Wow what an AMAZING evening spent at Shanis. A big thanks to Raj who went out of his way to produce our birthday girl with a little cake dessert with a candle. It was so unexpected and of course we had to sing Happy Birthday at which the rest of the restaurant patrons joined in. Great service also provided by another service person but if you read this thank you for also making our evening. Great food, great atmosphere and the best customer service we have recieved in a longtime. So guys head on down to Shanis and enjoy a great night out! Really stoked we booked. Thanks Team still buzzing.

Was at a wonderful 70th celebration last night 7/10/23
Shani’s catered brilliantly for our large group- they were efficient with collecting our numerous orders. The food was beautifully presented and of a very high standard. Everyone at our table all commented on how great the food, atmosphere and service was.
When I requested a cocktail one of the two waitresses we had sorted it very quickly.
Just an awesome night and awesome venue.

Awesome service, I am gluten free, when I told my waiter I thought I could not have the cheese sauce he let the chef know and I was made a cheese sauce without flour. EXCELLENT SERVICE!!

The location is good, away from the busy Napier CBD.
The ambience is good. It is quiet when there are few people but once it gets packed, you'll notice the noise.
Food was fantastic! They have big servings so you might need to consider this if you are planning to order a lot. The food tastes wonderful and well cooked.
Recommended if you are in the area. You might need to book in advance as there's a lot of people going ro rhis place.

Booked for our end of year work dinner and was very impressed with the cleanliness, service, food and price. Food was delicious, decen6t portioned and delivered to our table promptly. Staff were well presented, polite, attentive and friendly. Will definitely return

Service here was too notch! Good atmosphere for casual dining and has kids area. Each table has a rock salt jar to hold a tea light candle. The food was lovely and served in good time. Spacious and clean restaurant. The parking isn't the best but the food well makes up for it. I had pork rack and saw other meals served while here and they all looked really nice.

Very busy when I visited on a Monday night with my family, also my 6 year old niece who made friends there and enjoys the kids area.. meals were prepared quickly, good service. Menu was good. It’s a good place for standard food,burgers, ribs, steaks, chicken etc.. I think there are better places around however. I won’t rush back...

Been here several times and it's always a joy. Staff are amazing, very accommodating, food is reasonably priced and super delicious. Food comes in at a good time after ordering. Recommended!

Had the mixed grill platter which was amazing and great value for money. Ribs cooked perfectly, steak well cooked as well and the chorizo had lots of flavour with a bit of a kick. Only critique I have, it would have been nice to have a bit more salad which also had a beautiful dressing. Would highly recommend this spot for a family meal - staff are so nice and easy to deal with as well.

A friend told us of this family Restaurant and said it was great. Went today for lunch. I had the loaded bacon burger with chicken, and my husband had the grilled chicken with mushroom sauce. the burger was the best i have ever had, the chicken cooked to perfection, lovely and moist, as was my husbands chicken. would highly recommend for casual dining. will be back. Amazing staff and delicious food. Had the Panko crumbed chicken breast and Caramel Mint Tart. I would highly recommend both of them. A perfect place for family lunch/ dinner.
