it was ready in 20 minutes. Oysters were fantastic too. Yum.

well worth 5 stars! a bit more up market than your standard "shark and taties" but really great value for money.

The family from Singapore throughly enjoyed this feast. The boys managed to consume 4 pieces of fish each and couldn't stop raving about it.

Just finished our meal and I had to write this review. Chips weren’t too greasy and good portion size as others have noted. But the snapper was the highlight. Best snapper I’ve had! Not frozen, moist, tasty, decent size, and they even gave us an extra snapper for free. Highly recommend.
Beautiful kai cooked to perfection and Great efficient service!!!... i got 6 oysters and chips with a snapper fillet!... forget to mention underdone for the oysters and snapper but i didnt need to they cooked it Perfect! Was more than enough for me so saved some for later... p.s thanks for the lemon wedges!...
