Review Bollywood Stars Indian Tandoori Restaurant - Napier

Wow, what a beautiful experience. We were heading out to cellebrate, and nothing was open in napier, so we headed down to Bollywood ... Greeted by the loveliest, sweetest Sam who took us to the perfect spot, it was like she knew where we wanted to sit. The restaurant was spotles clean modern but yelled authentic indian food was coming. The menus were really nice and gave good exsplinations of what food was what! The food came out and looked beautiful like it had been made with love. As Sam came over to ask how our meal was going, I was telling my partner, its like heaven in my month, she reached the tabbe and asked how it was going and i exsplained it is like heaven we are so impressed! Please pass it on to the cheff!!! Once we finished finished we were so thankful and content. We went to pay and the chef came out what a guy!!! All the staff were well presented and had such a lovely vibe, we gave our thanks and they gave us a discount!!! Such a beatiful,postive,heavenly exsperience!! I cant wait to go again!! The restaurant has a unique atmosphere that transports you back to India! We ordered few dishes; all of them were different and had flavours from different parts of India. The dishes were not only fragrant and delicious but sophisticated and elevated in a very modern way! Hats off to the chef and staff as they are relentlessly trying to bring the best of Indian dishes to the palates followed with some history! It was overall, a very nostalgic experience! Would definitely recommend to give a go, very promising!

Great service. Fabulous food. Plus they’re offering 15% discount at the moment so even though their prices are very reasonable, our meal was even cheaper. I asked for something not on their dine in memo but they were happy to provide it. And it was scrumptious. Highly recommend this establishment.

Visited this restaurant for the first time , and I can definitely say I’d recommend this to anyone. As soon as you walk in the place is that clean and how it looks it’s definitely welcoming. The staff are friendly and welcoming , service was fast and helpful , was even recommended about trying the other butter chicken dish , food didn’t take long to come out was even given a little lentil fritter and that was really nice . Food was absolutely lovely to was definitely impressed with the naan bread aswell . Overall definitely will be coming back , thank you again

Had a lovely family dinner for our daughter’s birthday. The best service with fantastic staff which really made the evening! Highlights were the naan breads, butter chicken and surprisingly the best ever sizzling brownie as a birthday treat. Would definitely recommend.

I booked for 7pm on a Tuesday, very quiet night at Bollywood with only 2 other tables (or booths as we had) but quite a few takeaways going out the door. We were seated promptly and given water and menus by the friendly (Indian?) waitress who agreed with us that sharing a main meal of Chef Special Chicken with rice and naan bread would be sufficient. The meal was delicious and we were given warmed plates to serve the food onto. Had a nice surprise on the way out to receive 15% “Winter discount” too. Overall, a very nice meal served by friendly and helpful staff - top marks Bollywood!

They serve on of the best Indian food in NZ. Went for dinner with family and loved every dish that we ordered. The breads are to die for. Amazing experience of home food abroad.

We came with a large group and the customer service was amazing! Took our orders quickly and food came out reasonably fast. Best naan bread we’ve ever had!

A lovely atmosphere, with very attentive staff, we thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience here. Our toddler wasn't happy at one stage, so a staff member came over with colouring pencils and a colouring book. The food was delicious and service was quick. We'll be back!

The staff at Bollywood Stars go above and beyond! My brother ordered from here as a birthday surprise for me and the delivery guy sung me happy birthday and then shared a video of everyone at the restaurant singing me happy birthday as well. On top of that, the food was delicious! Thank you for an all round great experience 👍

Delicious naan bread, crispy, fluffy, butter goodness. Great service for a large group, very reasonably priced

That was my favourite Indian food in town. Unfortunately too expensive now. Will go to your competitors. Cost of living (aka inflation) sucks.

I’m a complete curryaholic. Being from the UK I benchmark against the likes of Brick Lane Curry Houses. The service was really good, the restaurant very clean, and the food was great.
