Review Cafe Near Me - Mount Maunganui

An actual five stars, unheard of from me! But Near Me was a wonderful surprise cafe that we stumbled upon when we were in the Mount for the weekend. My son and I had planned to walk to the main shopping area for breakfast but he was cold and hungry so we went to the first place we found, Near Me. My son is a fussy eater but the staff gave us our special order of a plan croissant and scrambled egg. I had Eggs Bene with bacon. The food was perfect, really, and we eat out... a lot! The coffee was perfect temp and tasted great, but the clincher on this five star review is the staff. Lovely, friendly, talkative, nothing-was-too-difficult staff who even gave my ADHD son allll the attention he needed to make dining in (something he hates), a very enjoyable experience. Keep up the awesome work, y'all. You're doing a great job! We will be back tomorrow!!

How awesome is this place and it's name is prefectly quirky. I had the vegan friendly smashed avocado on sour dough and a iced chocolate with almond milk. Everything was perfect and flavours were great. And the staff really helpful and friendly.

Had the miso mushroom with added hollandaise. So good!!!! Hollandaise was some of the best I've ever had. All gluten free and delicious. Staff are super friendly and service is great. Coffee was delicious. Will be back. Get in and enjoy a great start to your day.

Came from the Waikato and called into Cafe Near Me in the heart of Mount Maunganui. Enjoyed great food and coffee. Highly recommend.

Great wee find this morning, very laid back and quieter than the main stays on the Mount Main road which was nice to find. My iced americano was great, the steak sandwich was delicious as well! Will definitely be back! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Amazing lunch eggs bene were fantastic, curly fries too double yum and they made my iced coffee the way I like it with icecream yusss I would highly recommend and will def be back thanks :)

What we liked about Cafe Near Me is: - Flight coffee - Lovely fresh food - Heaps of GF options, and healthy options - Friendly efficient staff who did things like bringing a fresh bottle of water before we'd even asked - Nice surroundings and ambience - much more chill than the Marine Parade cafes - The Affirmation Station

We had a wonderful experience this morning when meeting friends for brunch at Cafe Near Me. The food and service was faultless. We’ll definitely visit next time we are in Mount Maunganui.

Service was great, delish food and a great atmosphere. 10/10 would highly recommend!! Will be going back next time when over at the mount.

Stumbled across this cafe and was delighted to find such friendly staff and the bonus was a cabinet FULL of delicious gluten free food. Enjoyed a chai pudding so good we came back the next day !!
