Great food and the passion the owners have for the business is infectious. The book themed vibe is lovely and the food is awesome. I especially loved the waffles and the bacon and mushrooms were cooked to perfection with the big breakfast. I’ll definitely be back.

Wow. From start to finish. What an experience. Got a gluten free Freaky Shake and a peanut butter one. Every part of it was well thought out and delicious. Well done team. We will be back.

very nice food and drinks, friendly and kind staff

Went for brunch today and the food was nice but what we were really impressed with was the customer service. Probably most lovely customer service I’ve had in a really long time at a cafe. Super super friendly, were happy to make changes to drinks and meals, and even came out to double check how I wanted my iced coffee which was very thoughtful (and appreciated!!). Definitely recommend!

I had a banana smoothie which was nice. Abit like a milkshake tho. My friend had a cheese scone which she said was really really salty and her ice chocolate was really really sweet. Unfortunately probably won't go back. Customer service was awesome

Great coffee, one of the only places that get soy coffees right for me. Kids love the nutella milk shakes.

We have now been 2 times for breakfast. Both times the food has been great and fairly priced and the smoothies great. But the highlight has been the staff, super friendly and up beat. Would definitely recommend.

Today was the third time we’ve visited the cafe since we’ve moved down to the beautiful Mt Maunganui area. I don’t care what you might read about the wait times. These days everyone is understaffed and overworked. The staff here make up for any wait by delicious food, amazing service and consistent kindness. Thank you for going the extra mile with our squirmy anklebiter. Today there was a wait, but that’s because they were slammed full on with table after table. The fact that they met this work load with just 3 people on while doling out excellent customer service, keeping their tables updated on wait times and serving up hot delicious meals is worth far more than just 5 stars. Highly recommend and we’ll be back!

My new favourite place in Mount Maunganui! Great coffee, great staff, not busy and VG friendly ! You should try their delicious mushroom egg Benedict, best one I've had in this country.

Lovely cafe with a large variety of food and drinks avail ( including the best shakes I have ever seen ) Staff were attentive and caring and were happy to re make a Coffee latte and add cream and ice cream to it to make it sweeter. The food that we all ordered was delish 😋 and well presented. It was great to have the chef come out after we had finished and ask us what we thought and had we enjoyed. Would def go back here and encourage others to eat there too.

Four of us went there for brunch today. All of us loved our food. Great big breakfast, superbly presented eggs bene and apparently the French toast was amazing. Staff were all so welcoming and felt like we were regulars Will definitely be back when we are at the mount next. Thoroughly recommend

We had a beautiful breakfast this morning, the food was made with love and were served by a lovely waitress. They have a sunny outdoor seating which is perfect for chilly mornings. And yes, the best coffee we had in New Zealand so far. Will recommend.
