Wow, this is a really neat treat for all dinners. Honest, everything in our experience was 5+. If you want something different, and fabulous at the same time, then make sure you visit.
Our host was so friendly, such a bubbly personality. She introduced us to the menu options, answering all our questions and offering plenty of advice and suggestions. Then we selected the stone grill as it sounded like fun.
We chose the 4 meat option which came with fillets of beef and lamb, along with salmon and shrimp. This comes with vege to cook and a yummy salad. Also included are three sauces to cook with and add flavour as required. Then comes the piping hot stone to cook on, and away you go. You can cook things exactly as you like. No one else to blame but yourself. LOL.
It was such a social experience and alot of fun.
The menu options are extensive, as is the drinks menu, and with just a wonderful atmosphere, I can only recommend this restaurant as being a place for a wonderful night out.
If you are in the area, this experience is definitely a treat worth repeating. Like Arnie, we'll be back! Highly Recommended!
Restaurant, #2 of our Mount Maunganui restaurant challenge. Good food, great service and a lively atmosphere. The cocktails were excellent, the crunchy scallop Bao buns were delicious, and the Bento box for two had a great collection of flavours and textures.
This was absolutely marvelous. My wife and 4 teenage boys loved their burger meals. Loved my stone grill steak with chips and nice salad. My wife loved her seafood bento. So recommend this place. Worth it. Yip, I'll be back!

A "quirky" kind of a menu, variety, good use of ingredients and spice.
Edamame Beans always on our order.
Popcorn prawns, u can taste the popcorn incredibly crispy, chicken satay was also good, the use of the butter as a dip very clever our waiter pleasantly cheerful.
However, looking into the kitchen, bar and workstation washing area was a let down, not a good idea, felt it needed a spruce up..
There is an outside garden area that might have been a better spot, but in general the eating areas are very casual and let the whole place down, is it a pub/bar ? Is it a restaurant?
As the food is truly good.
Great spot for dinner and cocktails.
We had the Cauliflower spring rolls, scallop Bao, popcorn prawns and edamame. Everything was soooooo good! Service was quick...food arrived within about 10mins.
It was bucketing down, so even though weekend evening, it was a bit quiet.
Staffs were very friendly, and I liked the lights are perfect for taking pictures.
I enjoyed the food and the portion is reasonable.
I loved their mock tail, and love to try other food next time.
Today we tried
1. Pork ribs
- Taste was good but a bit overcooked.
2. Pineapple rice
- There were only 2 little places of Pineapple, but a lot of fresh vegetables and nuts. It tastes great and healthy. Highly recommend!
3. Hot stone skewers (beef and prawns)
- I loved it, but it can stick to the stone, so keep checking on them. I will still order this again next time.
4. Virgin Pina colada.
- ♡♡♡♡♡ It wasn't on the menu, but they happily made this for me. Absolutely lovely! It should be on menu =)
Overall, I will happily visit again, and try other menues.

I’m probably the worlds fussiest eater and this I could not fault! Curry sauce was delicious. Cannot fault wait staff, all on his own and handled it professionally.

GREAT menu- Bento Box’s are awesome. As is the pork belly. Great service. Cool surroundings. And a little extra that they’re working on, which I’m not sure if it’s public knowledge or they’d want it shared, just yet, so I’ll say- watch this space….this place is about to get cooler 🤙🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩 can’t wait to come back
Very reasonably priced food. Bao buns are small portions but everything else is very well portioned. The satay chicken roti is really good. excellent customer service every time from all staff. Attentive and caring. Beautiful little garden/outdoor area at the back. Cool little spot.
Best service, so friendly with 😂. Got takeaway but decided to eat outside as it was a good vibe. First time here nd def won't be a last. Was a Monday bout 5:30, so right before busy, as their food is sooooo amazing. Bao burgers nd satay chic roti was on. Best chips nd aioli around. Going back to try rest of the menu. 10/10 for us
