They also checked regularly to clear the table.
The music was great and not too loud.
The pool table was well used by the younger generation 😊.

Randomly found this place exploring NZ with my wife on our honeymoon. She had a burger and I had a fried chicken sandwich. They were both incredible, the staff was super nice too, and the drinks were great. So happy we chose to eat here.

10/10 knock it out the park for me every time. Nothing comes close in the bay, a must when visiting, in fact worth the trip alone

I had the best times in the North Island in this bar, which I had to go to twice, they made me feel at home with the most delicious red beer in New Zealand. excellent service and very good conversation. I recommend 100%, a great place that I would return to for the third time

Great service, helpful advice. The Hoedown & Classic Chicken burgers hit the spot, and the crinkle cut fries were amazing, as was the mystery mayo! Great range of beer and a cool place to relax, perfect for waiting for the food order.

The food and the atmosphere was amazing. The only reason I don’t give it a perfect score is the FOH staff came across a little rude. I had the double cheese burger and it was amazing, a great example of what a smash burger should be.

Great burger!!!!! One chap was super friendly..one chap not so much. Cool little spot. But for lunch the music was very loud! Only reason I left early...couldn't handle the noise

My mates and I came to tga for waitangi long weekend and found this place. Burgers are really nice. Maple butter basket (chicken wings) are to die for and deep fried onions rings sprinkled with spring onions were real good too. Palace was so good we came here twice. Highly recommended

Good food and good atmosphere. We had SFC style burger, Regular chicken Burger, cauliflower burger (veggie) and Buffalo sauce SFC Burger. They were all good. The jalapeño balls were good too. But we loved the cheesy fries the most.

Received a gobsmacking “chicken fried” cauliflower burger combo from Palace! Lydia gave excellent service and was able to provide awesome suggestions for food and drink. The Old Bay seasoned fries were a tasty cajun treat. The burger had a perfect spice level offering enough heat without leaving you with the need to chug water! The portion was generous leaving me full without feeling as though I’d hurt myself.
Palaces menu clearly states items as Vegan, Vegan Option, Vegetarian, and Gluten Free. Sincerely appreciate the variety of options!
Located on Maunganui Rd, it was perfect walking distance to the beach and shopping. Would definitely visit again. Thanks, Palace for a delicious meal!
