Review Emporium Eatery & Bar - Napier

We enjoyed the food here, especially the pizza with salami and confit cherry tomatos. The popcorn shrimp had a good bite to it, and the kimchi mayo was a perfect complement. Fried bak choy was surprisingly good, surpassing our expectations as it was served in a bar restaurant. Service was acceptable. Took almost 5 mins for us to be seated, despite the restaurant not being too busy. Staff were very friendly though, which made the dining experience quite pleasant.

Decent feed and great service. Decided to go out for a meal on NYE. Had lamb and pork meatballs / steak, fries and salad. Food cooked perfectly and service was impressive.

Great Food, Great place. Great Staff. The Food is as Great as it sounds on the menu. The drinks menu is another great adventure. The only thing is (just being picky) paper napkins are ok for fast food but in a really good restaurant ... No.

Its a beautiful place and not to mention amazing view of the ocean. Its apparently the oldest cafe of Napier, it definitely does have the decor for it. Has lot of breakfast/ brunch options. People are helpful and accommodate vegetarians. Would definitely recommend it.

Service was very quick and friendly here. The atmosphere was casual and inviting. We had the waffles, pulled pork rolls, with a side of pork sausages, potato hash, and croissant. The waffles were fluffy and delicious, with the right amount of lemon to not be overpowering. The pork rolls were off the charts tasty. The combination of BBQ sauce, hollandaise, and egg yolk was tangy, tasty, and velvetty smooth. The pork sausages were tasty, and reasonably priced. The potato hash was not quite a hash in my opinion, but was still tasty.

Excellent service and all round experience. The goats cheese tart was a stand out for me, and the red curry sauce (with chicken, rice and bok choy) was one of the best I've had.

Had the BBQ Pulled pork breakfast roll. It was awesome. Staff were friendly and the menu had plenty of options that I would like to go back and try. Reasonably priced also.

Napier is known to show off it's vintage art and this restaurant lives up to its standards! Beautiful decor and the food was amazing. The 12 hour slow cooked lamb and fish & chips was delish!

Great atmosphere. Excellent food. We dined in the main dining area away from bar. Sumptuous setting, good service and particularly good high quality food. Highly recommend.
