Great food, exactly what I wanted.
Got a large mixed salad box with fries to take away. Fries were standard fast food fare, but well cooked and salted.
The meat in the box was great, again not too salty. The salad components were nice and fresh as well. Portion size was generous.
Definitely has gone on my list of regular food options in Nelson!

Ordered the paasha mixed grill. Flavour was fantastic, would give 5 star but the chicken was undercooked.Had to purchase extra rice which was pricey at $4. The amount of rice was too little for the amount of meat on the plate. Good amount of meat for the price. Absolutely wonderful service.

Best meal we've had in New Zealand in over a week. Lovely family business, serving fresh & delicious food. Take your tastebuds on an adventure away from the typical kebab. Scrumptious baklava too. Nelson locals are so lucky to have this place on their doorstep. Update: even though we spent only 2 nights in Nelson, we happily ate at Nysa's both nights, as their food is so good & there's nothing like it where we're from.

Very authentic kebab and salad. Wait staff was super friendly and food was served super quick. Reasonable price with large portion, the sauces are tasty and meat were plentiful. Can't recommend the food enough!! Only disappointment was when we were there on last Sunday for our second round, shop was closed on short notice. Might need to travel all the way from Auckland to Nelson to eat it again 😅

The only real Turkish kebab restaurant and food all over New Zealand owned by a Turkish family. Meat and dish quality are the same as high standard in Turkey. Shish kebab was extremely delicious and a big portion. The meat doner kebab is real, not the sausage kind other restaurants call “Turkish”. Baklava is authentic. Highly recommend.

This has become my favourite place to eat out in Nelson. The food is always fresh and delicious (the dolma are heavenly!), and the service is always excellent. The food is very reasonably priced for the portion and taste, and they are able to cater to coeliacs.
Make sure to get an apple tea with your meal and you'll leave happy!

Good food and great value. I could tell this restaurant is very popular among the locals. We were seated outside because inside was full and packed.
I ordered Small Korra Shish Kebab served with rice, salad and pasta. For a small order, it's still a big serving. The Kofta was delicious and my partner enjoyed his Lamb Shish Kebab as well. I did find having the pasta on the side odd but not bad.
Good customer service and the staff were very friendly and entertaining.

Really good kebabs at reasonable prices. Felt more healthy than a regular kebab, portions are large and well presented, and they had friendly service too. The Baklava was decent too, although I think Peanuts rather than Pistachio.

Love the food and service, really good pricing as well. The only thing that stops it getting a 5 is because of the burger combo meal. At the time of ordering we were asked which drink we would like with the combo. They didn't arrive with the meal so I asked for them. At no time were we told it was only for the takeaway option until it was time to pay. That added unexpected extra $$ on to the total. Otherwise great standard of service and food.

Absolutely brilliant meal. We were only in town for marchfest but we popped in on the friday night and got the chefs special platter for two. Very filling and delicious meal. A+ out of ten will eat there again when I nwxt visit Nelson.

Great people and fantastic food. Best baklava ever!!! We plan to try all the food from the menu, and for now cant find anything that is not great!! And the service is even better. I would recommend all to go to Paasha!!!

Ok, it's about time I write a review. Since our move to Nelson almost 2 years ago, we've been going to Paasha nearly every week. Paasha simply has the best Turkish food I've ever had! It's fresh and yummy! The owners and staff are lovely people; service with a smile! My personal favourite is the carrot zuchini kebab. Oh, and don't forget to have a portion of baklava to finish it off. (and you'll regret sharing that, so order a portion each!)

Pleasantly surprised, can across this by accident. Service was great, everyone smiling and attentive. Food portions much bigger than expected. There is small and large sizes and the small is like a normal meal, the large is huge. Lots of meat. If you choose combination meats it is the same price, some places charge you extra even though it's the same amount of meat. Salads and overall meal very tasty. Only disappointment was I got a combination falafel and lamb kebab, there was heaps of lamb but only one falafel? Overall good quality food and bang for buck. Would definitely make this my regular if I lived here

A welcoming and warm experience as soon as I entered the door.<br/><br/>Easily the widest selection of dishes I've ever seen at a Turkish restaurant. I just had to try the inviting lamb shishkebab. <br/><br/>I ordered the large and it's generous size and taste did not disappoint!<br/><br/>The lamb was mildly charred as advertised and came with a good selection of salads and sauces. <br/><br/>The service was exceptional too. I can't wait to come back and try so many other dishes!

So me and my friend were looking for an indian restaurant, which were closed as it was past 2pm. Guess where did we landed? Yep, at Paasha! <br/>I must say that I enjoyed every bite of my meal.<br/>It was fairly priced and the staff was so good and welcoming. I will be returning here again when I visit Nelson next time. <br/>NO COMPLAINTS!<br/>I would definitely recommend Paasha to anyone who is looking for a place to eat some delicious food.

Lunch time special with a small kebab and can of drink for $10, not a bad deal. The lamb was salty and generously filled with salad and selection of 2 sauces. They use a thin wrap so it's a bit lighter than other thick Turkish breads. Traditional and friendly service.

Great service and amazing food and coffee. We even got little candies with the coffee, because we werd covered in paperwork and brochures to plan our next getaway and seemed like we needed it. Went in tired and overheat, came out with a smile on my face and completely refueled. Great place!
