Review Raffles Street Cafe - Napier

Very nice coffee shop, I can recommend it. The only thing that one must be aware of: they do not accept international credit cards! Only cash or a domestic debit card from NZ will work.

Big brekkie very nice. Perfect for a leisurely holiday meal.

Absolutely amazing cafe! The staff are super friendly and helpful. The coffee is always delicious, as is the food. They are very accommodating and nothing is too much trouble. Thanks for being a place we can guarantee a good coffee with a smile!

Nice cafe and with food of GF, DF and Veg options. Lot of choice of bakery and sweet slices and slice can have a taste sample, that I recommend for people who want to try all different slices at once.

Great food and service - loads of gluten free options and milk alternatives, really relaxed. It was busy but the staff were doing a great job and made us feel welcome and no stress.

Love the bit of this, bit of that idea, got a chance to try everything I wanted on that menu. Cool wee cafe in Napier, would highly recommend! Friend had fried chicken waffle, loved it as well, except bacon was a little bit too salty... other than that, everything was perfect.

Nice little cafe offering a range of brunch and snack options. Paninis are a good buy and the smoothie with spinach and mango was refreshing. Not bad for an inner city cafe.

Not locals and stumbled across this cafe, lovely service and we both rated out breakfasts 10/10. Great coffee and all the cabinet food looked so good. Looking forward to our next visit already

Absolutely brilliant place to stop off to get a good breakfast and a fab coffee. Service was friendly and meals and drinks came out incredibly promptly. I had the eggs bene on Mac and cheese croquettes and the hubster had the Rueben’s stack (corned beef, pickles and cheese on rye). Both were to die for. Coffee was spot on. Wifi was a tad slow but in a good 4G area, so no drama. Apologies for the half eaten bene photo. Hunger beat me to it.

As a regular, I must have my daily caffeine hit here at Raffles. Enjoyed a mother's day breakfast - Eggs Bene with salmon, and the Big Brekkie for my son. Just delish. Consistent great flavours, filling (big ups to make my big boy full!) and always great music in the background. Fab service from the ladies and awesome vibes all round x

Lovely breakfast here with my mum, auntie and 4 month old. Managed to get a little seat near the bathroom which were quite secluded for when I needed to breastfeed which was lovely ❤️ will definitely be coming here again 💕

Setting: A cute little cafe with a street front terrace. I was with a group of 20 and we had a room. The room was very hot - a fan or two would have helped.
Coffee: I had a flat white which was average
Food: I told the counter lady that I don't eat grains. I ordered a Thai salad and emphasized no noodles. Instead I was given croutons!!!! The sauce was far too sweet. Another lady ordered toast and eggs. The "toast" was very pale heated up bread.
Service: I think they may have been overwhelmed with the number of customers, although all 20 of us did not arrive all at once. The coffee and food arrived promptly.

I might go back if I am with good company but will still just have a long black.

First time at The Raffles Street Cafe, but its a new fav, Delicious coffee and its nice to sit away from the busy pedestrian streets and relax. Staff were very friendly and the tall mugs for a large coffee were a fun change

The new Raffles is now open.
- Raffles Cafe has been refurbished to bring in better tables, new umbrellas, a new, safer outdoor patio area, planter boxes and the music gives the place atmosphere.
- There's now a food display cabinet along with the blackboard menu at Raffles and a redesigned customer flow making it just work better all round.
- Window tables have been installed inside, great for...

Full Review here: http://tweet2eat.co.nz/2011/11/raffles-cafe-in-napier/
