Albion Canteen - Napier - Photo album

Can't put into words how good the food is. Highly recommend the hot cakes with berries, chocolate soil, and chocolate mousse of you have a sweet tooth; or the chicken katsu eggs benedict if you prefer savory. Portions are huge too!!! I'd eat everything on the menu, even if it killed me. Its in the t
This place looked absolutely enticing in the rain and we decided to try their tiramisu coffee since it sounded pretty interesting. It was definitely worth the try. The whipped cream on top was delicious alongside the biscotti.
Delicious and healthy lunch for such an affordable price, customer service was lovely and the overall vibe of the cafe was super comfortable. Most of all, coffee was great!! Thanks!
I regularly grab a decaf latte to go from here. Not everyone makes a great decaf but Albion does. Whilst I have a short wait, there's always something to read or just enjoy the fresh air as they often have their doors open wide. It's a welcoming regular coffee spot. On the few occasions I've grab a
Albion Canteen has changed hands a few times in recent years, and the current iteration is the best in my opinion. The coffee is really good, and the fresh baked and cabinet items are tasty and fairly reasonably priced for these days. They also have a tasty looking selective breakfast and lunch menu
Wonderful experience at Albion. I came here to try their McClure’s pickles toastie takeover. I was impressed with their service and this epic toastie (The Chicken Katsu Tostie). I hope to visit again before I travel back home.
Clean and tidy café. Meals are wonderful. I had a Eggs Benedict with bacon. Chef bake a nice and soft milk bread and the bacon is very thick and delicious. My wife had a French Toast. That is also superb. Whipped yoghurt and overnight baked merengue on chef made bread with fruits sprinkled like a Xm
First time visiting this Cafe. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Lovely latte coffee and Anzac biscuit. Loved the sitting areas, and access for wheelchairs. Reasonable prices as well. Didn't have to wait long for coffee. Service came with a smile.
One of the most groovy cafe in town, kids absolutely loved their hot cakes which were full of flavour and good mixture of different texture. Their Chicken katsu egg benedict is must-try, never seen anything like this elsewhere.
Good food, well priced and the place was lovely and welcoming. Staff were a pleasure too.
Amazing coffee. They have made an art out of poached eggs and bacon. Stunning
Had the Katsu eggs Benedict. Bloody amazing!!
Chicken Katsu egg bene is amazing! My kids love soft pancakes with fruits. Also, tiramisu is must-try, so good.
Lovely food, lovely sunny well furnished Cafe, lovely young American guy who gave wonderful service, lovely young lady also gave wonderful service. Leaves alot of napier cafes for dead . I'll be returning for more.
The new owner’s meal and coffee are wonderful! I had a French toast. The big meringue and fluffy yogurt balanced perfectly and their homemade bread was beautifully soft and light. I loved it!! I bought an almond croissant and a cinnamon bun for takeaway for my daughter. She loved them too!!
I thoroughly enjoyed having lunch there with my friends yesterday. Warm welcoming atmosphere, the food quality is amazing! The menu have a twist of Japanese cuisine since they changed hands in November. I had pork belly sandwich, the pork belly was done for perfection. Great place to go for breakfas
