An absolute jewel in the crown of Napier is the Sangam Indian restaurant. The decor is delightful with great ambience and attention to detail which provides the perfect setting for the wounderful indian cuisine. The menu is extensive and the food authentic its a pleasure to taste the delights that come from the kitchen. For an overall great experience and authentic indian cuisine its well worth the effort. Highly recommended.

Superb food. Starters all home made (except poppadoms unfortunately, which let it down).
Goan fish curry was hot and very tasty. Waitress could have swallowed a happy pill, but we all have dour days. Thoroughly recommend it.

All the staff worked hard to feed the hungry during the power outages. Honestly can not recommend them enough! They were all so kind hearted and didn't want anything in return. I am so thankful for the work they have all put in!!

Mango Lassi was banging, would recommend going 1 level higher than what you usually go for with the spice here (eg if u usually get medium, go for hot)

I went here three years ago, then again last month. The first time I ate there one night, and went back the next night as my friend had tried my meal and wanted to eat a whole portion. The meal I had was the Malai Kofta. As soon as I went back to Napier I had to go there and see if they cooked it as well again, and they did. Sanam has a nice atmosphere and pleasant staff and good hygiene. Everyone I went with enjoyed their meals greatly.
