Idyllic setting for Breakfast, unfortunately totally mixed up the order for two people and when it says tomato on the menu only x2 small cherry tomatoes served up, totally underwhelmed at the price

Lunch at Coffee Club friend's idea so did not complain at the time last week. Had a steak sandwich $18.00 which comprised four dry slices of toast with slice of meat on each, a reasonable number of chips and a small tasteless rocket salad.  The menu suggested scotch fillet.  The presentation was one I would accept for about $9 in a cafe and even then I believe it would be better.  Would very much like a refund.

I went in have lunch on the 4th September 2013 ordered cheese and pineapple toasted sandwich cost of $7.50. It was presented to me on a plate just toasted sandwich which looked very unappetizing and nothing else on plate which for $7.50 thought at least a bit of greenery or relish would be with it. The sandwich was the worst one I have ever tasted and I am usually very easy to please. There was a staff member who sat down at table next to me and I told him that the sandwich was terrible and he said to me I will tell them I presume he meant the staff. He then told the girl sitting with him that he was going out to the mall. I left my table and asked the counter for the manager and was told he had just walked out of the shop. I spoke to a very nice lady who refunded my $7.50. I am writing this suggesting that the so called Manager needs to be spoken to as it should of been him who attended to me in a proper manner instead of walking out and thinking I would probable do the same. I have been told by someone else that they would not go back to this shop but I thought I would give it a try as I am new to Tauranga but unfortunately will not be setting foot again into the Coffee Club in Bayfair and will be passing this on the other people I meet
