Pretty good sushi here. They tend to run low on their items in the glass case, but they're really nice about preparing it for you if you ask them to, and they do it fairly quickly.
Very tasty sushi, extremely good service. Just a little bit expensive but the quality of the food is excellent.
Delicious sushi and fairly priced hot food items. The hot food items are prepared quickly and are always tasty. I really enjoy the hot pork or teriyaki beef $10 bowls, they come with a salad and rice and the meat and fill me up. The lady at the counter is also very friendly.

Delicious fresh sushi, ( including gluten free teriyaki chicken roll) and some cool creative sushi and sashimi that were new to me (coriander chicjen roll, sweet inari..The host is very entertaining. The best lunch we had in the Bay.
Bay Sushi Mount Maunganui is one of the best sushi restaurants in NZ. The individual pieces of sushi are splendid and the staff are very accommodating and friendly giving you extra sides for free if you want it. I would highly recommend bay sushi!
