Review Six Sisters Coffee House - Napier

Busy for a cold winter morning, with space inside, however we opted for takeaway. Coffee was really nice, however I now regret picking an americano because I feel like I didn’t do the coffee justice by watering it down so much! Great vibe and awesome location, staff are friendly and the sort of people you would expect to run a cool coffee spot like this!

Great. In town on business, first time at this coffee shop. Great!! Nice to feel welcome when away from home for work.

Awesome coffee and service. Really great little spot on the waterfront. The legends who work here really have a passion for the business and make you feel really welcome. The ambiance is relaxed but with a touch of spice so you could stick around for a while having lunch and a hot drink. Definitely come through here if you're in town.

5 stars, hands down. Quirky setting and delicious and affordable food. Interesting choice of breakfast bagel with egg and bacon inside and the home-made granola was to die for, still thinking about it now. Open deck with sea view.

Lovey coffee house and Cafe with great ambiance, and delicious coffee and food! Service was great and menu options were unique! I haven't had a real bagel in so long, and it was perfect! Definitely will return.

Friendly team, good food and coffee- I sat watching the sea, the cyclists, the walkers and the World slowly making its way ... just what I needed ... take time to rejuvenate in this busy cafe serving locals and visitors alike. My preference is to sit on the front deck and be a part of the action but there are inside and back patio options available!

Can’t fault this place! I’ve been here twice now and both experience have been great. Coffee is YUM, Bagels are YUM, location is beautiful. I agree the menu is small but this place prides themselves on quality, if they expand I feel like they might lose their way. Keep up the good work

Great place to relax, and overlooking the beach. Staff very welcoming and friendly. Coffee and food excellent. Check out the history of the Six Sisters building. It is a historical set of 6 houses next to each other.

Nice coffee, friendly service and (very important) reliably open until 4pm, even Sundays. When most of the cafés have closed their doors (terribly early) Six Sisters is still open and even at 3 50 pm Lucy and Jan are more than happy to brew an awesome latte or hot chocolate. Have I mentioned the crumble slice? Icing on the cake: ocean view!

Best Coffee, and coffee spot in Napier. There's nothing like enjoying a fresh brew on the sunny deck looking out at the sparkling sea. They also have a great range of tasty little treats (also GF and DF options) to accompany your coffee. Annnnnd the crew are all wonderfully friendly :)

We stumbled upon the place as we were walking along Marine Parade looking for a cafe. We stopped by to grab some hot drinks and a friend wanted something to eat too. The place is quite small with a few tables inside the shop. It did seem to go back a bit but not sure if it included seating. The menu is behind the counter over multiple blackboards and they did have a cabinet of food. The bon bon did look interesting, made with condensed milk.
The hot chocolate was ok. The chocolate flavour was a bit light for my liking but it was there. A friend had a bagel and he seemed to enjoy it. They also have a few other items on sale like cloths and keep cups. It might be a nice place for coffee and grabbing it to go.

Dropped in for a hot drink on a cold morning. The hot chocolate I ordered was OK. Nothing special. Nice decor, the service was relatively quick and friendly.

Really sweet cafe in a good location. Limited food options; more of a coffee and cake place. I found the muesli bland. A sweeter fruit compote would have made a difference.

First time visiting, I’ve always looked and said “I want to try there”. Such a great spot on the marine parade, looking out to the ocean, people watching on the deck. Friendly service. Yummy blueberry bagel, with plenty of sweet treats on the counter. The iced mocha was average, hence why I scored the 4*. But I would defiantly be back!

The cutest little cafe right across the road from
The beach. So homey and cosy and all the food looked delicious & so reasonably priced! Had a spinach & cheese scone & a soy hot chocolate and both were soo yummy! Highly recommend!!

Appearance of the cafe from the street is absolutely charming, being one of the brightly coloured timber terraces in a row. Not surprisingly though, you can't see any of that when seated in the cafe. All you see is shade cloth hoarding for civil works across the road, which completely impedes the sea view.

The coffee is solid. Great crema on the espresso, but just slightly bitter. Chocolate and cream cheese cake was yum, and the kids enjoyed their gingerbread men.

Bright and airy. Front Terrace a little too sunny - we could feel the cancer. Could do with better retractable shade awning than the wimpy umbrellas.

It's a must goto place in Napier if you enjoy good quality coffee. Cafe has nice vintage/homely feel that brings out nicer atmosphere. Also has nice sitting area in front of the shop that provides great view of Marine Parade. Only thing to note is, their coffee can be little inconsistent depending on barista.

Very funny name of this cafe : six sisters. The staff told me that it was meant the six building. Bought one post card for only $ 1.00 and had one large size of flat white for $ 4.50 there. It was all good smell of milk and coffee.

Great little cafe off Marine parade! Set up in an old style art decor building with an alternative vibe, it offers a nice spot to sip on your coffee and watch the busy beach side road. The first thing you notice when you walk in is the revamped vintage coffee machine.

There's a decent menu and the coffees were made well - the service was very friendly and efficient as well. Definitely worth a go!

My daughter suggested to have lunch at Six Sisters. I ordered a Salmon, and salad, simple dish, beautifully presented, tasted divine, totally enjoyed. The location fantastic, hospitality absolutely spot on, the amount of people stopping in, lots of happy faces and didn't appear hectic with the service. I hope I receive the same experience the next time we visit.

Called in for lunch today. The Art Deco building is delightful with with friendly and professional staff. The food was delicious with a good selection off a blackboard menu.
While only a small cafe, it does well.
